@ Loyiks I think Debo will calm down sooner or later. I had an instant headache after the Spiuds match which didn't clear until the wee hours of the morning. ![]() I had never seen such before!!! I still insist it cannot be over. It's going to be a tough season for everyone. Look at the bottom 3 as we speak. They are Wigan, Bolton and Spurs. These are teams who can beat any of Liverpool,Chelski,Manure or Arsenal on a good day. All the promoted teams have done well so far. Where are the easy games, if I must ask anyone. ![]() Read Fergie's comments about Hull and you will know, he expects no complacency from his side else disaster looms. Chelsea is playing S'land.Ask LFS, he's not underrating them.Do that at your own peril!!! How about L'pool, they are playing Spuds.Benitez will be weary.Anything can happen! So, where are the easy games? No team has kicked into gear yet, winning every game in style and from what I have seen of EPL teams this season, IT WILL BE TOUGH. I am taking it game by game. Let's see the response against Stoke. Again, it will be foolhardy to underrate them. They held L'pool at home(Anfield) and they were well organized on the day. And don't forget Delap who can throw the ball into the 18 yard box from the centre circle .The twist and turn could continue again this weekend. Full concentration is required for the Stokes match. Go gunners! |
@ Emperoh I don't understand your question. What Ade said is what all gooners felt after that match. YOU CAN'T WIN THE LEAGUE PLAYING LIKE THIS I don't see how it can be a nail on Arsenal's title coffin!!! |
ndumart:I agree with everything written except the highlighted. Man U certainly dropped more than two points at home. The loss to man city on Busby babes anniversary comes to mind. Although, I think, they dropped the least points at home last season |
rasputinn:Heard of this yesterday, but I doubt if there is any truth. AW, however, is not known for selling players in January(Diarra was an exception though). Meanwhile, I heard there was a bust-up in the dressing room after the Spuds game. I wonder what happened. ![]() Who punched who? How do you say F@#k you in French? Were boots thrown at players?(Fergie style)? ![]() I am sure details would soon come out. Maybe , when Eboue comes out with his auto-biography ![]() |
@ Sauron. Great posts ![]() Not necessarily because of the encouraging words, but it was 100% true. What's a 6 point advantage in October? It's better to end well, than start well. Thank God, these mistakes are being seen now, because there's time for correction. A few additions in January and we should be allright. Frankly, let's take a look at all our rivals. Which of them has been firing on all cylinders. Which has won all its matches? For 'pool, they've been comeback kings. Manure has not been excellent in all its matches and Chelski also drew with Spuds at home and lost to L'pool ![]() I expect this season to be tighter than the last. There certainly isn't any Derby County this season. ![]() Like Sauron said, the EPL is a soap opera, expect more twists and turns. Arsenal's problem is one of being Complacent. Fab4 said before the match, that our ladies would beat spuds(such arrogance). Heard AW was vividly angry at the shambolic display. He should go beyond that. I wonder who our defensive Coach is. We have defended horribly this term. We don't go in for the tackles and we don't close opponents down. It's as if some Arsenal players are afraid of being beaten. Not good enough ![]() It's really too early to give up. It's disappointing to finish a game 4-4 when you were leading 4-2 in the 89th minute, but sh*t happens. Manure lost twice to Man city last season and still won the league! |
nyabinghi:I should have listened to Loyika. You must be the greatest idiot the world has ever seen I would never reply you again, else, I become a retard like you. Gosh, my 5 year old nephew knows more footie than you. a team drew 4-4 and you said it went down. I even brought out your post to show how much of a liar you are. It's a shame. I have never seen someone so dumb!!!!! |
