Job Brief
Sanmiz Farms is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our farm in Ekiti The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing farm activities to ensure maximum productivity, profitability, and sustainability.

Location: Ekiti State, Nigeria
Department: Operations
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:
• Analysing existing operations, crops, staff, and financial documents and recommending improvements.
• Monitoring staff, crops, and equipments, purchasing supplies, preparing budgets and reports, and ensuring maximum profit.
• Preparing plans and schedules for planting and harvesting and ensuring staff understands expectations.
• Visiting the different divisions to inspect crops, livestock, and also perform tests on soil and water.
• Ensuring seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
• Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery. • Handling the marketing and sale of products produced on the farm.
• Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
• Collaborating with senior staff to prepare budgets and financial reports.
• Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science.

Qualification/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agronomy or equivalent.
• Additional courses in business management or administration are recommended.
• Extensive experience in a farming-related field
• Management experience would be a plus.
• A passion for agriculture.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work overtime as required
• willingness to learn hydroponics and soilless agriculture techniques.
• Knowledge of seed selection
• Knowledge of Nursery management
• Knowledge of Scheduling / Crop management
• Knowledge of Harvest & post-harvest
• Be able to interact with sales team and farm staff to plan production
• Have knowledge and experience of Integrated pest management

Salary: ₦200K–₦250K a month with Free Accomodation

Ever since I got a federal government job,

my relatives have been disturbing me for money.

There must always be an issue that involves money which they want me to solve.

Recently, my mom become sick.

They are threatening me that I would be held responsible if my mom dies,if I don't make sure she is cured.

But I have taken her to hospitals, and she is trying to recover.

I do this whenever I visit home since I am working in a state far from home.

Her health challenge is due to old age.

But today my uncle called me that I should resign, get back to the village and personally take care of my mom,

failure of which,if she dies, the whole family would hold me responsible for choosing job over my mom.

Can you imagine resigning your federal job to get to the village and start staying?

The calls, the demands, the attacks are getting too much for me.

Please should I just switch off my phone so that no one can contact me?

I just need advice?

If you are due for annual leave.

Just take a leave from work in pretext that you have resigned and stay with your mum for that period.
See what will happen.
During that time, shower her all the care and love you can.
Take some time-out for family but do it with sense.

I bought a 55" Panasonic 4k UHD Smart TV and a Xaomi Millie soundbar from graceglory.

Actually i bought it for my younger brother after I'd bought mine from him earlier and my brother loved mine. So he insisted I get it from d same source I got mine.

Got it delivered to him last week and trust me, the guy not only loved what he bought, same day two of his friends told me they wanna buy from the same source i got it.

Ebeano is a scam.
I went to their store at Isaac John in Ikeja.
We were given nose masks and hand gloves before we can enter as if it was free.
They didnt allow you to come in with yours. Only to get in,finished shopping and discovered we were charged 250 naira on the receipt for handgloves and face mask.

I recently bought a 43" Sony Bravia Android HD TV from Graceglory and after over two weeks of use, I can say that I am so impressed with everything about him.
From the excellent customer service he rendered, to the quality of the TV I bought. I had a very good value for my money cos the TV is as good as new and its still giving me the 'yori yori' feeling whenever m using it.
I am well convinced that I'll still do more business with him.
