deedeedee1:Try send them back and stop ranting. You simply lack the power to do that. Let me state it boldly YOU LACK THE POWERS TO CHASE THEM AWAY. If you think you have the power then do it or remain silent and seek for constitution amendment. Nigerians stop deceiving yourselves pls. |
AndreUweh:Epic reply. They claim they own their land yet they cant chase people they dont like away from it because they lack the power to do that. Is that how to own a land? Nigeria is na wa o. |
deedeedee1:Lame reason. You have a land and you don't have the power to chase those you consider nuisance away from it? Land owner indeed. |
deedeedee1:Pls chase them away since it is your land. If you can't chase them away then it means your claim of your land is still a joke. I dont understand how you can't chase nuisance away from your land. I mean your land. Comon bro no fall my hand. |
deedeedee1:They are not in your land for any other reason than to make money. However if you don't like that then there are many things you can do to chase them away. We want them back. Pls help us to chase them away so that they can come back. ![]() |
laudate:Story story. Tell me more. Meanwhile the issues you guys are bringing in here is outside what i want to discuss. Why don't you create another thread for your usual noise making and leave this for the reason i created it pls. Must you people turn every discussion here to Igbo and Yoruba noise? I have no interest in your fight here pls. |
TonyeBarcanista:You are deceiving yourself with what you wrote there and its a pity that you are saying this just because you want to play your usual game. You well know that politics is a game of numbers and you are here telling me that Rivers people determine Rivers politics. Everyone in Rivers state determine Rivers politics. I am not even keen about the event holding in PH but you don't also have any right to tell igbos to leave PH as far as Nigeria constitution is concerned. If you want it to happen then 1. Push for constitution amendment. 2. You can also tell your people to stop selling their land to igbos. 3. Stop renting shops and houses to Igbos. 4. Give them quit notice like Arewa youths did. 5. Persuade Wike to reject the idea. (I guess you are afraid of the massive outing that the occassion will provide for Wike in terms of political campaing) . Sorry, you cant do anything than to rant here. I am not his fan but i can't allow your deceit sail through. If you cant do the above listed then keep your mouth Shut pls. You are just an ordinary e-warrior and a joke. I dont take your type seriously? |
Alariwo2:Shame on you. At first you thought you ve got a partner that will join u in your show of shame. That is what you get when u fail to engage in reasonable discussions. I didn't mention Yoruba or any other tribe here except Ikwerre and i didnt even insult them. Just a political discussion and you jumped in to make a mess of yourself. Too bad of you. |
Alariwo2:You are just making noise like children. Stop being hypocritical. The same government that gave u your boundary of your land is the same government that included the states i mentioned in Niger Delta so you are just making noise here. I will take you serious if u are able to convince the FG to remove those states from Niger Delta. For now you are an empty barel. I dont have time to waste on noise makers. If you are reasonable enough answer my points and stop disgracing yourself here. |
naija404040:The guy you replied is not "Niger Delta "(whatever that means). |
Alariwo2:Which one is Niger Delta people? The one that Imo, Abia and Anambra states are part of? Abeg make i hear better contributors. I asked questions and instead of you to keep quiet since you have no answer to give you decided to disgrace yourself. Carry on if u like. |
giftq:Oh.. Ok.. I thought i was dealing with a reasonable human being who has meaningful contributions to make. Bye.. |
giftq:Pls how does this relate to my post? How does it answer my questions there? |
The plan by Ohanaeze Ndigbo to hold the 2017 Igbo day celebration in ph has been kicked against by some indigenes of Rivers state who have some (useless) hatred on the igbos. In a radio program held to senstize the masses on the upcoming event, Some callers of Rivers state origin, especially the Ikwerre people, kicked against it with hate speech while some others welcome it. My question to those against the plan is this- 1. If you were governor Wike would you have cancelled the plan to host the event in ph knowing fully well that this people are your political ally who have given you political support in the past and present? 2. If you are an Igbo living in ph and Wike cancels the celebration would you still vote for him in 2019 and even beyond? The answer is NO. If Wike does that it will be a fatal error on his political calculation knowing very well that Igbo population in Rivers state is quite huge. 3. Immediately he does that, the APC in Rivers state will cash in on that and bash him (Wike) in the media in order to win the sympathy of Igbo voters. You people should always think before you talk in public. Wike is an Ikwerre man but cannot survive in politics with only Ikwerre people around him and i believe he understands the game. I am not his fan though and i am not an APC too but i know that he has huge supporters among the Igbos in Rivers state. The boys in Ikoku does not waste time to support him when you argue Rivers politics with them. I tried it severally and they never wanted to hear that Wike is not doing well at all so i left them. How will those guys feel if Wike reject the celebration in ph? Left with me Ohanaeze should relocate the event to another place since the hosting is rotational. It was held in Asaba peacefuly but since this people are kicking, kindly relocate. |
