What other signs do you need to see before you know she's out to destroy you the second time? She knows you have the cash to take care of her, why won't she want to blackmail you with suicide? Let her commit it, afterall you wouldn't be the one that killed her. Golddigger |

eyoniggar:Yes, Mallorca, Espanyol or even Getafe will perform better than this useless team ![]() |
Folem, i am helping you post what the spambot blocked. Quote from: honeric01 on Yesterday at 21:40:55 The congress of the Nigeria Football Federation, which is the highest decision-making organ, is the major problem. It is dominated by a power block of state football association chairmen and secretaries who have become a massive pawn. You will not win an election without them. They are 74 in number, two each from 36 states and the federal capital territory. As shown four years ago, their interest is best served by sticking together. Only 37 get to vote from the State FA's delegates. There have not been election into the other 7 members making up the voting numbers since the NPL election was annuled by arbitration but the statutes allow for appointed delegates to vote. The 7 others are: 1. The Nigerian Referees Association 2. The Nigerian Premier League 3. The Players Association 4. The Nigerian Football Coaches Association 5. The Nigeria National League 6. The Nigeria Amateur League (Div 1 & 2) 7. The Nigeria Women's League [/b] Quote This position is not lost on the outsiders, hence the call for amendment of the NFF statutes already cleverly amended two years ago to elongate the tenures of all state chairmen beyond the 2010 elections, effectively handing the crucial votes to the incumbents. NFF statutes were amended in 2008 to harmonize elections into State FA's beginning from 2010. Some State FA's tenure still have 6 months to run and some 1 more year to run. Quote This scenario played out four years ago when Ibrahim Galadima was hounded out of office by “the stakeholders” - the political party in the Nigeria Football Federation. Believe me, I witnessed it first hand from within during the 2006 elections and what a soap opera that was. It was shockingly endorsed by Urs Linsi, Fifa’s general secretary, and I had fun running as a candidate, never once believing I could win. I followed the guidelines and entered the race on the last day. In a bizarre day, I got the Lagos FA and my state FA to endorse me, and after clearing the impressive screening process, I witnessed, in three days, the marketplace and horse trading at the NFF hub Chida Hotel. On election day I did get a seat in the house and an informed perspective on the hollow ritual. It’s four years after and nothing has changed. Nothing will change. I am not surprised, nor am I disappointed, nor will I be contesting. It makes no sense even watching the proceedings. I believe that change can only come when the structure of the game is addressed from the local government level to the national level. The candidates for Elections and the delegates often call themselves stakeholders and I ask, what is their stake? This is one of the weakness of NFF Statutes, SWAN members prefer to contest elections into NFF executive board & becoming Administrators instead of the watchdog they are supposed to be. SWAN elections are riddled with just as much controversy anyway. Quote The state football associations never used to conduct elections and in fact do not exist s associations because they do not have a functional congress. The loose term football association is supposed to represent the very constituent members, which in this case should be the various elements of the game; clubs, players, coaches and district, local government, state, regional and national levels, with officials beginning from the base and working the way up the ladder. The reforms that started with the Galadima era has brought elections into State FA's. Quote Somehow, in spite of all the sembleance of disorder, the outgoing board, on the strength of achievements, will appear to have performed well despite the world cup failure. At least they qualified, which was something the previous board did not achieve. They won the Under-17 World Cup in South Korea, hosted in 2009; finished runners up, winning silver at the Beijing Olympics; won the beach soccer titles and the Women’s Under-20 Football Team came second recently in Germany. It tells you that with proper structure and the emergence of the right candidates, Nigeria has the potential to be great because of the sheer abundance of two key ingredients, passion and talent. The outgoing board was successful but the Super Eagles need to win the Nations Cup. |
Even Odegbami has also set down (heard yesterday), they were a peaceful protest organized by the ex-internationals, they marched to the Nigeria sports commission and displayed their displeasure to Patrick Ekeji and i think they want the election stopped indefinitely. |
The players contract is one of the things the new board are planning to look into and i pray they do something good with it. |
This should help you http://www.sportscommission.gov.ng/online/ |
Do you actually think any Nigerian club has a youth or feeder's team? |
Yes, we have volley ball teams in Nigeria and they are graded by their ages, are you planning to join? |
The English press are trying to have him hyped up just as they like hyping anything English, we can't afford to waste money on players again after the mistake we made with Ibra. |
Uhm 7th? well maybe it's because most Edo people prefer either to jet out of the country or stay in Edo state. |

krazynaija:This is no blind hope, it has been passed into law and Lagos state is not a state that would pass a bill and not execute it. |
