Really?! Considering your total ignorance of Islam (except what you read on Islamophobic websites), I will pass over that. But, then, have you ever read the Bible well? If yes, you must have read these crimes of Jesus, among others:

And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly
destroyed the men, and the women, and the little
ones, of every city, we left none to remain.
Deuteronomy 2:34

And we utterly destroyed them, ... utterly destroying
the men, women, and children, of every city.
Deuteronomy 3:6

And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them
before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly
destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with
them, nor shew mercy unto them.
Deuteronomy 7:2

And thou shalt consume all the people which the
LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall
have no pity upon them.
Deuteronomy 7:16

Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city
with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and
all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the
edge of the sword.
Deuteronomy 13:15

But of the cities of these people, which the LORD
thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt
save alive nothing that breatheth.
Deuteronomy 20:16-17

And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city,
both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and
sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.
Joshua 6:21

So smote all the country ... he left none remaining,
but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the LORD
God of Israel commanded.
Joshua 10:40

Thus saith the LORD of hosts ... go and smite
Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and
spare them not; but slay both man and woman,
infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
1 Samuel 15:2-3

He's so obviously guilty. He should have plead guilty. There's no one who hears his story that won't be at least moved to pity him a bit.
A guilty plea would have had him sentenced for the minimum of sentence for manslaughter and with good behavior he would have gotten out on less.

Now that his lawyer let it go to trial, the prosecution can have the jury believe it was premeditated. I.e he saw the e-mails and planned and executed the murder. Very easy to swing it that way.

Double wahala for him. The son is as good as an orphan while he rots in prison.

He should have just listened to the bro that asked him to not go home at that moment.
His divorce would have been through by now and he'd be moving on with his life instead of moving into prison.

But his defense mumu sha.
Which one are they selling? That it was an accident or that they quarreled over her infidelity which resulted in the fight?
They couldn't stick to their story.
No wonder they won't win.
You appear intelligible to me, far above the average Naija babe

The Land of my own

Is the land that I will reign

The land that i will flourish and find my delight in You never with pain

A land where the Sun arise and all the brightness of the sky exudes, truly a land I can call my own

Though the whirlwind ravaged us but it won't go in vain

The Blood, the pains, the sweat and all the Cries of thy seeds in years past will remain lingering until thy freedom is regained

The strong relies on his might but a wise man beckons on his wisdom

Like the soldier ants we waged war against our enemies but got pecked by the joint evil foreign birds, devoiding our neighbors of wisdom and empowering them all with the volatile life extinguishing weapons to deprive us of our rights.

But like a peaceful dove and the wise tortoise we must be free and like a tall edifies we must grow

So let it Reign let it Reign Oh my loving Biafra ! I must let Biafra Reign !

You can't hid a lited candle under the bed and sleep on the same bed.

So let's say between January and June.

He married traditionally, he went to church for counseling, he started dating another woman, he impregnated her and married her in church.

If he believed in traditional marriage that much why didn't he take the second woman for traditional.

Or if he didn't believe in church marriage why take the other woman to church for marriage
Read the story properly and discern

A man is not a handbag or object you carry about to make sure no one snatches him. No one snatches a man. Its the man that carried his legs to another woman. Stop portraying men as Toys! How about women living with their husbands as housewives yet the men still cheat, tell us what the woman did then? Im sure it would be your fault if your wife cheated on you. Maybe you left her to be snatched by someone else. Or perhaps you were not good enough in bed abi?
If I'm not doing my responsibility as a man to my wife, not making her happy and comfortable then I'm gradually pushing her to someone else's arms. Be attentive and responsive to your spouse, that's my watch word

So the couple will grow grey hairs after 6 months? The pastor noticed they dnt know each other well before marriage. What is wrong with that? That is why couples go for pre wedding counselling and are sometimes asked to court each other more to know how compatible they are. Plss be reasonable!! 6 months isnt a long time to court. There is no sin in waiting. Patience is a virtue and its obvious this man isnt patient which is a very imprtant quality to have in marriage. Nobody is running away. What is there in organising both weddings to follow each other? what is there? This is the proper sequence it is to happen: Courtship - Wedding- Marriage life!! Instead he became more st.upid by marrying another woman in a church!! The same church he couldnt marry the 1st woman in. you are not a good judge and therefore failed to pass your message across. Sorry. we must not agree on this.
These couple the pastor thinks they aren't ripe for marriage is happily living together thereafter till date . You don't marry someone because you fully understand him.

So for him waiting for six months is an impossible task. You are even blaming the lady for the man's indiscipline and stoo.pidity. What a life! Don't you know patience is a virtue. It is this type of mentality that supports infidelity. So if d wife travels for six months, the man will go ahead and impregnate another lady because she gave room for temptation. shocked shocked shocked Nawa o
Do you think this other lady is not aware that the man is married to someone else, that lady has been eying the man. The lady only gave room for the stranger to fulfill her mission by staying away from her matrimonial home

So 6 months is a long time to date to you? Is dating not to come before marriage? Its obvious the couple dnt even know each other sef that was why they were asked to court.