junketer:You are a liar. Why are you ipob like this? There are some Yorubas in this nairaland that supported you people to the extent of quareling with their kinsmen even uptill now. Out of here there are many of them. Even in the diaspora. If you want to live the rest of your life hating people then you surely may find life miserable ahead. Quit hating. Life is too short to waste in silly ventures. |
BlakKluKluxKlan:Thanks bro. I believe in growth process. The first thing we need to do is restructuring, let's see how far we can go with it before we go for Biafra and Oduduwa etc |
Danladi7:Kanu order the igbos to stop going to churches owned by Yoruba pastors. Have igbos left Deeper Life? Did Igbo leave Redeem church, Winners etc.? These churches have their branches in the south east and Igbos are attended it in huge numbers. Does this not tell you that igbos are not slaves to Kanu? And you think the bad words of one Kanu is enough to pass a judgment on a tribe/race? Its up to you. |
Danladi7:I understand your point but remember Kanu insulted those of us Igbos who are not part of his IPOB so its not a Yoruba thing. Kanu and his IPOB have their bad side but we should not allow them to put enemity amongst us the southerners. We are tired of treating the north as if they are our lords. They are not pls. Let's just dump the ugly past and more forward. |
Rizstar:It appears you are new here. Those who know me knows that i am an Igbo man. I am from Imo state. My mum is from Abia State. My wife is from Enugu. Nwokem si ebea puo you are not more Igbo than me. If you want to live all your life hating people then sorry for you. I am not a fool that will support evil because it is commited by my brothers. No way. Quit hating. |
ColonelDrake:I agree with you totally. Igbo and Yoruba are guilty of offending each other. Despite our misunderstanding over the years, we have not killed each unlike what we face in hands of the Hausa Fulani. It is obvious that the unity of the south in the event of the past few months, weeks and days has shaken the Hausa Fulani. Let's keep the unity growing because it will help balance things in Nigeria. No part of the country should be Cheated. Restructuring will help a lot. |
tsdarkside:You have just spoken like a kid so let me leave u to enjoy your fantasy while i continue to respond to those with meaningful post. Thanks |
tsdarkside:Oga i am not here to please you or anybody. I wrote my feelings which i am convinced about. Again i am not interested in your "We deltans" thing. You dont have any right to speak for Deltans. You are just speaking for yourself and that's ok for you. I have a lot Deltans here and outside here who proudly identify with Igbo. You cant claim to be more delta than them. Most of the IPOB guys are misguided elements who display hatred anyhow. I ve always condemned their attitude. Read my post, I wrote for myself. It is left for those who wants to identify with me to do so. Thanks. |
amuwo1980:Oga go thru my profile and check my past posts to clear your confusion that you are not more Igbo than me. Yea some jubilated here while a good number of them out there did not jubilate. They stood by us. Learn to be humble and stop chest beating, humility pays. Hating Yorubas cant put food on your table. Stop engaging in things that don't pay you. Hate does not pay. And if u are a Christian and you are hating people then sorry for your christianity |
Alcatraz005:Thanks for your support. We are not perfect beings. We all have our faults and we ll keep helping each other to become better. My brothers acted out of their human weakness and your brothers responded same way. Let's forgive each other and move forward. Cheers |
Trailii:Thank you my dear brother. Insult does not pay at all. God bless you |
ColonelDrake:You are right my brother. I pray my ipob brothers will understand. We need each other to move forward. We all have our bad sides but with tolerance we can move on. |
I am not an ipob member and i am not in support of some of their actions but i wish to commend our Yoruba brothers who stood by the igbos to condemn the injustice being meted on people over the years. These include some Yoruba lawyers, politicians, clergy men, traditional rulers, especially the Ooni of Ife, some Yorubas in the diaspora and technocrats etc. Also some Yorubas in this nairaland spoke against bad acts by the FG despite the quarel between some of them and ipob members. You all have done well. Let me also thank the Ijaw people of the south south and other ethnic groups of the south south who condemned the wrong acts of government. To Ipob members, pls change from some of your bad acts. Learn to listen to others and stop raining insult to other tribes or people who have contrary opinion. I still stand on restructuring of this country and not Biafra. Thanks to you all. |
