President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the composition and appointment of members of the Federal Government Delegation to the 2014 Hajj,

Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto was named National Amirul Hajj and leader of the Federal Government’s delegation.

The announcement was made in statement on Monday, signed by Sam Nwaobasi, special assistant (media) to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

t added that “The date for the first meeting of the Federal Government’s delegation will be communicated to members of the delegation in due course”.

The Secretary of the Delegation, Ambassador A. U. Baraya, can be contacted on phone number 08137555555 for further information.