Let me remind the pathetic gunners on nairaland that it takes a day to break a jinx. It took liverpool 92 years to record a win over united in the fa cup. It took city 31 years to record a victory at OT in feb this year.It took chelsea 86 games to lose at home in the EPL. Arsenal are going down tonight. Gomes,Hutton,Assou Ekotto,Zokora,King,Dawson, lennon, bent,Huddlestone, payluchenko, modric will do it tonight. Thnk your stars bale won't be playing. Harry Redknapp is very good at rescue missions Nyabinghi wrote the above. What does it mean? That we would lose to Spurs, Isn't it? And he's claiming that he said we won't beat Spurs. Not only does this guy goofs, He's also a Pathetic Liar Get this into your thick head, our record against Spurs is still intact. |
Cristalz:I am much better today. Yesterday night was awful. I felt like smashing bottles !!! ![]() |
presido1: ![]() |
tkb417:Why won't you guys post here? Its turn by turn na Shei, Its your turn now. When it's our turn very soon (Nov 8 ), I will be in the mancs thread from morning till night!!!!No problem with Nya. Just want him to get facts right before running to this thread. Stokes is away!!! and I am scared of that Delap guy He 's the only footballer I know who is more useful with his hands than his legs. Dude can throw inside the net from his own half ![]() |
nyabinghi:Look at this SLOW COACH. I don't have problems with chaps coming here to poke fun when we slip up(I do the same also and relish it) But don't come and spill falsehood here. It's irritaing and makes u look like a complete butt hole. You goofed yesterday and today. We can safely predict that unless a miracle happens, u are gonna do it again tomorrow. ![]() It's disgusting!!! |
doncaster:You are right!!!! I can't agree more with you. You are the only one smelling it!!! ![]() |
@ Slimghost Just like you said, its too early to conclude. It was two points thrown away. Like someone said, it wasn't a performance required of Potential Champs. On a brighter note, the result moved us to 3rd while Spurs are still leading from the rear ![]() |
nyabinghi:@nya-idiot You are a disgrace to scummie land. Can u see that none of them ever try to rescue you. ![]() Why? Because you are dim and no sane person will want to associate with a nit-wit!!! We should know it's a mistake. ![]() It wasn't a typo. It was gibberish Why not think, do your research very well, let your saw-dust brain communicate with your fingers before you write on the Gunners thread. On the scummie thread,(or anywhere) u can write rubbish and spew nonsense for all I care. But please, when you are here, furnish us with facts and not utter baloney. Olodo. |
dayokanu:Of course, Dayo, I knew the match was at Highbury, but our football Don here claimed it was at the Emirates.Olodo |
nyabinghi:@Nyabinghi And you call yourself a soccer don. Please, give us links or enlighten us more on the match between manure and arsenal at the Emirates when the scores ended 4-2 ![]() As per the 2ng thing I highlighted.Do you remember this ![]() Manure led arsenal twice at the Emirates last season and twice we fought back and drew 2-2. Two seasons earlier, Shrek thought he had won the match when he scored, until RVP equalised in the second half and TH14 scored the winner in injury time. Let me end by saying. Scummie, check your facts before you post drivel on this thread. |
tkb417:@tkb417 Do you know the funny thing ![]() Arsenal will never give up a 2 goal advantage against manure. We are always charged up whenever we play you guys. Remember in 06/07 when we sent a whack team to O.T(no Henry,RVP and some other guys) and we won 1-0? Underrate Arsenal on Nov 8, at your own peril .8th November is just a few days away!!!!!!!!! |
Raimond:I am with you on this one. Many of the frustration being poured out here is because we had no business losing that match. We are becoming too complacent especially against miniature teams.(Watch us turn the heat when we play a top side) At 4-2, we grossly underrated Spurs and they, themselves, looked like they had accepted defeat. Gosh, by now, we should know it's not over until it is over. Let's see what pans out. I just hate having to watch rival's matches and be praying they drop points!!! |
Shocking Display. 2 points literally thrown out of the window. Same stuff happenned at WHL two seasons ago when Jenas stole in around the 94th minute to earn a 2-2 draw. Why can't this team learn ![]() |
@ Nyabinghi or whatever. I am suprised you didn't put pathetic there again. I am not in the mood to trade insults with you this evening. I just wish you willl do humanity a favour and crawl back to where you are coming from. My bad though about thinking you thought Dk was the don of footie, but learn to space ur words when typing. You, the Don. What do you know? Except describing everything as pathetic ![]() Go back to your damn thread and pose as the DON. Don, my foot |
