How do people even buy cars without insuring them. This guy couldn't have cried if he insured that car.

I remember when I had a very terrible accident with my car, I was even the one saying "Thank God I wasn't hurt". Some of the sympathizers were even praising my emotional strength.

All I did was to reachout to my phone and took pictures. Eventually my insurance company wrote it off and paid me.

Politics › Re: 5 Nicknames President Buhari Has Acquired Since He Came Into Power (photo) by histemple: 1:48am On Jul 21, 2016
ENDTIMEISNEAR:
Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari, has been subjected to both praise and criticisms since he took over power last year from ex-President Goodluck Jonathan. The goodwill Buhari received from majority of Nigerians seems to be waning as the day goes by as reality sets in for both the president and the populace.

A recent rating of the president suggested that his popularity has plummeted to an all time low of 39%. This has been the case since issues like fuel price increase, appointment of mostly northerners, resurgence of militancy in the Niger Delta and the violence by Fulani herdsmen became a major feature in the nation’s polity. Even the president’s hard core supporters are beginning to sing a new song and are lamenting on a daily basis. As it was with most Nigerian past leaders, President Buhari is beginning to acquire nicknames from the populace because of his perceived incompetence by majority of them.

The president has certainly boosted the rumours of him being a sectional president since he came into power. His appointments tilt in favour of the Northern region where he comes from, justifying the campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which warned Nigerians severally before the 2015 elections that the president is sectional, myopic and lacks the necessary requirements to keep the nation as one. President Buhari has since acquired the nick name ‘Northern President’ mostly from southerners who are uncomfortable with his decisions regarding appointments.

2. Change President The ‘Change’ slogan used by the All Progressives Congress (APC) before and during the 2015 general elections have gone sour. Many wonder if the change being preached at that time was for good or bad. Today, the slogan is being mocked by those opposed to the government and those who are complaining of the president’s inability to address the issues bedeviling the country. Unlike in the past, the term has now been bastardized, used for mockery and now represents everything negative in the polity.

3. Johnny Walker President Buhari’s frequent trips outside the country coincided with a brilliant campaign by Guinness Nigeria Plc re-positioning one of its brands, Johnny Walker. The term became a slogan and indeed a catch-phrase for mostly young Nigerians who started calling the president ‘Johnny Walker’. Photo-shopped pictures of the president’s face replacing the mystery character representing the brand became an internet sensation as social media sites like Instagram, Twitter and Facebook were buzzing with the pictures.

4. Baba Go-slow President Buhari’s seemingly consistent delay in making critical decisions earned him this nickname. It took the president all of five months to name his cabinet. To make matters worse, the cabinet was filled with recycled and incompetent politicians even after the president claimed he was searching for the best hands in the country. The failure of the president to address constant violence around the country, the delay of the 2016 budget and the last minute cancellations of presidential movements seem to justify the decision of those who call the president the name.

5. Daura President Nigerians have a way of tying back their president’s shortcomings to his hometown or his residence. From the constant reference to Babaingida’s hilltop mansion to Obasanjo’s Ota farm and later Jonathan’s Otuoke, it has become a norm for Nigerians to use their president’s abode or hometown to play with words. Daura in Katsina state is where President Buhari comes for, the president’s hometown has now been used to create rather unpalatable nicknames for him like Daura President, Daura Dollar and Dollardinho, with the last two referring to the crisis the Nigerian naira faced during its free fall against the U.S dollar.

This story is kinda funny cheesy
I used to think most Nigeria ATM don't work during midnight or vary late hours.
I also don't believe that someone with that much money in one account will not know how to call your banks customer care number for help.
I have less money than that yet I have my account manager phone number and banks free phone number in my phone.
Also with the epileptic service of doing transfer or to simply load VTU through your bank without any problem, I wonder how she managed making transfer upanda

I can't load ordinary VTU through my account without the money entering voice mail for some days. She try sha, that is if the story is really real
All ATMs work 24/7 except if the machine was disabled by the bank or interswitch server is down.

It's just unfortunate that some account holders are ignorant of the numerous platforms through which they can easily access banking services. A minute with the bank's mobile App could have saved her this avoidable loss.

However, somebody suggested having a separate account for ATM only, I think it makes a lot of sense.

My dear, For a human being to invite people for no other reason than to "celebrate" his 1bn shows the kind of character he is.
Even if he was advised to build houses everywhere, he will still sell all because he must maintain a certain standard of living.

Once you increase your living standard, it's difficult to adjust when the going starts getting tough. Sometimes people realize the need to adjust when it is already late.

Buhari is brain-dead, we all know it. How do we expect a man who doesn't know that West Germany is defunct, to transform Nigeria? Pipe-dream!

Christianity Etc › Was Jesus Preaching Or Teaching? - An Eye Opener. by histemple(op): 1:08am On Jul 16, 2016
Some people have this erroneous belief that Master Jesus was going around the towns, cities and hamlets of Judea and Palestine preaching/converting, evangelizing and proselytizing people from their faith to his own new faith!

This thinking is not correct in true sense. What he was imparting to the crowds were basic moralities, ethics and the virtues needed in day to day human interaction without any "opposing" religious undertone!!!

He was never preaching about any different God to the people other than the God each of them knows and he was not imploring/persuading them to relinquish their God and follow his!

These distinctions need to be made so that people will understand that preaching to people to convert them from one faith to another was never done by the master.

Soliciting their religious belief to conform to his own “convictions” was also never done by the master! He was not a preacher but a teacher!!! There is a world of difference between these two words !!!
Neither did he tell the people that their “Jewish” traditions/culture and way of life is “inferior” to any other or needs to be replaced.

He did not condemn the words in the Torah & Talmud which were being preached by the priests (Pharisees and Sadducees), rather he condemned the fact that the priests don’t live by the example according to what they preach in the synagogues! This same “hypocrisy” is still with us today!!!

Neither did he attack or disparage Judaism nor seek to replace it with another religion! The very act of people preaching and persuading others to change their cultural, traditional and customary way of life is indeed against the very teachings of the Master!

His teachings is that one should “respect” the laws that governs his society and that laws should be adaptable to human needs to serve humanity well while at the same time being in “harmony” with the laws of life !!! This means that law is meant to serve man and not the other way round! While man is meant to serve Life!!!

So, laws that govern people’s culture, tradition and customs should be in harmony with the very laws of Life!!!
Therefore Life comes first, then man and finally law!!! When these three are in “harmonious” relationship, all laws serve LIFE---- with man as the “active” part of the tripod!!!
He did not condemn the prophets of old. Erroneously, some people claim ignorantly that Moses, an initiate of the Egyptian mystery school who gave a moral code (The Ten commandments) to the world upon attaining “Illumination” sanctioned revenge by the popular slogan! “An eye for an eye”

This is false. An eye for an eye was Moses' “allegorical” reference to the perfect immutable law of KARMA which is always balanced by cause and effect. It is not a promotion of retaliation/revenge. It is indeed saying that for every eye, nature will exact an eye from you.

Action will be balanced by reaction on the natural plane and not by human retaliations. Likewise good will fetch good as bad will fetch bad with nature as the dispenser and not man.
Preaching, evangelism, crusading, proselytizing about God and religion to another man is an “error” of human judgment which the master Initiate, Jesus The Christ NEVER did. Jesus taught and His teachings if followed, will never cause crises between religions because there will be a balanced order.
