Christianity Etc › Re: Who Appointed Satan The Ruler Of This World? by histemple: 1:07pm On Mar 26, 2023
Honestly, I don't understand this idea of Satan ruling the same world created solely by God. Even to the extent that God's children now have to pray to be freed from Satan.

It's very funny.

It is like saying a Tenant has taken charge over the house built by the Landlord. And the Landlord's children are now at the mercy of the Tenant.

It's a very ludicrous story.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: My Ugly Experience On My First Day At Work. by histemple: 2:56pm On Mar 24, 2023
NairalandSon:
Let me start by saying security job is not my dream job but while I'm very hopeful of getting that dream job someday soon, body and soul need to be put together. An unemployed person with penniless pocket will certainly understand my predicament. The only option is to grab anything provided it can take of your very essential needs. Worse is when you wake up with no food to eat or not even soap to bath with, then you'd realize doing anything is sure better than nothing.

So I got this security job which I resumed yesterday. Could you believe that same yesterday, armed robbers operated in the area. As you know, security or what people call gateman is the one the armed robbers target first when they come to a place.

It was around 3:am when everywhere was quiet, As the security, I did a patrol around the compound when I noticed suspicious noise in the next compound. Before I know, I heard people shouting over there. I stayed back. In less than no time, I saw about 5 people coming straight to my compound. They pointed torch inside. I didn't bother to ask who they were cos I already knew. My people, I didn't even know when I commot for gear run to the backyard of the house, jumped over to the other side which is a bush, breathing like who just escaped death. Unfortunately, I sustained injury while running in the bush. Since the gate of the compound is not high, they jumped over it and gained entry into the compound, but thankfully they couldn't gain access to the house due to burglary after a long while of triaI. Unfortunately for me again, I slept in the bush till this morning.

Now, I learnt robbers operate in the area often. This has further put fear in me. I wouldn't want to be a victim of robbery circumstance because of a job whose salary cannot even meet one's needs.

So I am confused now. Even with the injury, should I go back to the place or not? Presently I don't have anything else doing and I don't have money to sustain myself either. Please what would you advise me?

Note: this happened somewhere in Delta state. I don't want to disclose the location for security reasons.
We already know it's Warri

Yes, it's nearly impossible to start primary school before 10 in those days. Your hand must cross your head to touch the other ear before you are qualified for enrolment into the primary school.

Nigerians are too lenient.. Imagine this idiot Emefiele putting 200 million+ people through this needless hardship, and he still has the guts to look us in the eye and talk cheesy

As for me, I leave Emefiele with God.. But I honestly won't cry if I hear that something dreadful has happened to him or his loved ones.
I would rather concede that Nigerians are docile than misunderstanding it as leniency. A whole country has no reason to tolerate this devilish and extremely wicked sequestration under the guise of "cashless policy" implementation.

Sadly, all the organs that should activate a protest are too weak and compromised. Imagine NLC's Joe Ajaero waiting until forever before making up his mind to protest? People are dying on daily basis as a direct consequence of the premeditated hardship inflicted on the masses.

Small and medium scale businesses which represent a large chunk of our economy have been crushed and the operators thrown into nail biting experiences.

When the elephant has its tail on the mouse and you say you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality. It becomes complicity if you have been vested with the powers to speak for the mouse.

The NLC under the leadership of Comr. Joe Ajaero has been provocatively docile and inexplicably mute.

He is too inclined to worthless and structured negotiations, very weak and indecisive -- all to the consternation of fellow comrades.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) moved last night to end the biting cash scarcity. It plans to flood the banks with more old N1000 and N500 notes.

Reliable sources in the apex bank told The Nation that headquarters of commercial banks had been contacted to collect the old notes they returned to the Central Bank for recirculation.

“Banks have been instructed to collect the old naira notes they deposited in the CBN. Before the end of the week, the country would be awash with naira notes,” the source said.

It was learnt that the old naira notes may be returned to branches of the banks today.

The CBN decision came on a day the Nigerian Labour Congress (Congress) directed its affiliate members to picket states branches of the apex beginning from next week.

The organised Labour also directed workers to sit-at-home to protest cash crisis.

Christianity Etc › I Will Die Soon, My Time Is Near --- Odumeje by histemple(op): 11:00am On Mar 21, 2023
Prophet Odumeje said he will soon die. He made this statement during his Sunday service at Onitsha Anambra State.

According to him, His time on earth is short and he has instructed his Son David to look after his Family.

I will die soon, my purpose has been fulfilled — Anambra pastor, Odumeje

Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanere, the general overseer of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry located in Fegge in Onitsha, popularly known as Odumeje, has said he will die soon, having completed his purpose on earth.

Odumeje stated this during Sunday service while he told his church members that it was time for him to go.

He said: “I have called my little son, King David, and I told him that very soon, I, your father, will leave. You must take care of your brothers and your mother.

“I came to this world for a purpose, and that purpose has been fulfilled. I have finished my earthly ministry and will leave soon,” he told the congregation.

The pastor came into the limelight with his weird pattern of spiritual deliverance, where he carries miracle-seeking members of his church like the WWE wrestlers and smashes them on the floor.

Why not put our kind of economy in consideration. No African country at the moment can operate a full-scale cashless policy. Nigeria started this cashless policy in 2012 but it's implementation has been gradual and flexible.

Sometimes I feel I made a serious mistake going to the tertiary institution.
I had my OND degree about 8 years ago after several months of job searching I realised I couldn't get a job with it and the OND is just as useless as ssce I decided to get a better degree I wrote jamb I got admitted to the university 5 years ago to study engineering.
Now in a few months to my graduation (if ASUU call off the strike) I feel I made a great mistake going back to school.
I feel all the efforts, time and money is be wasted.
I feel going back to school was a mirage cus after school will I still go back to the street as usual.
Do you ever regret going to school?
You are very dull and your mindset is flawed, that is your problem.

BTW, you are still not properly educated even now. You are referring to an Ordinary National Diploma as a DEGREE.

That being said, the primary aim of formal education is to increase your KNOWLEDGE base and sharpen your mind to THINK. To pursue a degree programme solely for the purpose of securing a paid employment thereafter is a wrong mindset and a recipe for unending frustration.

If you have increased your knowledge base and can think creatively, you can't be jobless. You will be either employed by another or be self-employed.

"INCLUDING" and "AND" are not the same.
