A chubby Nigerian man who happens to be a driver narrates how the policemen at the gate of the Police Station were greeting him like a chief and shouting “sir”. According to him, he was really amazed that the Nigeria policemen could be so humble because they thought he was a big man not knowing he's just an ordinary driver that they used to assault and shout at anyhow they like. According to what, the man identified as Abiodun told The Human of Abuja; "Most times, I really just want to question God for giving me a chubby body. My mum once told me that when I was an infant, I hardly eat but I never lost any weight.I can still remember when I was in secondary school, my classmates used to make jest of me while other students assumed that I was from a rich family hence,I was well fed. However, my body size has some advantages and it gives me an edge sometimes . Most places that some people can’t enter,I do enter with ease. There was a day someone booked me for a private cab service for the whole day, I was properly dressed in my white kaftan. I drove him to force headquarters and the policemen at the gate were greeting me like a chief and shouting “sir”. I was really amazed that our policemen could be so humble because they thought I was a big man not knowing I am just an ordinary driver that they used to assault and bark at anyhow they like. In this life, one needs to act rich to become rich." https://www.torimill.com/2018/07/in-this-life-one-needs-to-act-rich-to-become-rich-nigerian-man-says-see-why.html Lalasticlala Mynd44 Dominique

Popular Nigerian big boy, Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, a.k.a IBD Dende, is reportedly in customs custody over alleged smuggling. The Ogun-born socialite, who usually gets shout-outs from popular artists like Olamide CDQ, Lil Kesh, and more, is currently in the custody of the Nigeria Customs Service in Abuja, where he is being quizzed over his alleged involvement in smuggling in the South-West, Crime Puzzle reports. IBD Dende was initially invited to the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) of the Service in Ikeja, Lagos, last week Wednesday after which he was moved to the headquarters in Abuja. Confirming the development, on Monday, the Customs Public Relations Officer (PRO), Joseph Attah, was quoted as saying; "He is our suspect and currently in our custody over his smuggling activities." https://www.torimill.com/2018/07/nigerian-big-boy-ibd-dende-in-customs-custody-over-alleged-smuggling.html Lalasticlala Mynd44 Dominique

According to a Nigerian man identified Leo Babarinde Dasilva, his former colleague at work met his wife in the University and helped her through school. They got married and lived happily until a richer man came along. The lady abandoned her husband and daughter for the guy with money. Read the Tweets below; "Men go through heart break a lot but “be a man” won’t let some of us voice it out. I remember a former co-worker of mine, he got married very early. Let’s say 24, straight after Uni. The girl he married, she wasn’t done with school at the time. My G assisted her till she was done. She got done and after like a year, they had a daughter together. He decided to look for a job for her. They were very happy. Both of them working and growing together. Now this is where the story turns bad. She met a “rich” man at work. She started having an affair and she got pregnant by this “rich man”. She confessed to him, left him and travelled abroad with the rich man. Mind you she left her first kid with him. Long and short of the story, it’s been over 10years. No karma. The lady is enjoying her life abroad. The man is still doing his best to raise his daughter. God bless him. This life is very sad but we move still." https://www.torimill.com/2018/07/man-shares-story-of-how-a-lady-dumped-a-man-who-sponsored-through-school-her-for-a-richer-guy.html

