What is the right word to use in my LOE ?

Waoh.....
Thank you.
sheikh007:

It’s best you avoid Egypt air.. it’s cheap yeah.. but in the long run you’d spend the same if not more than when you would have booked another.. there’s been lots of bad reviews from Egypt especially from Nigerian travelers..
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Heritagebib: 7:19am On Nov 26, 2023
Bt do I need a return ticket for student visa?
Is this just about Egypt airline or others do ds too?
I saw that Egypt airline is cheaper than other airlines, ds y I'm jumping at it

sheikh007:

It means you must book a return flight, otherwise you will be refused a connecting flight to Canada and forced to return back to Nigeria..
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Heritagebib: 12:34am On Nov 26, 2023
How true is the attached screenshot for Egypt airline? I can see that it's cheaper that is y I want to go for it.
Is Egypt airline a good one or I should NOT

@gabby18
You mean I should open a domiciliary account (I don't have anyone yet) and buy few dollar from Aboki and deposit it.

Leave some naira in my account and when I open Canada account, I will use lemonade to convert it to Canadian dollar then transfer to my Canadian account.

Change some naira into Canadian cash (like how much??) and that will be my cash at hand that I will declare at the airport

THAT IS MY UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT YOU SAID.
if anyone has a better suggestion from what I wrote, pls Lemme know o. If I'm right pls like my comment or quote so I can go ahead.
THANK YOU

Heritagebib:
How long does mbs(my bank statement) take to expire? I did mbs on 4/9/23 and I just submitted my application. My biometrics is October 6 cos I ddnt see September date and by then mbs would be over 1month. Do I need to go and do another mbs as that one I submitted would have expired? How many months can mbs stay VALID.

You are not owing rather it is the school that is owing you. The $63 is what is left after they removed the first semester fees from the amount you paid.

I have a decent girl that is ready for a SERIOUS relationship. She was my colleague but she just relocated to Canada. I have gone through some of your posts here and I can see that you are not someone that sugarcoat things ...
This babe is 40yrs old but she is a nice girl. She doesn't know about this but I like her from afar. Everyone in my office say good things about her. If you won't be serious abeg no bother to be in relationship with her cos her eye don see shege already.
Pls send me a DM for her number if you are interested. I go ask you few questions though

Nbv1:

You are very correct, it is difficult to find true love here, Nigerian girls are even worse, that's why they all remain single till they hit menopause. They copied the same western culture once they get in here. To ask for their number becomes problem “ the girls are struggling yet they are only looking for guys that Are already stable of which the Canadian capitalist system of government Makes it difficult for many to succeed in short time. The girls from the west are worst.they package a lot and live fake life here just to trap guys who are even struggling in the first place. Their was a French girl I recently went on a date with, just because I got to the city where she resides using the subway and Uber, she came to pick me up using a Mercedes benz she was financing, after the date the b...tch told me she can't be with a man that is struggling and taking Uber and using subway lol. Since that day I just blocked her. The same miserable girl went on IG TO LAMENT HOW HUSBAND is difficult to find in Canada. I have a full time job, I am saving up for real assets and cutting expenses, avoiding insurance on liabilities taking up my money. The girls Aim is to take the little a man is struggling to save up.

The same thing Nigerian girls do here, when they get older, they will be questioning why God has forsaken them without husband. These girls are the problem in most cases.

For now I will be going to brothels if need be. I am still looking for a brothel in downtown or northyork Scarborough havent seen any yet I want suggestions my people

Good day everyone. What is the STANDARD numbers of pages for SOP or number of words? My SOP is 8pages and my immigration consultant said I should go and reduce it to 4pages cos 8pages is too much that no VO has time to read long sop
Please is 8pages too much for SOP??
Travel / Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Heritagebib: 4:21pm On Aug 12, 2023
Ok
ChiKen2027:

Hello,

Follow the process as highlighted on the IRCC portal. I will assume they are coming purposely to visit you, so their visa application will be under the category of a family visit. And as you are a temporary resident in Canada, you will need to present the following documents:

Letter of invitation - A letter written by you to your parents. Details of expected info are below:
Travel History - A clear copy of 1 or more of the following: Your parent's previous passports and/or visas (used within the last 10 years to travel outside Nigeria), Entry and exit stamps, Study and/or work permits that indicate their duration outside Nigeria, Expired or Valid visas.
Itinerary - Copies of any of the following: flight details and hotel reservations - Very Important.
Account statement of your parents - I want to believe that your dad will be the main applicant and mum will be his spouse, Bank name and contact of his account (Just give MBS for this), Proof it is their account - Their name and address on the statement show that the account is theirs, Account details - At least 6 months of account details, including balances, helps IRCC understand their financial situation.
Employer information - If dad and/or mum still working, A letter from his/her employer can confirm that they have a stable job and will return to it. It can also show that his/her employer supports his/her visit to Canada. The letter should be printed on his/her employer’s official letterhead.
A clear color copy of his & her valid passport or travel document that he/she'll use to travel to Canada.
A completed IMM 5476- Use of a representative (IMM 5476)form - I believe you will be the one that will apply on behalf of the applicant. You need to complete this form.
A completed IMM 5645 form - This is where you will specify that his spouse, your mum will be accompanying him.

You need to scan all the pages of the passports both current and expired and join them together to attach them to the section. Also, please, let them show the financial capacity to take care of their trip themselves even if you are the one planning to house them. Tie to the home country is key, show more interest on the letter for them to come back home to. There is a section for additional document, this is where the letter of explanation will come in and if there are property documents/ business occupying their attention back home, you want to put them there together. Make sure the main applicant is any one of them that has a higher range in terms of finance/travel experience. Then your mum will be his accompanying spouse. Your letter of explanation should also be detailed and clear with purpose of visit detailed.

Alternatively is for them to visit as a tourist, on this, you do not need to issue any letter of invitation. Here, travel history, itinerary, account statement, passport, Filled use of a representative (IMM 5476) form, Authority to release personal information to a designated individual (IMM 5475) form and completed Family information (IMM 5645) will suffice.

The guru's in the house can add what I might've missed.

Good luck!

Please you are the ultimate owner and trustee on the account, tell them you need a reference letter that shows you are the signatory and print the SOA. You are to use the reference letter and SOA for the purposes of application.

Dear Customer,

We would like to inform you that our KidsFirst and MeFirst products are accounts for children and teenagers aged 0 – 12 and 13 – 16 respectively. The accounts are designed to encourage savings culture by parents and guardians for their kid(s) or ward(s).

These accounts are held in trust till the child / ward turns 18 years when the operations of the account becomes transferable to the beneficiary.

Please note that these accounts are not to be used for:

Business purposes
Salary purposes
Forex Trading
Terrorism financing / Money Laundering
Cryptocurrency trading
Be informed that the limits below have now been set on all minor accounts in the bank

Please note that the limits are still subject to the CBN Cash withdrawal policy.

THAT WAS THE MESSAGE (EMAIL) I GOT FROM MY CHILD BANK.

Does it mean I can't use the account for my studies?
Bobomaigida:

That is also fine, just ensure you explain in your SOP why you did that and back up the ownership of both accounts with bank reference letters, using the child's account is not suspicious because you are the owner of the account at least on till the child turns 18.
