Politics › Re: Buhari Plans To Step Down After Oyedepo Threatened To Open The Gate Of Hell by Here2BustnScrew: 2:53pm On Jan 26, 2015 |
Sirfizz: APC presidential flagbearer General Muhammadu Buhari is making frantic plans to step down from the February 14 elections after receiviing news of Bishop David Oyedepo’s threat.
President Goodluck Jonathan was received by the General Overseer of Faith Tabernacle at their headquters in Otta, where Bishop Oyedepo spiritually pledged support to GEJ’s re-election bid.
Unconfirmed sources within PDP campaign team reveal to us that Goodluck Jonathan is currently not pleased with Pastor Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God for aligning towards General Buhari’s candidacy, hence GEJ sought to woo approval from Bishop Oyedepo.
Bishop Oyedepo in his sermon and prayers aggresively threatened to “open the gates of hell” on whoever that opposes Goodluck Jonathan in his reelection bid.
News coming from APC camp reveals that General Buhari is running scared by the threats, and is making plans to step down. However, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been egging him to ignore the threat as they are so close to victory.
The top APC chieftains are currently in a closed door prayer session, where they are being led by Pastor Osibanjo in a series of vehement prayers to neutralize Oyedepo’s threats.
#ShareAjoke #SatireSeason will GOD hear Osibanjo's prayer? He has lost it. No hope for him and his party. A man of GOD dinning with criminals, what a shame |

We need to work out a way to either form an allegiance with the yorubas or Hausa if we are ever gonna make the most out of Nigeria, or we fight together for our sovereignty. allegiance with traitors? super story.. as it is yourubas and Hausas cannot be trusted. I think working with the ijaws is their best option. |

debbie: We have been crying we want change and some are saying the change we want is here already. The truth is that both GEJ and GMB WILL NOT change (talking of over 190million people). Even if everything is made free, corrupt leaders gone, economy improved and all we clamor for is given to us,WITHOUT me and you changing our attitude and behaviors,we will still make a mess of all we have.can I talk to you my fellow youth? We keep saying we have bad leaders, let me ask you:
1) in your family, how do you treat your parents?
2) in your locality, have you been singled out as one who fights a JUST CAUSE? Are you honest?
3) in business, how sincere are you or are you full of GREED?
4) in school, do you believe in bribing your lecturer to get a high score or you believe in reading and getting your grades?
5) in your place of work, do you sort your way to get PROMOTED or NOT? 6. When in charge of finance,do you handle it well, are you prudent and accountable? 7. When in power do you oppress people and above the law?
To the parents, 1.How do you treat that person serving or working for you. 2.Do you attach ethnicity and tribalism in all you do in your work place and social gathering? 3.Can you be fair in your judgement with out being partial. 4.Can you do business with the next person without thinking of how to defraud him? To the general public,do we adhere to simple traffic rules,do we follow instruction especially when in the bank or places like that without jumping lines. Do we have to bribe our way with the law enforcement agencies,or buy them over? Can we do without producing fake products or stop pirating an existing one?
You in the civil service, how many people have u denied their rights and promotion? how many times have u falsified your age just to be in service? how many times have u signed and defrauded the government funds just because of greed? how many innocent people have you accused. Lecturers are not spared either.
You that is a church leader or pastor, how many of your members have you deceived into giving their money, yet you havent stopped showing favoritism to the rich and mighty, neglecting the poor in your places of worship.
I can go on and on asking questions but let me stop there.... My point;
If you find it cool playing dirty in all you do and yet you want CHANGE, you are DREAMING. #IMUSTCHANGEFIRST#
The desired CHANGE starts with YOU... true |

barcanista: Just like South Africans called Madela "Baba" or "Greatgrandpa" and elected him President at 74, so will Nigerians call Muhammadu Buhari "Greatgrandpa" and elect him President at 72. Even Tunisia had to elect 88years old "Ancestor" as President. Cote d'voire elected 70 years young-old man as President in 2010. Electing "Ancestors" seems to be the way to Go in Africa, I barcanista and majority of Nigerians will elect the "Ancestor" from Daura as President and Commander in Chief come February 14. There is NOTHING Ayose and Jonathan can do about it.
Sai Buhari God Bless The Old People but there is something GOD can do about it, you all will be surprised. |

