Zikist Movement's Reaction: Of course, not all Yorubas are saints just as not all Igbo’s are saints, but we must appreciate the courageous actions of people like Soyinka who went to jail for Ndigbo during the Biafran civil war; Fela who fearlessly spoke truth to power; Adekunle Fajuyi, who chose to die with his boss Ironsi in 1966 out of principle- they are many, even in everyday life- many Yorubas who have shown amazing courage.

We are currently impressed with Fayose, a man so honest that he sent Ekiti Yoruba boys to learn trading from Ndigbo. Rather than denigrate Ndigbo for their ‘success in trade’ he chose to learn from them. Kudos (for now) to Fayose.

Update: Obi1kenobi was roasted on the Nairaland thread (lol) for saying the truth but has clapped back well, even though he is wrong to call out Igbos for praising themselves (nothing wrong with Igbos praise themselves if they are telling the truth).

I ve listened to it and i must say that the guy made salient points. In my opinion, the south west should stop playing mumu to the north. They can survive without the north. Also Nnamdi Kanu's abusive strategy is a no no for me.

Osibanjo is really not acting courageously like he did the other time that PMB went for treatment. He is behaving like someone who is held hostage by a terror gang now. Too bad.

Our people should come back home and invest. Arewa youths should pls maintain their stand so as to enable our people outside Igbo land start opening a branch of their investment in the east.
Those of us at home here have been advising them in this regard over the years but they dont hear. Let the Arewa threat push them to heed to our advice.

Yoruba, Hausa & ibos, same thing, no difference. I'm allergic to crime.

But if you think all crimes are committed by ibos, so be it.

Don't allow ipob touts to drag you into nonsense. A good number of us in Igbo land have stopped arguing with them because they are so brainwashed and so abusive.

When they are on the bad side of the news they won't tell the world that they are delta or Ikwerre rather they will keep quiet and allow the world to scream Igbo but when they are on the good side of the news they quickly tell the world that they are not Igbo. Quite a shame.

Nzeogwu coup was branded Igbo coup and i ve never seen igbos denying it despite the fact that he is from Delta. I ve also not seen Nzeogwu`s kinsmen coming out to tell Nigerians that the coup was not an Igbo coup rather a Delta coup.
Such display of hypocrisy by the monarch is quite a shame.
When it is for bad they won't tell the world that they are Delta or Ikwerre and not Igbo but when it is for good they quickly deny being Igbo. Shame.
Meanwhile i am not an ipob member and i dont care about Biafra or Nnamdi Kanu. I prefer a United southern Nigeria.

I remember when he was arrested, a lot of you made noise here that he wont be released and that he will die in prison. Today he is out and walking freely and you have done nothing to him. Quite a shame on you noise makers.

Pls stop lying. If igbos teach their children to hate Yoruba why are igbos scattered in Yoruba land doing business?
Why are igbos employed in companies owned by Yorubas and why are Yorubas working in companies owned by igbos?
Why are Igbo and Yorubas inter-marrying?
Why is that both tribes quarrel without killing each other while the north kill both of us at the slightest provocation?
Forget the noise being made on social media. We love ourselves. Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB miscreants are the ones misbehaving. If he has repented, then that's good for us all. Let's move forward pls.

General Ishaya Bamaiyi (Chief of Army Staff); Nsikak Eduok (Chief of Air Staff), and Lt. Gen. Jeremiah Useni (Minister of the Federal Capital Territory). There was no Igbo man.
It was Chief Emeka Anyaoku, an Igbo man, who as the secretary-general of the commonwealth of nations, that led a protest that made the Commonwealth of Nations to rise to the occasion, and warned Abacha not to carry out his wicked act. Although he later did, the Commonwealth under Anyaoku sanctioned Nigeria.

Today, ask an Ogoni man to show you his enemy, he will point at an Igbo man.
May the spirit of Saro Wiwa, and his eight colleagues hunt you for your foolishness.. An eye opener..Paul Achalla And we said;

Kenule Saro Wiwa was the champion of that foolishness. A man educated at the famous Government College Umuahia ( Fishers) and University of Nigeria,vNsukka. He led the federal forces against the Biafrans and for his betrayal was made Administrator of South east state. He asked that Igbo properties be declared abandoned properties and be forfeited to them. He personally took over Ojukwu father's property in Port Harcourt which he occupied at a time with a certain Lt. Sani Abacha his friend and killer.

To rub in the humiliation of Igbos whom he hated so much, he wrote " Toad for Supper" which was a mockery of how they made Igbos suffer so much during the war that they fed on toads and lizards. He encouraged the Ikkwerres to deny their Igboness and assisted Elechi Amadi to invent the corruption of Igbo names by adding "r" and "y" to form jargons like Rumuokoro and Oyibo instead of Umuokoro and Obigbo. This they said is Ikkwerre a distinct language and tribe.

It is important to note that Ken Sarowiwa was not killed by his co travelers for agitating for environmental rights. Environmental rights was one of his pastimes which he used to extort money and exert influence on government and oil companies. He was killed for the murder of five Ogoni chiefs( Chief Fugbara, Kogbara Kobani et al) . These were men who were opposed to his immoral and outlandish lifestyle and actually wanted a more responsible engagement with government and oil companies.

He labelled them vultures. Masterminded and led a mob attack on these men and killed the five of them in a single day. It was a murder trial and environmental issues was not on the charge sheet. He was found guilty, convicted and hanged. His friend and collaborator in arms, now Gen Sani Abacha was the Head of state. It was not in vain that Ojukwu, (may his soul find peace), made effort to see him at Port Harcourt prison before his execution. Of course all effort to save him by the emasculated Igbos had failed. Emeka Anyaoku did his best. God bless him. Ojukwu visited him and greeted him " Good morning" in broad day light. The Igbo spirit is a forgiving one, the day the Yoruba, Efik, Ibibio, Rivers, Ijaw people will come to terms

Even the leader of the IPOB miscreants have visited Obigbo in Rivers state and other igbo land and have never mentioned your Urhobo so why are you people making noise and seeking Cheap recognition?

@OP, you are right. I believe in the unity of the south. Although i am not an ipob, I am an Igbo man, I feel Osibanjo shouldnt make a mistake of doing what the northern miscreants commanded him to do. He is not answerable to both the northern miscreants and the IPOB miscreants.
Both of them are foolish.
Let's continue to work towards a United south despite the rantings of these two gang of miscreants.

I keep saying it that Igbos are not good administrators. There is no way that Biafra will be better than Nigeria. What have our governors done to improve igbo land over the years? All the successes recorded so far is through self help.

I am not in support of Biafra. A United southern Nigeria is better for me. Yorubas may have their bad side but they are more gifted with administrative skills. Igbo administrators are rather too dictatorial and very undiplomatic due to the republican nature of the average Igbo man.
Biafra will be a country of confusion because of lack of diplomacy in the average Igbo man. Everybody will be struggling to have his way. Pride and stubborness will be here and there.. Such a country will be conclave of chaos.

Some part of south south aligns with Yoruba and some align with Igbo. There is no problem with that.
It is quite understandable because south south is made up of many ethnic groups.

Meanwhile i am not ipob member. I am just talking as an igbo man because your post is addressed to igbos. I still prefare a restructured Nigeria or United southern Nigeria.
