Coogar hv u ever seen an uncircumcized guy bf and see how ugly it is? I hv a 27yrs old younger brother( child of my mum's friend) that got circumcised last year cos his girlfriend run away wen she saw dis thing. It's a beauty for the boys but for the girls hmm i am scared. There was dis article i read that said FGM might lead to infertility in women though i don't no the authenticity of the research but i knw it's not wat anyone shud do to her babygirl.

What i know is it reduces the child sexual drive( libido) cos it's her clitoris that they'll cut and this might be a problem when she gets married in future, she might be infected and such person might bleed to death as well cos they might not have neccessary facilities . FGM is done locally, pls dont expose the child to harm. most tribes that do it believe their female will not be wayward cos wen dey don't enjoy sex dey will stay away. Female genital mutilation is barbaric.

How i wish someone can stand up for her, she's just 2 young to go through this. Human right activist should do something. The law law can punish her in another form but definetly not death. Hope someone will go to her rescue from untimely death.

Children are precious gift from God. There are so many couples that have sex as often as possible for many years yet no kids. Will you say they don't know how to have sex? Will you say their sex style is not right? Which ever way the children come from ie legally or illegally, they are precious gift from God. Even if u're not a xtian, pls get a bible and read what God said concerning kids in psalm 127 v 3-5, 128 v 3b. Training a child depends on the parents, what i will scold a child for is what another parent will ignore while another one deal mercilessly with such child. The ways in which we train our children are quite different a lot. Train up a child in the way he should go and when he grows up he wont depart from it. Kids are gift u mold, nurture, cherish and break if need be.

As many that are supporting you on abortion issue are not helping you in any way. Pregnancy and education are two different things and no one will criticize you over this, even if criticism will come with tyme it will surely pass. Are u paying her off? Are u planning to keep the child away from her forever? I think u should hold on cos if u start paying her monthly or a lump sum, that's equivalent to zero. No matter how bad a mother is,( blood they say is thicker than water) one day she will reunite with her child. So, what will be the essence of the payment. Secondly, she might see this as an avenue to milk u i.e she will be the one to demand for what she want monthly once the idea hits her and she won't stop neither will u be able to stop her. Though i don't know her own side of the story, i wish its true sha o. What i know is, she will come for the child one day and u can't keep her away, am sure of this.

What is the relationship between you daughters and ur mum? Does she love you guys at all? Is she gaining anything from ur sister's abusive relationship? Is she getting something from the hubby that she doesn't want that to stop? Is your mum enlightened? Is your sister enlightened? Why is she still there? What if this is ur only chanxe to have a baby? What if u end up having infectious disease or something? Mind you, not all men are patient to stay by ttc woman. Saheed09. Am sure u're one of them, cos if not u won't see the truth and shy away from it. Nurses that curses the patients are being strict u say. Nurses telling patients that awon ko ni awon koba e are strict u say, even the cleaners too are being strict shey? My cousin spent 3months there( male surgical ward) after an accident, it was one of the patient that brought generator and the rest of them were always contributing money to buy fuel, my colleagues baby was in neo-natal for almost 2weeks cos of jaundice, there was no power for the babies. My colleague went to carry her generator while others contributed for fuel, even if the hands of the nurses and doctors are tied, what about things that has to do with them like their attitude to patients, is it government that will provide that too. 90% of the doctors there have a clinic somewhere, telling patients that if it were to be my clinic i will personally monitor you. So i think even if government should put somethings in place, there are people that will not make it work. How will they get patients if the teaching hospital is of a good standard?.

@op. Everthing u said is true. I was there with this severe cramp o, i got there 7.30am, so that i can be the first person to be attended to, the nurses in charge asked us to pay and get ready for consultation, after waiting for a very long time to (while i was in pain) see a gyneacologist, i was told doctors are on strikes and the consulting doctors will only attend to pregnant women. I was scheduled for 2weeks from then, imagine that they didn't care if i was dying right in front of them. The staffs are so mean. They don't value human life. So many personal cases with them there. Can't go there again.
