SmartPolician: If any ethnic group successfully leaves Nigeria, that will mark the end of the country because it was never built on equity, justice and fairness.
The biggest beneficiaries of one Nigeria are the core North and South West (chiefly Lagos State). South South are the biggest losers and are always intimidated because they are the minority. Thank you for this comment! |

PerfectlyPerfect: You guys should stop saying this thing. I'm Igbo and I want biafra but you shouldn't be saying people should leave their investment. People own properties and businesses in other countries. Igbos can own properties and businesses in Nigeria when Biafra comes True! But that doesn't mean they can't sell off their properties and businesses too. Because Nigeria will do everything possible to frustrate them by charging exorbitant taxes, tariffs, fees, levies, duties, permits, etc. on anything they own. It is already difficult to operate a successful business in Nigeria today as a citizen, you can imagine what will happen when they eventually secede. It will be almost impossible to own any business or investment at all in Nigeria as a foreigner because that is what they'll become, foreigners. |

dre11: Secretary to Kano State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji, lamented that the Federal Government was taking too much of the revenue. “Federal Government should take 41 per cent, states 34 per cent, LGAs 24 per cent and we need an independent one per cent for Kano because it is a mini-Nigeria,” he said.
Kaduna State Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Mohammed Shuaibu, said: “Certain percentage be set aside for poverty/insecurity-ridden states, and 13 per cent derivation should remain, but extended to mineral resources.” Lol this people and their pattern of thinking never ceases to baffle me. They do not even appreciate that the South-South are willing to relinquish 50% of their resources, it is Lion share they want. The reasons for their demands are utterly baseless, invalid, and unsurprisingly birthed from their inherent parasitic nature. Why dragging other states behind with the unending poverty and insecurity in your states? We southerners don't share the same values or customs as you. The bulk of your leaders are uneducated and the majority of them even refuse to go to school, yet you want us to bear the costs of the mismanagement and incompetence in your region? Please go back to your groundnut pyramids and hides and skin business, and use that to fix your mini-Nigeria and poverty/insecurity-ridden states. Or go reallocate your Zamfara gold revenue amongst yourselves to sort out your problems. Leave the resources belonging to the indigenous people of Southern Nigeria alone. We have our own problems to deal with and we deserve every Kobo accrued from our God given resources. Lion share ko, Buffalo share ni. |

Nigerian government trying to be cunning here I've since come to the realisation that the higher your creativity at being a crook is the better your chances of holding key positions in this regime. IPPIS is simply another creative means to loot from the masses, and this time doctors and lecturers are their prime targets. |

You know any credible ones with cheaper rate and at least same level of seamless integration into apps and websites? I'd like to know, please. I'm actually more interested in where you got your findings. I've never used PayStack so can't say much about them, but I still made a transaction on the Barter app by Flutterwave @400/$ about a week ago while a day prior I exchanged @566/$ on the blackmarket, same amount. |

If you can connect with the right angel investors, a prototype and small-scale launch would get you investors.

Nice step in the right direction. Now the Southern governors should come together and push resource control and fight it with the FG with their last breath.
Forget about exclusive or inclusive list, we can only get any meaningful progress on restructuring or secession through our elected representatives.
—The SW governors showed that during Amotekun creation. —Wike is showing that with this VAT. —They should collectively find a way to exploit more loophole to effect some some of structural change and be ready to 100% support it.
The only set of guys that is currently hindering this move are the directionless SE governors. They are neither here nor there: I couldn't agree more. No need exploiting any measly loopholes, they should collectively demand for what is rightfully theirs! |
