What is amazing about this is that Akwa Ibom State is diversifying the economy while simultaneously moving Nigeria towards being more of a manufacturing nation and not an import dependent one. Remember this is a country that imports toothpicks!

So these developments are certainly a most commendable effort by the state government, lots of labour intensive projects here that will provide ample employment opportunities and boost the economy in the region even with same Akwa Ibom being the highest oil producing state in Nigeria.

The total cost for the program is 3248 EUR which is 1308510.16 naira and is expected to cover a period of 1 year and 8 months

Can you please give me the break down of every other fee that I'm expected to pay?

Fees like;

- student visa fee
- average accommodation fee (off campus)

My younger bro is also current studying cyber security at Concordia uni, he is an electrical engineer but IT option. His IT background actually boosted his chances of gaining admission.

Okay, so which masters program would you advise a graduate of Entrepreneurship to go for that'll guarantee higher chances of admission?

Dude... to get admitted to an MSc programme in Cyber Security, you must have prior IT/Computer Science background or some sort of knowledge (Computer networking and basic programming). Your undergraduate course is more of finance and supply chain management. Although, since you took couple of web development courses, you might be able to get admitted at least. Some Universities might not admit you for Cyber Security, they'd rather have you do an MSc in Computer Science.

Assuming you get it, you'd have to write a strong SOP to convince the V.O. So do a little research on couple of Canadian Universities offering your course and send an email to their graduate department outlining your qualifications and background - the goal is to see if you meet the admission requirements. If you get a go ahead, you can now submit an official application. The next thing would obviously be to find a way to convince the V.O, but one step at a time.

I am not going for an Msc, but a PGD...I really don't know how getting supervisors with funding works..

I suggest you go to thread 15.. and read up cos there were Msc applicants who applied, got supervisors and funding and got visas...
