Akolawole:
@HNIC
Please ignore wikipedia as a source. My professor once threatened me saying '' Kola, a good academician dont befriend wikipedia .''
Maybe we should throw an open debate on Emenalo. BolaOni, DrKit, Jackal could be of help as well. I didnt want to research on him but sit down and think of his playing days for eagles. One thing is sure, he has NEVER command a regular shirt for Naija.
grin grin grin
I had to call a well known sports journalist to enquire about this Emenalo
The bros told me that Emenalo was in and out of the Eagles around the mid 80s and wasn't sure how many caps Emenalo had for the Eagles.
He went on to confirm the uproar I spoke about earlier, regarding his(emenalo) inclusion in the 1994 team when he didn't play in any of the qualifiers.
I asked him for newspaper write ups,if he still has, so I can paste here for my NL friends. grin
Emenalo's first cap for the Eagles was not at the 1994 world cup.

Gone are the days when Arsenal won the North London derby just by showing up.
At least the last two results in the league between the sides tell me that. . .
Dude,
It's your turn to laugh now.
I hope when next manure stutters and we are on your board
You will also find it as funny.
Remember we dumped Spuds outta the carling cup at Whyte Hart Lane

Not able to watch the match
Had to be somewhere to earn my 'bread and butter' grin
However, I followed the match via LIVE SCORES
As soon as I refreshed on my phone and saw Bale had pulled one back
Something told me we were gonna lose.
Just going through the highlights now and wondering what was Cesc thinking by punching the ball
Remember he got away with it against Liverpool at home, last season, in the last minute.
Dude should never be part of the wall again please.
I will try and watch the full match later on
BUT. . . . come on , . . . . . Winning the league is impossible with this Jekyll and Hyde performances.

He never played for SE in the mid 80s

the first time he did was under Clemence-US94 party
@tkb417
How much do you want to bet?
Mike Emenalo played in the mid 80's for the Eagles.
Let me quote from his wiki page
Emenalo won 14 caps for Nigeria and played in the 1994 FIFA World Cup, missing the first game through injury but then played against Argentina and Greece before Nigeria were knocked out by Italy.
Now, if he had 14 caps for naija and three were at the World Cup in 1994, when did he cop the remaining caps?
At least, we all know Emenalo 'disappeared' after the cameo at the World Cup.
It's like saying Okey Isima was making his debut for the Green Eagles in a world cup qualifier against Tunisia in 1986 or Rufai's 1st outing for the nation was in 1988 nations cup in Morocco.(They both played for Nigeria years before then)
E don tey when we dey follow this game called football ooh(esp Green abi na Supa Eagles) grin
Where Akola and co when you need them?
Emenalo could not have made his debut for the eagles at 29(official age).

Emenalo was not a new person at the 1994 world cup oooooh.
In fact there was an uproar when Westerhof included him in the World Cup bound squad as
The local press wondered why Ugbade was left out and someone considered 'washed up' was included
Ugbade was on course to become the first player to play U-17,U-20 and then play for the Eagles
Emenalo had played for the Eagles earlier in the mid 80s when the Eagles were very very average

This was after playing for Arsenal since 2004 wasn't it?

Compare this with 8 goals and 5 assists for Chamakh in all competitions, with Fab4 missing about half the games.

You are chatting rubbish. This result did occur because you kept saying 5 points is nothing. If you read my posts well, it wasn't about 5 points. It was about Arsenal. I even said if you were 10 pts ahead, you still won't win the league. So where from the issue of 5 pts. You won't see me over at the Mancs thread talking about a 5pts gap.
If you had read my post well, I wasn't talking about you in particular.
It's the majority of you chavs.
10 points ahead and we won't win the leaguehuh??
Ok, let's wait and see
You know  what they call people who think status would always remain the same?
nateevs:
You'll come to SB, get a humiliation and the cycle continues.
So, you can't lose at SB. . . and win the league?
nateevs:
5 pts to 2pts. . . Who cares? Y'all will start blaming flappy-arm-ski for another howler. "Oh! We could have been 1 pt ahead of Chelsea now".
Wait until that time comes and lead the noise making on our thread.
For now, who do we blame for the gangrape at SB?
~Ray Wilkins departure?
~Cashley's extreme daftness?
~Lampard,Terry(fake injury),Alex and Benayoun's absence?
~Sturridge's absence?
~Malouda's removal?
~Time change in UK? grin

MC29 is still trying to get to grips with the EPL - give him time and his on the ground finishing will improve as well.
I have quit debating this issue after I explained that If we had judged Henry based on his first 13/14 games for Arsenal, we would have sold him in the next transfer window that came along.
Here is a player who is the leading scorer in his debut season, when he shouldn't even be getting games.
I will only judge MC29 at the end of the season.
Remove his contributions so far and I wonder where we would be!

My best move of yesterday was when Prince Nas took the ball from around the centre circle, proceeded on a 'Theolike' run,
Went round Jagielka like he was a Non-living thing and his shot was only stopped by a briliant effort by Howard.
Fantastic!
