NessaBoo:

Mshewww! This is exactly what a feeble minded juvenile would say, as if you can ever measure up to a girl with all the qualities you just listed.

Kindly let me enlighten you a bit, because, for one, men don't always know how to be men, "can I get an AMEN" (Pun intended wink ). But that's okay. We need to let you learn. We are not your mother and won't attempt to teach you. And check this: if you're the right kind of man. I'm talkin about a man worth it, then guess what? You should already got your mind's gears grinding up a way to snag the lady, just patiently seeking the right opportunity.

Sorry. But in my years of existence I have never seen a woman approach a man and not seem like one of 3 things:

Aggressive
Pushy
Desperate

Just want to know, lemme ask you a quick one, if i make the first move, and you're satisfied with it, am i going to lead you around for the rest of the relationship? Will i pick you up for the first date? will i Pull out your chair, or open the doors for you, etc. Forgive the facetiousness, but I seriously doubt it and will soon grow tired of taking the lead and making the decisions. But hell, I've already set the precedent. Gotta be consistent, right? Is that what you really want?

So its not ideal to be an eternal feminist who, at the end of the day, still wants and needs love just like the rest of us. So, know your role, and we leave the agression to the men.
this is a fabulous response. Why should a lady approach me...? It will never work, it has never worked and will never work....even the green light sef ...truth is when a man is ready...he is

Are you sure you are Igbo? The first Christian converts were the Osus. Christianity helped in abolishing the long practiced Osu caste system.

ikennaf1:
One of the disadvantages of Christianity at the time. The people regarded as osu are just people who devoted themselves and family and future families to the worship of a fetish deity.... mostly due to safety reasons or hunger.

Due to influx of Christianity at the time, those people were therefore declared outcasts. They and their descendants. It's all shades of wrong. Whatever one does in a bid to protect himself, he should not be judged for it. During the civil war, a whole community dedicated themselves to a deity when their community fell to Nigerian soldiers. They shouldn't be judged for it, but they are. Religion is not hypocritical but it turns on the hypocrisy in us.

Christianity didn't declare them as outcasts... it was the hypocrisy in humans that did.

As a matter of fact, most Nigerian Christians will want to distance themselves from people whose families are said to have dedicated themselves to one deity or the other.
you know nothing about osu

Family / How To Be A Good Man by Hideki(m): 9:26am On Jun 16, 2018
If we all behave nicely to one another, definitely the world will be a better place. We should all strive to be better, that way we can accommodate others and make life more interesting.

I observed that we can become better if we change or modify a few things about ourselves. Let us start with the following:

1 Always be willing to forgive. We should allow forgiveness flow naturally In us. Some people can keep a grudge for aeons. When we let people know that we can always forgive them, they will be willing to tell us the truth. As humans, mistake is inevitable. Nothing should be unforgivable.

2 Respect people. Irrespective of age, position or hierarchy always be the first to say "hello". Some people believe a lady should greet first... That is incorrect. Politeness and civility should be in the unconscious. We should exhibit it without thinking. Don't assume you are better than the next person, even if you are, there is no point bragging about it

3 Love. Loving is easy and it comes naturally to us. We should learn to love family, friends, colleagues and even people who don't seem to care about us. Loving makes us human.

4 Manage your expectations. We should always learn to manage the expectations we have about life and everything in it. Always expect less that way you won't be disappointed. You won't feel betrayed or cheated. Always remember there is a human factor in everyone so have a prepared mindset when things go south

5 Accept responsibility. Be responsible. Strive to keep your job. Take responsibility even when you will be marginally liable if something go wrong. Build the right mind frame that makes you responsible.

6 Learn to give. Giving makes you happy. When we give unconditionally, we make the world go round. We don't have to own much to give. Giving is beyond material items. We can learn to give our time, voice, experience and aptitude.

7 Be slow to anger. It doesn't take much to get a Nigerian angry. We should move past that. We should develop big shoulders and thick skins so that anger and rage will be a thing of the past

The list is endless but let us start with these and imbibe those attributes that will make us better.

I love you all!

hello Kentrasso I wished we were in same batch (we had AC same day but different time) . We are almost rounding up TS. Yes there are ppl that had their medicals last year and did not show up. Dkingskid is probably one. If you had your medicals last year, you should give your HR contact a call (preferably Gbenga). I trust we will finally get to meet...do have a great day....congratulations once more...do not triple your size before leaving TS... I came in with 4packs and I am about leaving with 6bags... grin

Let me ask what makes Lola the trouble one? Is it because she is Yoruba? Mind you paul never married an igbo girl either he married from Rivers State.

I just don't like the idea that you guys emphasise so much on her tribe, that's totally not cool, not fair and equally not acceptable.

This someone's wife, lover and soul mate that you guys are demeaning like this, that's not fair pls. It's Peter and Lola's marriage and not tribal war.

Pls before you call me afonja mara na abum ezigbo nwaafo igbo so biko gbado ya ebe afu.
and who says rivers is not igbo? I am from Rivers, ozuzu town to be exact and I am Igbo sad