This is the type of change they want to bring to Nigeria. APC is pathetic, misleading Nigerians since 1914. Bunch of liars, always deceptive with the truth. We can now see that all their hug-wash campaign to bringing change to Nigeria is all about using that word called "change" to deceive few Nigerians who can't sit down and reason, think, innovate and create a life for themselves.
It's a pity, the truth is finally coming out. I hae not heard from tinubu for some time now, I hope he not in Toronto now trying to negotiate a certificate for candidate. I think buhari had just pull a big scam on ACN party. true. they are deceivers. |

Having reduced them to that, then you can earn the support of the immediate communities for you to flush the insurgents out of the society

Politics › Re: General Buhari's Plan To Secure Nigeria by Here2BustnScrew: 2:08pm On Jan 21, 2015 |
Seun: Most people have no confidence in the current government's plan to solve the problem of terrorism in Nigeria. However, it's important to try to find out whether the opposition has a better plan. For this reason, I went through General Buhari's recent interview with Thisday, and extracted the concrete statements he made about his plans to secure Nigeria and fight terrorism as the president of Nigeria.
Here they are, in his own words:
1. "What would I do differently? It is to make the military much more effective in their operations. If we get the opportunity, we will make the military capable again ... That is what we would do differently, to make Nigerian military capable again."
2. "Having known how the Boko Haram developed, what I would have personally done differently would be to get the Presidents of Cameroun, Chad and Niger together to say, ‘look our borders are porous and that we are not able to effectively protect them and monitor movements of people in and out of our territory, but please make sure that you do not provide training facilities or allow people to be coming into the county.’ "(technically, this is a statement about the past, but I'll allow it since he can do it when he gets into power)
3. "I think what I can do is appeal to the patriotic sense of the military."
4. "I think the situation needs a leadership that will give the military the backing in terms of sourcing the weapons and ammunition to fight. And Nigeria, no matter how oil prices have fallen, will source enough funds to fight the insurgents."
5. "This is what could be done differently, use intelligence, find out the leaders that are responsible and deal with them."
6. "Well, since they are stronger than the government, I think the government should negotiate with Boko Haram."
7. "If you do not cultivate a good relationship with your neighbours, it will cost you so much in terms of security and the economy. So you have to cultivate a friendship with your neighbours and then it goes on to ECOWAS, Africa and the rest of the world. I think this is a viable policy option."
8. "First of all it is important to debunk the notion being peddled by Boko Haram that Western education is ungodly. They go into schools and slaughter children both Christian and Muslim children. They go to mosques and explode devices, they also go to the churches and motor parks. So really, it is very easy to disabuse the minds of Nigerians on the wrong notion that Boko Haram is a religious enterprise. They are just simply terrorists. Having reduced them to that, then you can earn the support of the immediate communities for you to flush the insurgents out of the society. I believe that this will not take a long time."
9. "Then you discuss with your neighbours to make sure that weapons are not crossing the borders and that there are [no] training facilities for terrorists."
10. "I think that soldiers and police barracks and their armories must be strengthened to ensure that they are properly secured."
11. "I think that the air force has to be made more effective by acquiring more new aircraft and establishing a base in Kano so that the distance to cover is shorter and returning to base is made easier."
12. "You know there were problems with the Boko Haram leadership, there were some people that claimed to be leaders of Boko Haram and the sect disowned them. So we have to identify the real leaders of Boko Haram before you can negotiate with them."
13. "I am insisting on intelligence, which means gathering information and making sure that it is correct and you deal with it. Without intelligence you waste too much resources and lives."
