Mourinho leaves Tottenham Hotspur FC over European Super League

According to Trezor Azul, after an explosive morning where Mourinho refused to take players onto training ground over the club’s proposed Super League admission.

Though, the Portuguese boss signed a four-year contract with the club but leaves north London after less than 18 months in charge. Tottenham are currently seventh in the Premier League – five points outside of the top four – and face runaway leaders Man City in the EFL Cup final on Sunday.

Mourinho has been fighting to save his job since Spurs suffered a demoralising Europa League exit at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb.


In his first campaign, Mourinho took Tottenham from 14th in the Premier League to finish sixth – securing Europa League qualification. Earlier this season, Spurs briefly threatened to mount a title challenge before slipping down the table and outside of the Champions League places.
