2. You dropped out of school and your elder brother sets up a business for you and you are now a ''big boy''. The next thing he tells you is '' After I have picked you from the gutter and got you to where you are now, you dare to raise your voice at me?
3. A former classmate of yours tells you after a little altercation with him these words '' Comot here jare, have you forgotten that you used to be the dullest in the class?
I actually know the vernacular(Urhobo) phrase or word for this action(s) but please I need to get the English equivalent. Over to you guys (and gals). Thank you.

Pray you do not encounter them. One of my friends always kept a 12 round pump action gun at the head side of his bed. However, one day, he was taken unawares and as I type this the weapon is gone plus about 300k, 4 laptops, phones, jewelries etc. It was a clean sweep. Security lies with God, my brother.

We were at home one evening and our generator suddenly went off. Sensing that they could be armed robbers, I instructed my children not to open the door. We now reverted to use our inverter to power the house. After a while, I went to the bedroom to pick up something. Behold I heard shouts of Jesus, Jesus! What is amiss? Armed robbers are here, how did they get in? I later learned that my wife asked my son to go bring in the generator and before you could scream Holy Moses, ''move, no noise '' were the instructions and the rest is history. Lesson to be learned. Poor communication gap. The children should have told mummy that daddy instructed otherwise. Please recount your experiences to other NLs.
