2) The bible makes it clear that sinners would go to hell so I'm assuming that the man(being qualified to be referred to as a sinner) is sent to hell
3) What I need to know is if you consider it fair that such a person is sent to hell

In the context of the thread,which is to demonstrate the incredibility of the concept of the biblical hell as viewed by most believers as a JUST form of punishment for earthly transgression (you think otherwise) I presented a scenario to counter u view. And I would ask this as a question now

If a person serves your God steadfastly for the majority of his or her life,and by steadfast I mean he is righteous but unfortunately he slips and commits a sin and dies before repenting,where would he go ? . There are only two options

if he goes to HEAVEN then that means that people can go to heaven even though they died in sin,that is not my concern for now
if he goes to HELL,would you consider that fair ?

and vice versa,a murder,rapist,serial killer repents at his deathbed,if God sends him to heaven do you consider that fair especially in light of the first scenario ?


I don't expect you to give an answer that would implicate your faith,the reason I'm taking my time to write these episodes is for those reading,they would decide who is making more sense

Christians know that the concept of hell has a lot of issues but they won't admit cos they are dishonest. They would never agree with something that paints their religion in a bad light
and the unknown (afterlife) is the only thing they can hold on to convince people because as long as life on earth is concerned, Christianity does not offer you any significant edge over others except perhaps you are a pastor

Its easy to say that someone deserves to go to hell for little crimes but ask them if it happened that their son or daughter who they raised in the Christian faith and who lived most of his life as a Christian commits a "little" sin and dies in the process,would they still consider it fair to have him tortured for eternity alongside murderers,rapists,serial killers, terrorists

I think that you just made my argument for me. Obviously, homosexual relationships do not produce offspring without help from heterosexual activity. So, the very thing is an argument against its own self.

This is, of course, not even bothering with any arguments about the effect that being raised in an unnatural family setting has on any child. Of course, the individuality of human beings can also cancel such effects in the children, but that does not mean that it is by any means ideal for them.