nyabinghi:Reh Reh Reh Reh. That's what you guys always say. ![]() Do some simple Maths. ![]() Count how many gunners/ day on your thread and compare to the number of scummies that infilterate this thread every day. And this word pathetic, don't you think you are writing it too often? So for you, your 'don of footie' is DK .End of Discussion(EOD). |
Many times, I still wonder why these scummies are so obsessed about Arsenal and this thread. Two of them are here writing balderdash about Arsenal. One is even talking about the game on 8th November and mentioning a player that should have been loaned out to Wolves a long time ago ![]() I will get to know one day why they worry so much about us!!! |
nyabinghi:You must be very silly to come on our thread and call us pathetic ![]() nyabinghi:Do you know that I was about taking you seriously, until I saw what was highlighted ![]() Maybe you should try comedy, you might make a success! Don't worry, Those set of players too would beat you at O.T ![]() |
nyabinghi:Typical scummie ![]() And warped Scummie reasoning. ![]() Loss of Penalty at the Emirates ![]() Which match are you even talking about ![]() Keane lost a penalty at the Emirates in the league. Almunia saved it and Bendtner went on to score the winning goal,a few seconds after coming in. Dude, we won that match, so I can't understand your dumb theory of escape. We 'doubled' Spuds last season and the only loss was the CC loss to them at Sh*t heart lane. Another scum logic. If Hull can beat us, why not Spuds. Hell, Everyone should beat us then!!!! Instead of you to go and worry about Zola and co(Zola says he doesn't fear Manure),you are here trying to be a Lilywhite. ![]() |
Cristalz:@ Cris Seriously speaking Arsenal, probably, has the most loyal fans, not just on NL, but maybe, in the world. It has even been said a lot of times on Nairaland. Some ever think there's an evil spirit at Ashburton Grove that jazzes the Gooners Picture Manure not winning anything since May 2005. All those your friends that get high tallking about us would have gone underground. The Chavs didn't win anything last year and some of their fans are disappearing. For me, It's the Arsenal all the way.I can't imagine rooting for any other club!!! |
ndumart:With Manure below us of course, probably battling relegation ![]() |
nateevs:Which Success? There are no prizes for being 3rd on the table as at 28/10/08 ![]() Or, are there ? ![]() Anyways, It's all mind games. When Hull wants to play manure, watchout for what he'll say!!! ![]() Let's say what happens on the footie field. |
Now, this was too funny ![]() This was the last time the spuds have beaten Arsenal away from the lane in the league, 11/05/1993 , Arsenal 1 - 2 Spuds * Microsoft unveils Windows NT. * Arsene Wenger was in Monaco learning his trade. * Theo Walcott was 4 * Meatloaf said he would do anything for love but he wouldn't do that for seven weeks * Bill Clinton took his position in the clearly far too comfortable surroundings of the Oval Office * Actor Brandon Lee is accidentally killed during the filming of The Crow. * Prince changes his name to a symbol and comes to be referred to as "The Artist formerly known as Prince". * 'Jurassic Park' and 'Indecent Proposal' were the major films to hit cinemas during the year. * Czechoslovakia broke apart to become the Czech Republic and Slovakia. * The World Wide Web is born at Cern. * Marseille won the Champions League. * Sonic the Hedgehog was introduced to the world for the first time. Culled from bbc.co.uk |
nyabinghi:Too early to be writing under the influence of 100% Ethanol. Don't you think? ![]() |
ndumart:Someday,Maybe in 10-12 years time. All records will be broken one day afterall ![]() |
Question: The following ex Lilywhites managers have something in common. 1.) David Pleat 2.) Glenn Hoddle 3.) Jacques Santini 4.) Martin Jol 5.) Juande Ramos What is it ??Answer: They all laboured in vain to beat Arsenal in the Premiership League Hopefully 'Dirty Harry' will soon join the list. ![]() |
Just a little digression. Heard Maradona looks set to become Argentina's coach What do you guys think? International Football might become very interesting. Diego may become the 'Mourinho' of International footie. Tonight's game ![]() It will be 3 points to the Arsenal. I don't see Spuds taking anything out of Emirates |
