You people need to have sense for once. With all that has happened, would you still lump Benue, Plateau, Taraba, swathes of Nasarawa, Southern Kaduna, Kogi and Kwara into your ridiculous classification of a so-called North? Even if by "North", you mean the North West and North East, how do you reasonably expect them all to unanimously vote en-bloc for one candidate? Who is that candidate? I don't understand this misplaced and vexatious notion of a homogenous "North" in the present context.

Simply because using the meagre resources of Anambra to build a Presidential lodge at that time will not benefit the common Anambra person ( smart cost-benefit analysis).

If it is for vote buying, I have recently come to agree that it would be a waste of time because of the stupendously complex logistics required to pull it off nationally. Like you said, most of the funds earmarked for that would be diverted and pocketed by the wolves he surrounds himself with, all the way down to th agents at each poling unit. Only less than 30% would trickle down to the actual voters and it wouldn't be enough, and wouldn't go round.

So really, it's all about how he would grip INEC by the neck and manufacture figures. That's the only way this ugly thief can stand a chance.

There's not much to say. My only worry is that I don't know whatever secret stranglehold/strategy Tinubu's backers might have on INEC, in spite of the so-called BVAS. There could be some secret backdoor in that system, which this guy and his people have a foot in. With his billions of dollars and extreme underworld penetration, he is capable of anything. I am only having bated breath because of this. But if it comes to that, I expect that the heavens would fall, via revolt. Let everything collapse since we want to be mad.

Other than these underhand strategies and manipulations, it is impossible to see how a blighted and nationally unpopular character like Tinubu would win fair and square, regardless of structure. It is logically impossible.

If after 8 years of President Obasanjo, ending as recently as 2007, and another 8 years of Vice President Osibanjo, one old fool from the same ethnic group in the South is still desperately claiming Emilokan, and his people are also provocatively claiming 'awa lokan', then don't insult us with any Southern talk.

As much as Obasanjo has his many faults, he is the most detribalised and nationalistic president we've had and certainly one of few such remaining in the South West.
