It's easier for Lawal to return to Nigeria and play because he started from here and Dear Lord, do you know how old Lawal is? Shittu didn't play in Africa and will most likely never return here. His agent would work out something for him. Shittu isn't the worst in the EPL. I see so many defenders in 'smaller' clubs in the EPL that he is much better than. I have watched the Blackeye Rovers game again and Truth Be told Apart from that goal scored by Diouf I will give us a score of 8/10 in defending as a unit. Mark my words. Not many team will survive the kind of area bombardment we went through on saturday. The long throws by Pedersen, Goalkicks/freekicks by Robinson and Corner kicks. I think we can only get better. We need to defend more as a unit and close down spaces more often. If we do that, we can even have Eboue in goal |

To other things. Today is the last day of the transfer window and all sort of rumours on the net. Almunia, Fabianski,Manone out Schwarzer,Given,Stekelenburg in. AW knows that Goalies win you league and is set to give all three contracts. Schwarzer will play in the league,Given in FA cup,Stekenlenburg in the Milk Cup. What is it with Arsenal fans sef? All through last season, everyone felt we had mugs in goal and not goalies and they should both be offloaded. All summer, we craved for a new goalie and some even suggested goalies who did well in just 1 or two world cup games! Now, after Almunia's name was chanted by Gooners on saturday and with tears in his eyes, he threw his jersey and captain arm band to them, there is a complete reversal. On the Chamakh issue, I just laugh. How do you judge a striker after 3 league games? HENRY,yes THIERRY HENRY did not score a goal till the 13th/14th match.
