Cristalz:Not yet. A few more years at the top both in England and in Europe. ![]() And who knows,Bergkamp10 is taking up coaching courses and may just take over from Le Prof ![]() The legacy will continue in North london. |
Emperoh:Calm down Lawro has been predicting 'beans' of late. He predicted we would beat Hull City 3-0 ![]() |
@ Gooners I found this very funny!!!! ![]() Read on. It was culled from the bbc The Church of Eboue: Friday Sermon After training some Arsenal players were laying down on the grass and pondering their own lives. It was sunny and the air was still, however each player had a darkness which stirred deep within them. While laying down, they noticied Emmanuel walk by and he seemed to bring a calmness with him, he turned and he approached them. Emmanuel sat down in the middle of the group and asked: Tell thy your woes my friends, Denilson: Some of my recent performances have been poor and the some fans have been quick to criticize EE: Do not judge, so that you may not be judged Wilshere: When will my time come, I have such talent to show! EE: Do not awaken love until it so desires Diaby: I know I’ve had injuries, but I hope Mr Wenger plays me more so I can shine EE: Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the boss’ purpose that prevails. Cesc: I sometimes feel like I’d like to play for Barca, tell me, what shall I do? EE: Everything is permissible but not everything is beneficial Theo: Is it ok to laugh at Spurs? EE: Love your neighbor as yourself, but yea why not? Gael: You know that DVD I borrowed off you, Samir wants to borrow it now? EE: Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s Bacary: I have to room share with Ade! EE: Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and ill-tempered wife Bacary: Err ok then. Emmanuel got up, smiled and walked towards the treatment room. Amen. |
mukina2:So he whines!!! ![]() In such situations, maybe you should tell him, to think deeply next time before he types. Damn, Its obvious, there's no communication between his brain and his fingers whenever he types. Sorry, I also forgot, he's only got a huge head, ain't no brain inside, just mucky grass ![]() |
darefestus:See the scatterbrained buffoon!!!!! SCHIZOPHRENIAC. Can you tell us what you mean? You must have seen someone use it in the Health or Joke forum and u decided to use it. First Class slowpoke!!!! |
@ Muki I have warned you several times. Associating with this dolt called Darefoetus can reduce your IQ. He's just a football analyst wannabe. You come into this thread to write rubbish and we'll all be looking at you. I really don't want to get personal. But I have to. What's your point ![]() Nothing. You can't even spell balderdash. You saw someone use it and you just thought ok, Let me go ahead, idiot!!!! Give us examples where Manure has has been at the wrong end of refereeing decisions and u keep talking about one single game. How dippy can a human being be? Frankly I think you are dim. You should be the S.I unit of stupidity on NL. You have never made sense since you came to Nairaland and I doubt if you will quit writing nonsense. Imagine Foetus of all people ![]() Good thing I have noticed though, by hanging out with your manure friends, your English is improving. I guess that's the only thing you have gained from here, apart from that you are still a confirmed nitwit |
@ Dare Look at this scummie writing drivel here. ![]() Sorry, like I said earlier, you've left your brains in the toilet. ![]() The neutrals all know that Manure has been riding on bad referee decisions this season and everyone is sick of it. You keep hammering on the Chav vs Manure match. Very soon, you will tell us Kalou's goal was offside, or that Giggs was pushed before Mascherano crossed the ball for Babel to score in the L'pool match .Once a scummie always a scummie(Illogical thinking). ![]() Meanwhile that word is balderdash and not balderash. |
@ Dare One more thing. This is the Gunner's thread. Go and discuss how Arsenal always play catch up, season after season, on the manure thread. Afterall,no one writes anything there without mentioning Arsenal. |
@Dare You ?Give me footballing lessons ?You must be 'high' this Thursday afternoon!!!! ![]() Back to footie How does 7 yellow cards in one match equate with 4 illegitimate goals scored in three matches? ![]() Were the yellow cards deserved or not? Were the goals legit or not? After getting 7 yellow cards, did the ref sum it up and give one extra goal to the chavs ![]() Rio's swearing, according to the rules, should have earned him a red card. But no way, its manure! Wait a minute. Wasn't that the match that ended bizzarely? When everyone thought Drogba was brought down and we were waiting for a chav free kick, and the next thing the ref blew his whistle ![]() On the catch up issue. I was talking about 08/09 season and not talking about what happened last season or 10 years ago. As the table stands, manure and arsenal are both playing CATCH UP. So I think its hypocritical to isolate Arsenal in your tantrums when manure too is also doing the same thing. |
darefestus:WHEN ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ??Give us examplesdarefestus:As a matter of fact, you scummies have scored 4 illegit goals already this season due to the referee's idiocy and its just October. We wonder how many more this season. darefestus:and Is it Catch down that Manure is playing ![]() Except maybe in your fantasy world(where manure is on top of the table). You also have to hope for teams to drop points so that you will climb the table. Ever heard, 'Remove the log, |
whitelexi:This is some good news. I can't believe that Dudu would be back before Rozzi Hope he comes back to what he knows how to do best. Making goalscoring look so easy ![]() |
don't know y i feel Tott may use Arsenal game to resuscitate their dwindling fortune ![]() He has scored in every single game he has played against the Spuds. The Spuds may start their resurgence after OCT 29, not before ![]() |