A chat between a mother whose son is on life support and her boss has led to a debate on social media. The mother sent a message to her boss explaining she couldn't come to work because her child is on life support. But the boss said that was no excuse to miss work and warned her she will be sacked if she doesn't show up to work the following day. The chat was met with mixed reactions by social media users. Some said the boss was just being professional and it's wrong for the mother to let another person's business suffer because of her personal issue. While others said the boss was wrong to have reacted the way she did. Read the chat below;A chat between a mother whose son is on life support and her boss has led to a debate on social media. Mumu don see herself as a fine girl Na wa o |
This South African lady got married at 17yrs and has been married for 13yrs. She took to twitter to share the lessons she has learnt from over a decade of marriage. Read below; "I was married at 17 yrs old and have been married for 13 yrs, I am 30yrs old with 3 kids A “survival” thread for young wives (and lessons I have learnt)... Start a trust with H, put everything you own in the trust. It must be divorce, death and individuals incapacitated proof. Start your empire early. The sooner you experience the knocks the quicker you will recover. Children are very very very expensive both financially and emotionally, think about it carefully. Don’t assume anything with your partner. Communicate everything even about his mother. Be honest. You will already be short changed. Get used to it now. You won’t win. He will hurt you, really really damage you. No one will ever understand and sometimes you don’t either. I don’t know what else to tell you but the fact that it hurts. Just find a healthy way to deal with it. Twitter/social media is a fantasy. It’s not real life. Don’t make decisions or change who you are to be appealing to social media. Social media is a loners paradise, you have a life, a husband and family, focus on that. Communicate your ambitions from the very beginning. Don’t give an impression to a man that you are ok with what he can provide kanti wena you want more. Friends are not your measuring stick to your success. Don’t compare your marriage. Some people compromise and sacrifice too much to be where they are. Just stick to the family vision and forget the noise. Your husbands’ friends are not your friends. When they call you iVrou, know that you are being taken for a poses. Your husband is your friend. You have people you kee kee with but they are not your friends. Pillow talk and gossip are essential on a daily basis. This is how you will be able to really analyze his mind, his associates and advise him strategically. Everything you were told when the antis held you in a room before your wedding, is true. The 10yr mark is the hardest and where you experience most of the horrors of marriage. Stay strong, understand why you are there. Depression is real, don’t be silent. Go to a therapist. Encourage H to go to couples therapy before hits the fan. Educate yourself. Make some cash on the side with a small business or whatever, just don’t get used to being handed things. Men keep scores, they won’t remember what you did but will definitely remember what you didn’t do and what he did. Never talk about your marriage to friends. Just don’t. Don’t take out your anger and frustration in the kids. They don’t now what is going on and they will make you account for it when they are older. *out on the kids...* If your mom is still married to your dad or until his death listen to her. She will save you years of heartache. And she has endured more than you can ever imagine, appreciate her, love on her but don’t let her be the sounding board of your marriage. Stay in tune with the rhythm of your relationship. Don’t suddenly dance to gqom kanti y’all have been cruising to RnB all along. I am sure there are many more advises and lessons learnt but I am still young and new to being married, I have still got so much to learn and unlearn. One more thing... be quick to forgive. Grudges will only set you back and yena just prosper. ♥️ Respect your in laws they are not your friends no matter how close y’all are. If you are selfish, don’t bother with marriage. KaMarriage you eat your pride with fork and knife, even when you are right mntase ♀️" https://www.torimill.com/2018/07/marriage-survival-tips-from-a-south-african-lady-who-got-married-at-17.html

Igbo Amaka... If you know you know |
A Nigerian medical personnel who lives and works in the U.S., happened to work with his mother in the same hospital during the same shift and his mother did what every Nigerian mother in her shoes will do - showing off. Valentine, who is a travelling ER nurse, was working at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital on a particularly stressful night shift when he called his mother to hear from her, only to discover she was working the same shift. She immediately took him to show him off to everyone in the hospital. The nurse said the pride on his mother's face as she introduced him to her colleagues was one of the highlights of the night for him. He wrote; "I got slammed all night at this ER last night but you wanna know what the highlight of it all was? - Calling my Mom at 3am and finding out she's working the same shift, on the 4th floor ?. I had to endure her introducing me to every single one of her coworkers, but the joy written all over her face seeing her son literally at the same hospital has made my night. - Have you ever worked side by side with your Mom? Man it's not everyday I get this opportunity. It's definitely a special feeling. She won't be working that much longer soon so I'll go ahead and cherish this small moment in time while it lasts ♥?" After Valentine shared his story, women stormed social media to drool over the good-looking doctor who also has a great physique. https://www.torimill.com/2018/07/nigerian-doctor-shares-his-experience-working-the-same-shift-with-his-mom-in-the-u-s.html Lalasticlala Mynd44 Dominique
