Not Correct. Taribo played for Milan in his last season in Italy. He played two seasons at Inter (97-99) but moved to city rivals Milan after the 98-99 season. He spent the 99-00 season at Milan.

One of the most intriguing transfers that i have seen in recent times is that of Taiye Taiwo to Milan. I wonder what AC Milan saw in the aging, error prone, and tactically poor left back. His transfer is an anomaly to a top club like Milan. He is not even a worthy back up to the Legendary position efficiently occupied by legend, Maldini.

While not disputing the fact that a good number of political appointees in Nigeria (not only in Kwara State) are not the sharpest knives in the drawer,there are however a few of them that know their onions and truly deserve the appointment. One of such is Bolaji Abdullahi when he was a Commissioner in the administration Bukola Saraki.

This is a CEO job of the state, not representative/agent/delegate of the state. Even Ajimobi has been Senator before.

Nigerians and international observers score Jega's INEC high not because the election lived up to expectations of free,fair,credible,and transparent, but rather because there is a marked improvement from the sham that the 2003 and 2007 elections were.Personally,i feel JEGA tried and i'll give him a passmark.The problems with elections in Nigeria are multitudinous,chief of which is that the INEC is everything but Independent.Until we have a truly independent electoral body in Nigeria,the kind of elections that we crave and desire shall continue to elude as.I also have reservations with the manner in which the contract for the printing of ballot papers were awarded,it was too secretive and reeks of some underhand dealings.it cannot be said to have followed due process at all.As to the question of whether the huge money was justified,i'll wait for an audit first and a report by Jega himself(i expect there would be a comprehensive one).

I am surprised that President Jonathan actually expects Nigerians to believe that a such a weighty statement, made by the director of his campaign organization does not have his backing. This means President Jonathan's handlers are not qualified for the job they are paid to do, and as such, they should be relieved of their positions.

But we all know better, Mr Omeri merely echoed the thoughts of President Jonathan, the PDP, and their apologists. This is typical of the smear campaign that characterize political campaigns in Nigeria, @ the expense of salient issues that are important to the people of this Country.

Lastly, President Jonathan's anti-corruption scorecard is ZERO. So why should we believe that the the first lady was properly investigated?

Mr Jonathan as once again missed a great opportunity to convince the electorates (including this writer), who are not favorably disposed to his candidacy as Nigeria's next President come may 29,2011. He has proved bookmakers', who predicted that he wouldn't attend any presidential debate right once again, just like his benefactor and godfather, the apostle of do-or-die politics, OBJ.

More worrisome and annoying is the barrage of flimsy excuses given by his aide. The excuses are nothing but an assault on the sensibilities of us all, as Nigerians. It is pertinent to ask the question; which of the debates will the President attend? Maybe one organized by his party, the PDP.

President Jonathan and his cohorts should remember that "You can fool the people sometimes, but you cannot fool them all the time". Nigerians are waiting for him @ the polls.
