PoliticsRe: Arewa Group Condemns Northern Governors Visit To Wike by honourhim: 12:25pm On Sep 25, 2017
I feel bad about the killing of Hausa in Aba and Oyigbo. Shame on the boys that did this. God will definitely judge them.

As for the blame on Wike, I will say that Wike has been visiting the north in recent past so they should not be quick to conclude that he will not visit them again.

Ipob made some mistakes but they are not terrorists.
They should stop being too stubborn and learn to listen to advice. Nnamdi Kanu can't be on the right track all the time.
Ipob change your style.
PoliticsRe: Hating Them Will Kill Us Faster by honourhim: 9:14pm On Sep 24, 2017
Alcatraz005:
Following the killings in Aba, my views about the igbos quickly changed and it was reflected in my posts to the point where my claim of being yoruba was questioned and is still being questioned by my own yoruba brothers. A yoruba proverb says ...oju lalakan fi n'sori. It means that one has to be watchful and observant. It is not like my dislike for the igbos has changed. No, far from it. It has rather transmuted to pity and condescension. I have been following threads on nairaland and i see that the igbos keep laying claim to the land of others to the point of stating that they cannot be chased out of the land of other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria {actually true by virtue of the constitution}.

Naturally seeing those kind of statements are infuriating but i advise that we rather overlook it as it is still preferable to have the igbos around than the Hausa as the former can be contained and pushed out by the Yoruba while the Hausas are very lethal and hard to surmount. Pending when there is a peaceful separation of the country, the christian population in yorubaland still needs the igbos around to act as cannon fodder for any plans for islamisation from the north. I have done enough threads on the foregoing and i am satisfied that my point was successfully passed.

Meanwhile, on the annoying attitude of the igbos, I have come to conclusion that the igbo can never change and would continue to be hated while being the target of all our frustrations because they have a penchant for attracting hatred to themselves wherever they are in the world and are naturally full of unwarranted vain pride. There is nothing that can be done to change them. Furthermore, igbos hate igboland ---they run away from the place and leave it desolate. They have been advised countless times but they refuse to listen. They have used their trade as a veritable excuse to flee the land to the detriment of alaigbo and the igbo race. Most Nigerians have shouted themselves hoarse on the need for igbos to develop their land all to no avail. This is most unfortunate for a majority ethnic group. I am sincerely crestfallen about the situation and weary of what it portends for them as a people/tribe/race/ethnic nationality.

What is the solution to the igbo menace? The answer is just to ignore them as they are irritants who walk around with a need to be hated and maimed. I used to hate them very much before but I don't any longer,. I now pity them and don't ascribe any importance to them. Hence, i would advice other Nigerians to tone down the hate for the igbos as they would continue to annoy their hosts wherever they are. It is part and parcel of their make up as people. Hating them for who they are would cause more heart pain and hypertension for other Nigerians{It is stressful fathoming their taciturnity}. Nigerians{especially my yoruba tribe} are advised to transcribe that dislike for them to pity and aloofness/indifference when it comes to their issues. The beauty of the igbo debacle is that they can easily be whipped in line and contained when their excesses become threatening.

In the meantime, all southerners should be alert on the plans of those who are hell bent on forcing their way of life the rest of us and diluting the secularity of Nigeria.

Remember, ignore the igbos for they are inconsequential/harmless in the scheme of things in Nigeria. Selah.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria as long as it remains.
I agree with your post to some extent.
Yes igbos are stubborn, proud and chest beating. Yoruba have their faults too so no need to pretend about it.

We can't all behave the same way. Even in your family, you will agree with me that all of your sibblings dont behave the same way. One of them might be very stubborn and you will agree me that that one that is stubborn plays some good roles in the family. There are times his /her stubbornness saves the family from trouble.

Hating the igbos don't pay. Hating the Yorubas dont pay too. My problem with Hausa Fulani is their resort to blood shed at the slightest provocation. If they only fight war of words like the Igbo and Yoruba do it would ve been better.

This life is too short to waste on hating people. Anybody who wants to live all his /her life hating people can continue to his own loss..

Have you ever been to Igbo land? You think its one desert from your discription. You are wrong.

Wanderers not traders. Emeka that left ebonyi for Lagos with nothing is not a trader but a wanderer looking for greener pasture.
A reasonable person/people will always prepare for home, just like jacob. But you'll find 70% of igbos littering the nooks and
crannies of Nigeria, shouting biafra and calling others unity beggars when indeed they are the real unity beggars.
You should ask yourself
1. Why are igbos endangered specie?
(from Asia to kano to even Abia)
2. Why is the igbo language, identity and culture fast going into extinction?
Most of my igbo friends here in the west speaks fluent yoruba but understand little of igbo.
3. Why do igbos leave their land desolate and deserted only to claim the land of others?
4. Why do the world renown developers fail to develop their land?
Wanderers indeed yet they own shops in Alaba and other parts of Lagos. Making millions and building houses in their villages, training their children in school. Buying lands from Yoruba and building companies and houses. Stop disgracing yourself here abeg.
If you know they are Wanderers then send them out of Lagos. If you can't do it then shame on u.

Oga stop disgracing yourself. Fashola did not send igbos out . HE LACKED THE POWER TO DO IT. No governor can do it.
Arewa boys tried it and failed woefully so stop making useless opinion.

Any governor that is serious should go to the media and give Igbo quit notice. They know they can never do it so stop disgracing yourself. Why didnt Fashola chase the igbos in Alaba and other parts of Lagos out? Answer is - HE LACKED THE POWER TO DO IT.

stop telling Fashola what to say and how to say it
grin the guy`s defence is obviously porous. Fashola did not send igbos out. He just wanted to clear Lagos of people who are not essential to the growth of the economy Lagos and this covered people from various parts of Nigeria.
.
If the excercise was about Igbos, Fashola would ve sent all the igbos in Alaba and various parts of Lagos out. And of course he lacks the power to do it. I dont have problem with Fashola. He remains one of the best governors in Nigeria. Ambode is doing so well too. I saw the excercise as a step to make Lagos better and not meant to be an attack on any particular tribe.

Again some of the people brought back to Anambra were not Igbos.

I ve always said it that Yorubas are good administrators than igbos. Igbos are good in buying and selling business, skill work and creativity.

Your feelings about igbos doesn't matter. They dont come to your land for any other reason than to make money from opportunities which you that claim its your land cant see and are not making use of.

If you can't give them quit notice to leave your land that means you are not the owner of the land you claim to be yours.

At times I feel like strangling the entire Igbo race to death. Is it Yoruba that moved oil company to the West ? As Yoruba given one single incentive to bring or keep oil companies in Lagos rather they are being taxed heavily which should discourage their relocation to the NigerDelta but when you compare that to kidnapping / other vices in the NigerDelta you'd understand Lagos is a beta alternative.

To let you know every living Igbo dead n alive which might include your father, mother and even grand parent with you line of thought are completely insane why did Jonathan a NigerDelta president not order those companies back to the NigerDelta ? Which Yoruba president or governor ordered oil companies from the NigerDelta to the West ? You can see that that all Igbo with your line of thought/ argument which is about 95% of the entire igbo race are indeed insane.
I agree with you here to some extent. But do u want to live all your life hating igbos? Na you go lose o. Same thing with any Igbo man that wants to live all his life hating Yoruba. Just make your point forget about who to strangle because you cant do it.
