I said so yesterday that I wouldn't be surprised if we got a win over Villa
Let's be frank, we haven't won there in about 3 seasons.
last time we won there was in the 07/08 season.
Chamakh is on double figures and it's not yet December shocked shocked shocked
The 1st goal scored by Villa had Carew blocking Fab's view, though Clichy shoulda just closed down Clark
These guys should take a Cue from Wilshere who is always aware that the man with the ball is the most dangerous man and you TACKLE him.
Second goal was as a result  of our usual failings of not knowing how to defend a set piece
Arshavin gave us a glimpse of how he played when he joined!
all in all. . .  a good win
Wigan next, then Fulham follows. . .
Last season i would have been comfortable. . . . but
I AM SCARED, they are home games.
Can we play all our matches away? grin

I heard AW watches Arsenal matches on his DVD after games.
I am sure the supplier 'edits' the DVDS to suit AW's philosophies grin.
All the obvious defficiencies are blotted out, while highlighting only the 'tippy tappy'.
Just before Eboue was 'physically assaulted' by that Braga player, they(Braga) were already coming out slowly from their defensive shells and 'testing' us.
It was only a matter of time before they went for the Jugular
FFS, we needed just a draw from the match and we saw them beginning to come out of their defensive shells and WE CONTINUED PLAYING A HIGH LINE.
Do these guys learn anything relating to defending in training?
Do they just play 'five a side', listen to Eboue's jokes and get some massage in training?
If AW sef dey blind to reality, What is Pat Rice still doing by his side?
Dude(Rice) cuts a pathetic picture when we are losing, looking like a deflated tyre smiley
I never want to speak about individuals, but. . . . we may have done much better if nasri or AA23 had started
And does anyone miss Abou Diaby?
At least he woulda provided us with some entertainment by 'drimbling like Zidane' grin
BTW, stone cold penalty for Vela, but. . . . . It doesn't mask a useless performance.

RVP won't get any game time. . . .he's 'resting' after playing less than 30 mins on Saturday. undecided

Dunno about you, but Wenger is doing some very strange things at the moment.
There are some stories that AW is annoyed that RVP hasn't hit top form again after his ankle injury.
So he's leaving him behind to work on his fitness in readiness for Saturday and beyond.
No point taking him there to sit on the bench
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by HNIC(m): 1:39pm On Nov 23, 2010
No Arshavin, RVP and Clichy . . . . . all left behind
Cesc most likely to start from the bench
This Hamstring is really getting worrisome
Bendtner most likely to start.

The way people scream Chamakh on this thread will make an onlooker think we are talking about Messi. Make una no let me commit sin o! grin grin

What's with the Chamakh this Chamakh that?? That guy is at best Bendtner part 2! What does he do better than Bendtner apart from pass the ball and maybe shows more commitment? I can almost even confidently say Bendtner is a better header.

Ive tried not to be too hard on him because he bailed us out when all our strikers were injured but abeg, let's play Bendtner in the next few matches and when RVP is totally match fit, bench the two of them. What nonsense!
I am surprised you are jumping on this bandwagon also.
No one has declared Chamakh the new Ronaldo or Messi. . .
But take a close look at his contributions.
If you know the Gaffer very well, he has never bought a striker before and throw him to the 'deep end' immediately.
Chamakh ordinarily shouldn't be playing games yet, he's only been playing because RVP and lately Bendtner, prefer the treatment table to playing on the field.
He's just one goal short of entering double figures in his debut season.
Like I have said, I will judge him only at the end of the season.
For now, dude is not doing bad at all.
He only needs to be more selfish in front of goal and I know he will get better.
I am tired of analysing last saturday's game, the whole team 'self destruct'.
All these talks about if Bendtner or Djorou had played, bla, bla, bla
Was Bendtner not at Shakhtar the other night?I doubt even if he had a shot on goal!(ok, he's coming back from injury, abi)
and suddenly Djorou is the next best thing after Chocolate.

