I know that every tribe has their negative side so no tribe can claim to be a conclave of saints. While Igbos can be said to be chest beater, Yorubas are seen as hypocritical, I still have not come to terms with why ipob miscreants are so angry with Yoruba concerning the loss of Jonathan during the 2015 election.
How well did GEJ treat Yoruba to deserve their 100 percent vote?
Again did Yoruba have any agreement with GEJ that he will get their 100 percent vote? And if not, why call them backstabbers over their choice of Buhari?

You dont know what you are saying. I did my primary and Secondary School in Abia and Imo states. I did my first degree and Masters degree at UNN. I am currently doing my PHD in the same UNN. My offices are in the South east and PH. My dad is from Imo and my mum from Abia. My wife is from Enugu.

Am an Igbo man from imo state, I believe in the Biafra struggle. My problem with the struggle is why should the igbos be trying to force the minorities on the struggle.

Please if the IPOB are not making plans of seceding without the minorities I think they should go back to drawing board and have a rethink. Trying to force the minorities to join biafra will lead to insult by other tribes if you can observe from some thread.

In one of the thread I saw an akwa ibomite spitting that the igbos are trying to force their Biafra struggle on them, to me is an insult cant we form a strong country without them, just imagine little tribe insulting the igbo nation all in the name trying to accommodate them in the biafra struggle.

Igbos in Delta are complete igbos so don't feel that your own Igbo is lesser than we in South east . If a delta Igbo commit crime, the media will call him Igbo and you won't see Igbos in south east deny the person that he is not Igbo. We do same for the Igbos in Rivers state though some of them deny being Igbo. Yet they won't deny being Igbo when their names are mentioned by the media for the wrong reason.
I honour and love Biafra but i am not for massob or ipob. The way ipob carry out some of their agitation is rather annoying. I still dont see Biafra as a haven of rest for us.

It is time for Biafrans to disengage from the politics of Nigeria that has done nothing but throw up one thief after the other. The Borno State Progressive Association (BOSPA) has on Saturday called on Igbo communities, particularly those residing in the state to come out and condemn the unlawful agitation for the creation of Sovereign State of Biafra by Nnamdi Kanu.

This is even as BOSPA strongly condemned the quit notice issued to Igbos living in Northern Nigeria by Coalition of Arewa Youths, insisting that the association is fully committed to one Nigeria and therefore disassociated itself from the ‘Quit Notice’.

This was disclosed by the Chairman of BOSPA, Ashiekh Mamman Gadai at a meeting with members of Igbo community and Igbo Welfare Association in Maiduguri, the state capital.

During the meeting which was attended by President General of Igbo Community in the state, Chief Maclaw Nwaogu, state Commissioners including that of Local Government and Emirate Affairs, Usman Zanna and Attorney General of the State, Barister Kaka Shehu Lawan, BOSPA Chairman said, the association while expressing its appreciation to governor Kashim Shettima, who in his capacity as Chairman of Northern Governors Forum was among the first to condemned the quit notice by Coalition of Arewa Youths and the foster of unity displayed by Igbo Community in the state.



He, however, said; ” We have been living peacefully with our Igbo brothers in the state and the country as a whole, and i want to call on the Igbos residing in the state to come out and totally condemn agitation for creation of Biafra by Nnamdi Kanu.

“As BOSPA, we recognize the importance of Igbos in moving our state forward, and we wish to assure Igbo Community in the state that their safety is guaranteed”. Gadai stated.

Responding, the President General of Igbo community, Chief Nwaogu thanked BOSPA for initiating the meeting on the quit notice issued by Kanu which had generated public concern all over the country.

He said, Igbos in the state have been living peacefully with one another in Borno since time immemorial, and commended governor Shettima for his effort in assisting Igbo community in the state, stressing that, none of his member will move an inch out of Borno, as Igbos will continue to contribute their own quota in moving the state forward.

In his address, governor Shettima who was represented by Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General of the state, Barister Kaka Shehu Lawal, assured Igbo communities and other people of the state of fair treatment in the discharge of his duties.

He noted that anything that would cause disunity among the people of the state which had already suffered from the hands of insurgents is highly intolerable and regretted.

Please i want to know if the north want to evict igbos from north will they ask everybody that is not from North to present there ID Card because we are from Ikwerre in Rivers state and Nigeria government recognizes us as different tribe from Igbos .I'm very worry because my brothers used there real names in all there ID cards which is Igbo names and i doubt if they north will give them chance to explain to them that they are from Ikwerre not Igbo.

If those your brothers in the north commits any crime the media will say they are Igbos and you/Ikwerre will keep silence while everybody blames the igbos but now that the north wants the igbos to go you and your brothers are looking for a way to be identified as Ikwerre. Am not a supporter of Nnamdi Kanu and his eccentric dispositions. Am not a fan of his Ipob but the manner in which igbos are treated in Nigeria makes me support the cause for a separate nation. It can be called biafra or anyother name.
There is a high level of tribalism and nepotism going on in Nigeria now by the Hausa/fulani and yorubas seem to be okay with it. Well, igbos aren't.
As I write this, there is a federal hospital in Abuja that requires the services of medical consultants but the top mgt of the hospital headed by northereners have secretly placed an embargo on employment of qualified consultants from the entire south! Many consultants from the south have gone for interviews and were rejected, secretly because they are from the south. The mgt are hoping they can get one from the north but that hasn't been easy.

I had an aunt who headed a federal govt agency, she worked her way thru the ranks to the top. She never had a day of peace as all the big alhajis and mallams who worked under her kept using their brothers in power and financial crime agencies to make her life unbearable.

Most kids on NL don't know what is happening in the real world. Go to nnpc, nimasa, DPR, Cbn etc, you will think you are in a Muslim nation. Before you can get a job as a southdrner, you will have 2.1 with masters and professional qualifications while semi illiterates from the north who can't speak good English keep getting flooded in. The sad thing is that little entry the southerner will get, the same fools will Start agitating like it's their birthright.

Nnamdi Kanu is loaded with historical facts that can convince people but he mixed it with insults upon insults. Too bad.
He should ve called for restructuring of the country with the facts he has. If we try restructuring and it doesnt work then the clamour for separation can begin.
Again ipob should ve faced both the past and present governors, senators, ministers and politicians of Igbo land to give account of what they did with all the allocations they ve been collecting over the years. They are just making noise with their ipob rather than calming down to face the issues at hand step by step. Biafra may not even be the solution.
