Well it really depend on the level of their trust and understanding. When hubby got a job in another city, we both agreed for him to go cos of the financial advantage of it. But looking at what we're sacrificing I'll say it doesn't worth it. We communicate very well but the big gap is there at times i just wish he was there when i got back from work and no one to talk to (no kid yet). I assume the role of hubby and wifey now. We are weekends couple now sat and sundays. I'll say it's not the best to be apart from one's partner in any circumstances. What keeps us going is that we understand and trust each other.

An speechless. As hilarious as it sounds if it's real is a big one. Prayer + counselling go do am. But, mind u don't at any point in ur relationship get physical with her cos the payback go brutal o. Pls always deal with her in wisdom. It's just a pity that u'll be in constant fear.............

Fathers and husbands are the heads of the home and they believe in being respected and honoured. They are kings in there homes, therefore people in that household need to forever respect them. They are not egoistic, it's the nature of commanding respect that is in them and get it they must. Some believe it belittle them to enter the kitchen while some believe it's disrespectful to their wives. Op, if u marry the previous generation husband in this new generation, u might do more. I have a friend that his wife dears not eat while he's eating, the wife sits till he finishes his food, gives him water anytime the needs arise, kneels to give him water to wash his hands after eating and even say thank u for eating. Anytime he's eating and the wife is in the kitchen, he will call her to come and give him water that is on the table where he's eating and the wife even eats in the kitchen and she doesn't complain. If it were u, wat will u do?I bet u dad is not as my him. Men are mathematics, once u're able to figure them out, u win.