This guy amazes me.
Go to your thread and see who and who are wiping the floor with Chamakh. It's only a hard-head who thinks Chamakh had a great game.
Who cares about great games?
Like strikers always have great games
He's paid to score goals and he has. . . .
If you have a problem with that, go and jerk off in your cup of tea
StarBoard:
Table-soccer expert. It's what you get when you lie with dogs.Fleas.
Who is asking you to do all that?
You're through in front of goal as a striker, you're looking for who to pass to.Elementary things like shooting escaped a supposed striker.
And you want me to believe his wages for the week shouldn't be siezed.
Go on and praise your striker for scoring a tap-in.He has a magnificent game.Bravo to him.
Now I seem to get the gibberish you have been spewing
Chamakh is not supposed to miss in front of goals. . . . he should be scoring all the time
Walahi. . .u be proper ode
Mention strkers that haven't missed in front of goals before.
He's watched one Arsenal match for once and he is writing garbage
StarBoard:
I don't understand all the crap you've been blabbing.
Maybe I should break it down in sign language for you to understand.
I only said Gallas is a better central defender than all the clowns you have masquerading as CBs.Whether he had a bad game against Inter (which he is entitled to,by the way-something you're way too ignorant to accept) is not the point, and stating the obvious is not making excuses for him.
No matter how you try to spin it,you can't change the fact.
Just because he left you doesn't mean you and your gang have to be bitter towards him.
I won't debate this with you again,because I'm tired of repeating myself.If you don't like it,take a leak in the nearest bottle,abeg.
You know little or next to nothing about footie.
We will be bitter towards Gallas, becos he joined the Spuds, You nitwit
Why do Manure fans hate Tevez and boo him, was it not because he Joined Citeh?
Talk of being bitter,When Eduardo came back to the Emirates, was that bitterness shown?
Hleb was there a few weeks ago, was that bitterness shown to him?
You are clueless dolt abeg
StarBoard:
Clubs scrambling for his signature. . .Yeah he ended up with the wankers at WHL,who have beaten you twice in a row in the league.Including a humiliating defeat at your place after being down by 2 goals at half time.
And spuds are how many points above us?
and You can't point out that in between the 2 league defeats,we hammered them 4-1 at home to dump them outta Carling Cup.
StarBoard:
A Capitulation is a capitulation.
Indeed.
One ended up with one point and the other ended up with none.
I watched the Newcastle game.Newcastle were miles better than your mickey mouse side and were full value for the three points. You're just being a billy-goat by not accepting the fact.Only a fool would even debate that Arsenal deserved anything from that game.I see you want to be called one.
Why didn't you include the West brom game too?
You must have soggy pap in your brains.
Did you hear me say anything about Birmingham and Chelsea game? You are a consumate to even draw the comparison.
Omo, u no get brains at all
Or you are incapable of reading.

I compared the newcastle game to the chelsea/birmingham game, not you,
We hit the bar twice in the game and  had greater possession, newcastle sat back defending truout and u come here talking thrash.
I didnt mention the WBA game, because we started playing when it was only 15-20 minutes left.

StarBoard:
.Ol boy If you want to insult me,curse my mother instead of saying I hate Arsenal.
What do I stand to gain by hating a club with no winning mentality of any sort, both on the players and manager, filled with over-rated pieces of excuses for players, and an empty cabinet?
What does your side have that we don't?
Silly talk.
Check out the highlighted. . . . .
Look at yourself in the mirror and wonder why you spend 90% of your time talking about such a team!!!
Note that in my arguements, I have only mentioned Manure as a team and not set out to attack individual players

No, he's supposed to take the ball from fabianski, dribble 11 spudians and with his back towards Gomes' goal flip the ball over for an overhead kick and score. . . .  cool
I ask u again, what's a strker's job, ODE
StarBoard:
Whether you like it or not, whatever rubbish you keep saying about your mickey mouse team,Gallas is far better than any central defender on your books right now.He played better than those two clowns you played on Saturday combined. And in general, overall,we shouldn't be debating this fact unless you're really slow.
The Inter game? Are you a muppet?A game in which they were down by one man as early as the ninth minute?
Why are you giving excuses for Gallas?
Thought in your opinion, he is the best there ever was
So, being one man down as early as 9th minute made him to be skinned by Inter players anyhow
Abeg go siddon!
If Gallas was so good, why weren't many clubs scrambling for his siggy
How did he end up with the wankers at White hart lane?
StarBoard:
Typical of Arsenal fans, they never give credit to former players who do well outside Arsenal.Brainlessness at it's height.I mentioned Vermaelen (or whatever the spelling of his name is-irrelevant to me,you I-T-K) because he's the best you've got,not because he's better than Gallas.
Typical of scummies and the anti-arsenal brigade.
Only realising a player is good after he's left Arsenal.
When they are there, they are labelled useless, hopeless, worthless.
Bet when Senderios starts playing again, You will spew the same crap, that he should never have been sold,he is better than Tony Adams at his prime, bla, bla, bla

StarBoard:
.Yeah, but we DREW the game, instead of LOSING it in your case. Two very different things,my dear deluded fellow.
So, you celeberate draws at your end now,abi
A capitualtion is a capitulation
Spuds had 45minutes to turn it around,Everton had  just 3-4 minutes
Do you know its better to have 1 win and a loss from 2 games, than 2 consecutive draws?
StarBoard:
Comparing our situation with games that you never looked like winning or were unsure of winning in the first place is plainly daft. . .West Brom took a 3-nil lead at your place.Newcastle outplayed you at home and you have the guts to even compare.
Dude, you started the foolish arguement in the first place, by saying if you had won all your games, you will be far ahead.
Of course from what u wrote, you only hear the results, u dont watch the matches.
Only an  will say Newcastle outplayed an Arsenal, when they had just one chance at goal. . .or what's the meaning of outplayed?
I am sure you would say Birmingham outplayed Chelski also

(1) Abramovic remains part of the club and you profit from his finances yet always have to contend with his interference and hence cause instability on the management side of your club or

Yesterday, I admitted I didn't watch the match.
Having watched it now, I agree with AW,It's hard to explain what happened.
We were in control all thru the first half and it looked like Spuds were in for some thrashing.
Even in the second half, we had decent chances at 2-2 to win the game.
LK5 has to work on his finiahing or else he shouldn't be in the box for corners or freekicks.
He missed from 4 yards again just like he did against the Chavs!!! shocked shocked shocked
However, i love Gooners and the 'blame game' after a loss.
If it's not MC29 who should score every time he has the ball, it is LK5 who has 'bad luck' whenever he plays for us. huh huh
A Manure fan here even suggests we should have bought VDV and all our problems would have been solved. shocked shocked
