My best friend in junior secondary school was a Tom boy, she could easily beat up all the boys in our class back then, she was always around to beat up any of the bullies that try to mess around with me, she was like my body guard, the girls were afraid to come near me because of her.
One day she ran to me looking confused and so scared, with a trembling voice she "I am bleeding ooo" instant fear gripped me, luckily we are close to the office of one of the nice female teachers, one look at her the teacher sent me to go and call the head girl of the school, they locked themselves in the office for some time, I was so worried and concerned for my friend, I started praying and pacing around like a man that his wife was in the labor room, the head girl came out gave me money to buy some toilet papers, I ran like a mad man to get them, when I returned I tried asking the head girl what's wrong she just kept assuring all is well she even had a smile on her face.
A few minutes later my friend walks out of the office with the head girl beside her, I came towards her and tried to hold her hand because my poor little heart was breaking and I had no idea what was going on, I just wanted to comfort her but I got a heavy push that sent crashing to the floor and in the most frightening voice and eyes blazing she said "don't ever touch me or come near me again or I will break your head" and she walked away. Tears filled my eyes as I wonder what I have done wrong or has gone wrong with my friend, the head girl told me not to worry that she will be OK and she will come around but I don't understand what was amusing her in this whole matter because she was just laughing.

For few days we avoided each other then one day she came and met me under the tree were we usually hang out during breaks and explained everything to me and how they told her that if any boy should even touch her hand she will get pregnant but her mother have explained more thing to her and she was very sorry for pushing me down, all I could say was " na so you for break my head abi? We were both 13 years old then.
