nateevs:@Nateevs I know you typed this immediately after the match ![]() Game of Ifs. . . , . . . . . If Chamakh had headed home 34 seconds into play(Cech didn't have his angle covered) A greater if. . . .If LK6 had not headed over the bar from 2 yards out Both teams had chances and Chelsea utilised theirs in full. Hence the 2-0 scoreline If you are honest with yourrself, the game was different from the 2 games played last season, where Arsenal were simply woeful Arsenal weren't just 'pass and pass' |
edoyad:I beg your pardon! After only 7 weeks ![]() Come on Maybe you should watch yesterday's match again |
7 points gap at this stage of the race may not be mountaneous but it's still quite some ground. Now our failure to see out that match against Sunderland and beat Westbrom has come back to hurt us.
@kay True talk If we had taken 6 points from the S'land and WBA games, we woulda been just 1 point adrift! About the game! One team took their chances well, the other didn't.(No player should head over the bar from 2 yards out,un4givable!) One team also defended as a unit and suffered cramps (and some chavs felt it was an easy win,go n ask your chav players)The other team didn't defend as a unit. Hopefully,TV5,Theo,RVP,Bendtner,Gibbs etc should be back from injury after the intl break! |
I love reading Dudu vs Debo. Makes interesting reading. Dudu's got a point: We need Arsenal to be self sustaining and there for the long term and not go into crisis a la 'Pool, Pompey, Leeds etc. I won't like to tell my child "I was once an Arsenal fan' and he asks me:'So, Dad you were once a Cricket fan ![]() Meanwhile, Debo's got a point also:The fans are suffering. We need to win trophies, like we've been doing before.Whatever we say about the team won't matter much until it translates to success on the pitch. nikkykay:I am more concerned about how we will defend at the bridge on sunday. I think Kos and Squillo would get the nod. The DMs would be very critical. They should play like warriors They have to cut off the supplies to Drog and Anelka. What kills us against the Chavs is lack of concentration. We often start well, create loads of chances and suddenly we think we are Brazil of 1970 ![]() Then, a single player lets his man stray. . . and wham, boom. . .a goal is scored against us. We have the players to get a win at the Chavs, but would we concentrate throughout? I don't know! To your question: I will rather Almunia. One hit song doesn't make you a legend. |
Stumbled on some interesting facts about Andrei Arshavin Pretty impressive for a player Arsenal fans label as 'very lazy' A luxury player? Whatever the cost, he's good value: In his 64 games for Arsenal, Arshavin has contributed 23 goals and 23 assists, including five of each in his nine games this term, and four goals and nine assists in ten Champions League appearances Wow! |
This is getting ridiculous! This story gat me laffing ![]() Contrasting accounts of the drinks, or lack of them, given to firefighters is the latest unlikely battleground between warring Manchester clubs, United and City. City are claiming firemen who had just spent a number of hours putting out a considerable blaze next door to United's Carrington training ground were told they would have to pay for the drinking water the crew had requested following their thirsty work. The light blue version is that the firemen then knocked on the door of the neighbouring City training ground, where they were given bottled water and a crate of energy drink Lucozade for free. And City have a letter from the Trafford fire service thanking the club for their hospitality. United, who say the fire was put out with water supplied from a bore hole in their grounds, insist they gave the firemen a free crate of water and also have a thank-you note from the fire crew. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-1316311/Charles-Sale-Manchester-United-neighbours-City-blazing-row.html |

debosky:Trust naah I can imagine him saying it purposely in a thick French accent. 'I told you he was world class' |
Can Song just stay behind and defend His offensive skills is beginning to annoy me! |
Fabianski for President!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope he didn't smash his elbow |

Now Arshavin is missing penalties |
AW is a genius He bought Chamakh to cop penalties This must be number what? |
See support. They haven't stopped singing/chanting since the first half |
follypimpi:you can say that again! I would actually like to see Gibbs on sunday against the Chavs and not Clichy |
jalether:It's prediction and analysis that was asked. Talking about hopeless, our form in the last 2 matches are better than yours You've lost 2, we've won 1 and lost 1(Never mind the opposition )nikkykay:Don't worry dear, It's one of those bleeps. Better suffer it now than later on. The Arsenal to shut them up tonight |
debosky: ![]() debosky:haba Debosky Are you by any chance calling Monsieur Wenger a liar ![]() Almunia may be really injured oooh, he smashed his elbow while saving the penalty. Watch the beginning of the 2nd half again and check him exeercising the elbow joints. I am not making excuses for him ooh, he should have told the manager he couldn't continue. At this stage, I wouldn't mind seeing Eboue in goal, who knows He could do better than the lot we have. . . . . ![]() |
oyb: ![]() That was harsh! |
yousouph:hehehehehe From frying pan to INFERNO With Almunia in goal,B.P is still steady With Fabianski. . . . Please, watch on my behalf. . . I will watch replays later. Why can't Fabianski develop a nasty headache, so severe that he will be out for weeks. Manone and Szczesny can't be worse than Fabianski ![]() |
ice234:Tell them oooh Burnley beat manure last season. where are they? |
ice234:Thought you were making fun of everyone, wetin do ur team yesterday? |
Eastbay:Hehehehehe See who is talking about getting personal on issues. Let's have people vote about that, in here. Like I said, carry your 'scummielike' arguement out of this place. Your team hasn't performed any better anyways, shipping in goals like no man's business. Just see how you kept silent about the rubbish you spewed on what I said on Almunia! Abeg, free the space here and limit your narrowmindedness to your thread! |
