The chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, while receiving a two man delegation of the Amnesty international group, pleaded with them to challenge the west to return the looted funds which have been stashed away by a few unnamed individuals. This he did on Monday in ABUJA. This is strange, when you go by the words of the Kaduna state Govenor, El rufai, who claimed that a former minister in the last administration was begging him, to help him, return the monies he looted back to the government. If El rufai has such power, why not ask him to turn himself into a financial amnesty program. Nigeria and BUHARI continue with the search for the missing funds.

This is why Saraki needs to resign or at least step aside to attend to the corruption case brought against him. Senate as an institution is bigger than any individual. Saraki cannot be preventing the senate from sitting and carrying out its constitutional responsibilities simply because he wants to attend to a case which is personal to him. This is totally unacceptable.

Step aside, you must be joking. The PDP will enjoy this chaos, the APC is playing into the hands of the PDP, who have everyone marching to its beat. APC must DIE!

The Nigerian Senate has suspended its plenary till Thursday, after it screened two ministerial nominees on Monday.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Senate had adjourned plenary till Wednesday to continue to Screening of the Ministerial nominees.

It had screened two ministerial nominees from Oyo and Yobe States – Mr Adebayo Shittu and Mrs Khadija Abba Ibrahim.

Hours after the plenary of Tuesday had ended, the Acting Clerk of the Senate, Nelson Oyewo, told reporters that the Senate had decided to reconvene on Thursday, cancelling the earlier date of Wednesday.

Today the senate continued the ministerial screening of nominees. First to take the seat, was Oyo state ministerial nominee, who is a member of the CPC faction, of the APC. During his screening the ministerial hopeful, raised a few red flags
* He denied ever being indicted by an panel of inquiry, for acts of religious intolerance in 2001
* He was evasive, on a question pertaining to the Boko Haram menace, ignorantly showing his support for their cause
* He suggested that all religious leaders should be funded by the government
* He went further to claim that he believed that God was the best police in the world, and so is far better than our police force
This and many more shows that Adebayo shittu is the next thing, to a religious bigot, and for the President to have gone to his state to pick him out of the thousands of credible candidates, just because he is a CPC faithful, shows the APC is in trouble, and surely, they will be many in the SW APC, who feel gored by his selection. I would urge the PDP, to use this as an attack point. Because, with just the right amount of force, this psychopath will crack.

The ones I pity, are NGENEUKWENU, Midolian, passing shot and OMENKA, who spent the money of Amaechi before putting together a good strategy. Children of past Presidents, made sure to stay out of the spotlight, in order not to appear as royals. They were also hosting one charity or the other, but made sure, not to drag it to the media. They also did not organise cheap, fake PR.
