They didn't defeat or drove them out.
US military returned home by withdrawing their troops until the totally ineffective South Vietnamese Army was crushed by the much more effective NVA, simple as that.
US lost in Vienna you made excuse for them,they lost Afghanistan you also made excuse for them. But you're already castigating Russia despite capturing 5 cities. What's your problem?

The U.S. never had a strategy to “win” the Vietnam War.
Nearly all of the fighting in the Vietnam War took place in South Vietnam, with some of it in neighboring Cambodia and Laos.
The U.S. heavily bombed North Vietnam throughout the war, but never launched large-scale military operations north of the demilitarized zone that separated North from South Vietnam. North Vietnam, meanwhile, consistently sent forces,both elements of the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) and the Viet Cong into South Vietnam. America’s strategy throughout most of the war was built around three basic ideas:

Build up American forces inside South Vietnam and inflict heavy damage on North Vietnamese forces operating in the South to convince North Vietnam that they could never conquer the South on the ground.

Bomb the hell out of North Vietnam to make the war so painful and costly for the North that they’d want a way out.

Train and equip the Army of the Republic of (South) Vietnam (ARVN) so that it will be able to repel attacks from the North without relying on American assistance.
Not until the withdrawal,they were not there to capture Vietnam.

The silly mistake this Russia keeps making is threat. Even while drowning, the best thing to do is stay calm and observe but all they do is still give threat.

I will make this as short as possible.
Before marrying my wife she seems to be this very generous and accommodating fellow . I felt fall in Love with her because this is just the kind of partner I want,

I have not really stand very well financially, though comfortable and contented, but I have this great dream of, because of what I pass through to help as much people as I can.
While dating her, she told me all kinds of stories of her philanthropic and generous gestures to people.

But moving forward to today, she seems to be direct opposite of everything.
She detests people coming close or we offering any kind of help or assistance to family both hers and mine not to talk of friends.

What about suggesting to assist a relative that can't afford, with their child education na war
We have not born but I have more than enough space to bring one or two children to see them through school but my wife is not buying is at all at all.

I know who I am before I marry, this is the only thing that gives me joy, and my only reason for asking God everyday to bless me so that I can bless people.

But right now am seriously confused
it hurts me alot but I don't wanna force anything against her will.

I have tried discussing it over and over with her but she is still not buying it, with the excuse of that we have not stand enough to carry anybody .

What could be her reasons and
What should I do?

The corruption in our military is endemic and pervasive, a lot of money earmarked for military hardwares has been looted for decades leaving our armed forces in a sorry state.