@ Gooners Let's quit hating. Whether u like it or not Silvestre is now a GUnner(Wears jersey number 18 )I can't blame him for anything. Only his 2nd game. For me, I think the high line we played contributed to our defence looking sloppy. On a brighter side, we haven't lost any of the two games he's played in ![]() We need to bring our consistency in the PL to the premiership. The Hammers need some hammering(What d' u all think) |
nyabinghi: You seem to be the only one who is RIGHT and everyone else including the commentators, all the footie websites, all the european tv and radio stations, in fact , the entire football fraternity is WRONG .Seriously, watch the goal clips again! |
Mourinho always want to be in the limelight. I think he gets 'high' whenever he sees his name in the tabloids or on TV. Ronaldo and Drogba, maybe ok. But Van Persie and Torres, that's a big No. |
Great Match Two goals in 11 minutes more or less sealed up the game. I expected the 'issues' in defence. 3/4 out.Silvestre's 2nd game.Song playing with Silvestre for only the 2nd time. I prayed for our attack to get going and they did. Diaby was a great addition and Theo was his usual self. Kudos to all the players and congrats to Captain fantastic, Almunia(He had a great game). Points in the bag, west Ham comes next on Sunday. Hopefully, everyone would be back except Toure. We must win at Upton park on Sunday!!! Go gunners |
@ Grand Jedi My problem with Dennilson is his loss of concentration at times during matches. Also, he drifts forward far too much for my liking(reason why Fab4 is a bit defensive these days). Song is quite strong on the ball and has a good leap. He also 'anticipates' very well. However, none of them is presently ready to fill the void left by Flamster. Maybe later on in the season. But now,no way! Let's see how well Diaby will play if he gets to play DM |
Raimond:@ Raimond That was funny ![]() My greatest fear is for him to switch to a 4-5-1 formation with RVP playing on the left ![]() Why not play the two strikers in a 4-4-2 formation, or drop RVP entirely if you want to play 4-5-1 ![]() However, let's wait and see what Monsieur Wenger will do? |
Check out this piece by Robert Pires. He showered glowing praises on Samir Nasri. http://arsenal-mania.com/articles/3105831/Pires-Nasri-a-worthy-successor.html As per tonight's game, It seems we will start with the back four that finished the game against Everton. Let's see who AW will field in midfield. Guess RVP and ADE would spearhead the attack. I hope AW would not experiment again. It will be the wrong place to gamble!!!! Go Gunners!!! |
Cristalz:@ Cristalz Why was Silvestre bought in the first place? My dear,It wasn't to displace Kolo and Gallas in CB or to displace Clichy at left back.HE WAS BOUGHT AS A DEFENSIVE COVER. Talking about enough games,Have you forgotten that the negro hasn't played any footie in almost 12 months and that he only became fit just a few weeks ago. Do you also know that he played 90 minutes in a reserve match with Stokes after he was certified fit? Also, its Wenger's style whenever he buys new players to slowly integrate them into the team and not rush them. I think that's why some players in the past have failed. I hope it counters what was highlighted. ![]() |
edoyad:Fab has denied those rumours |
What we have learnt today. 1.) Song is not a right back and should not play there. 2.)Van Persie should visit Eduardo and take lessons from him as per being calm in front of goal.He should have scored a lot more. 3.) Walcott is slowly becoming the fulcrum of all our attacks. 4.)Eboue is more comfortable as a right back. 5.) Clichy may be on some kinda drugs. He never gets tired and never gives up. 6.)AW should quit experimenting.and he needs to strengthen come January 7.)And lastly,Silvestre may be our buy of the season. He was outstanding on his debut. |
How fast is Theo? Can anyone help out? ![]() |
Theo the magician 3-1 Game over Let's go for a drink |
Walcott went thru half of everton#s team. Can he be faster than Usain Bolt ![]() |
Cris dearie, My internet link was down. I would always be a gooner even when its rough for us ![]() |
Please dont f"$K with the Arsenal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
3rd week in a row. The ref is an idiot. That is a penalty Now Hibbert wants to kill Dennilson |
grand jedi:I would prefer Song to Dennilson. He seems to have more presence in the midfield than Dennilson(Don't get me wrong,Dennilson hasn't been bad in midfield) Unfortunately, Song's only mistake in that match resulted in that Sunderland goal. ![]() Prior to then, he was outstanding in midfield. Really, it's been our attack and defence that has let us down this season. ![]() We have played as well as any of the big 4 teams. The attackers need to take their chances, i.e one chance, one goal(Eduardo style )and our defending from set pieces needs to improve. It's so sad, that I don't get excited whenever we have corner kicks.(Was shocked at the S'land equaliser, didn't expect it). We take more than 10/game, yet nothing happens. I don't want to be negative today jare. Hoping some of the new boys step up tomorrow. We need the 3 points badly!!! |
Raimond:The results matter more now(we'll return to sexy footie after we've won the league ) and I sincerely hope these english refs have rested well during the intl break.Hoping for an error free weekend also! ![]() |
pafun:LOL ![]() |
@ Cesc 04 Add Bendtner to that list also. He picked up an ankle injury. Looks likely that Djorou will pass his fitness test. He should step in for Gallas while Eboue should hold forth at Right Back. Abou Diaby returns to the squad while Vela( even if he arrives 10 minutes to the start of the game) should be on the bench. Thank God, the injuries are not long term. .hopefully ![]() |