Yes, the traditional wedding is also blessed as long as you are doing the right thing by paying the bride price. Why couldnt they organise both weddings to follow each other; traditional 1st then white follows to avoid conflicts? very simple. Yet this man showed how s.tupid he was by marrying another woman IN A CHURCH!! IN A CHURCH!! You didnt see the hypocrisy spelt out in this man? You are justifying the man's actions. Its not the lady's fault that the man was sooooooo s.tupid to do what he avoided with another woman. are men objects or babies you drag about or control? the man on his own decided to do it himself. Dnt put the lady into this! The man does not love this woman. That their marriage is a Sham!!
Mind you they have dating before the Six given to them to court, is it until after they grow grey hairs they will get united.

Don't take this too personal try look at it from where I'm coming from, all these stress would have been avoided if the lady had parked to her matrimonial home after the traditional wedding

Of course the bible never mentioned white wedding. The jews never practised it so dnt expect it to be spelt out there. The white wedding is another form of wedding by christians and is never prohibited to be practised either. It includes vows and blessings from God too. The couple have different values and should have discussed this before getting married. It is very clear you are in support of the actions of the man and so any lady who did what this unfortunate lady did deserves to be dumped and replaced by another woman. That is the moral of your story. The pastor asked this man to court this lady first. please what is the problem with courting before marriage? Please find a more convincing story devoid of gross s.tupidity to pass your message accross. This one didnt work at all.
Who said the Lord doesn't bless the traditional wedding too, I'm not in support of the man but the lady allowed what is rightly hers first sleep away. How on earth will a married couple still be courting, they are already married traditionally. And more over I don't believe in long courtship, it gives more room for the unexpectable remember body no be firewood.

Are you a christian? If you are, you would understand that marriage originates from God and needs his blessings. A good christian will wait until he/she has allowed God to bless the marriage which is why most people wait till white wedding. We are not saying the traditional wedding is not important afterall you are adhering to the traditions of the land to pay the bride price. But if you value God's word very well in your life, its still not a sin to wait until the white wedding. To me, its all about choice. No one shpould be compelled to take a decision he/she isnt comfortable. This is something the couple should have discussed before getting married. Its obvious both of them have different values.

Now my grouse with your story is this: you stylishly justified the man's act by pointing fingers at the lady. So the man was right to have gone ahead and impregnated another woman even when he is married traditionally. he went ahead to marry the new lady. O.k now, why did he divorce this lady? you can see this man is st.upid and lacks direction and focus in his life. He remebered whom he rejected and went back to her. for what? your story has not passed any message. rather its now warning ladies to be veeeeeery careful of men that come around them. A lot men have questionable intentions that are not genuine. That man does not love this lady and im afraid that their marriage will experience more problems. he only went back to her because she is an option and is available.
Check from Genesis to Revelation there is never a place where you will see the so called White wedding written and how it should be practiced, the bible only told us to marry and consult the parents which we always do traditionally

Exactly. The Op couldnt find a better story to pass his point across. Its not convincing enough. Not only was the man in question s.tupid the lady was the most f00lish woman on this planet earth to have gone back to a man who dumped her for another woman. Its only a matter of times they will experience problems again. The foundation of their marriage is faulty. So if the new wife and this man had not divorced, this man would not have remembered the lady existed? She was now a 2nd option and the f00lish lady accepted to be so. The Op sef had to garnish the story by making it seem like a 'A happy ever after' one. Lol. Horrible story.
I guess you don't what I'm trying to convey here, most of ladies believes if they have done the white wedding they are not married yet, all this problem wouldn't have come if she had held her man tight and stop all these hypocrisy of religious junk.

He was engaged but proceeded to get another woman pregnant
He then went ahead to marry the new woman
According to you, he broke the new woman's heart by divorcing her
To add insult to injury, he than backtracked his step to go all the way back to the first lady in question

Is the first lady a dummy or you just concoted the story from the back of your southern region?
Why didn't the lady park into her matrimonial home after the traditional marriage, she gave room for temptation by waiting for the unnecessary White wedding.

The rate at which we Africans are allowing our cultural practices become extinct in the name of religion and civilization. It is only in Africa most especially in Naija we practice three kinds of wedding namely

1. The Traditional wedding
2. The court wedding
3. The White wedding ( Church wedding)

Holding in a high esteem the Europeanized wedding also called the White wedding and not putting much value on our own kind of wedding. Spending your time and resources on all three kinds of wedding is time consuming, so I will advise we safe time and resources my embracing one which is ours.

Left for me I will say Africans should embrace their traditional wedding practise and avoid this complications becoming a scape goat to another region's cultural practices.
, I rep Africa.
