You're welcome.

Ensure to read through their rules and regulations.

Create post around past 12 am cause today being Sunday is no post day, so you won't get any response.

Include on your post the baby's birth weight and current weight.

Shey you've started complimentary feeding?

Okay, I'll do all that. Yes I have, he eats Tom brown, oats meal, vegetable puree and swallow. He takes just about anything basically, it's just this poo that's bothering me.

Thank you once again.

Teething doesn't cause diarrhea. Since the consistency is normal, don't give any thing.

Follow "Ask the pediatricians" on facebook to get professional advice before gbogbonishe people recommend nonsense for you.

Many thanks ma'am, I'll do that now.
Health / 6 Months Baby Poos After Every Meal by horhizah(f): 6:26pm On Jul 03, 2022
Hello Healthlanders,

My 6 months and 3 weeks old baby started pooing after every meal since last week. I wasn't worried because he feeds very well, is still as active as ever and the consistency of the poo is normal and not runny like diarrhea kind.

A lot of people have attributed it to teething and advised that I start giving him flagyl after which I start Bonababe. Bonababe I'm comfortable with, but you see that flagyl, I dey fear am. I want to take him to his paed tomorrow, but that guy is super expensive and he'll make sure we run series of tests which will mostly come out okay.

Abeg, if I can get expert advice here, I'll be more than happy as I'll be saving money.

Cheers!

P.S- Please I beg those of you who would say Nairaland is not a hospital not to comment. I know it's not a hospital and I already dropped the comment myself. "T" for Thanks grin

Hey there good evening. Please do you mind giving a detailed explanation of how you made it with all those ingredients you listed? Thanks, heard a friend of mine always talking about tombrown. Always thought he was referring to kunu-tsamiyar

I'll give details based on kg, you can use whatever measurement you want applying the same calculation.

Ingredients
500g maize
500g sorghum/guinea corn
500g soya beans
200g groundnut
Clean and Very dry Dates fruit as preferred or it can be omitted entirely.

Method
1.Pick out all the dirt from the grains and nuts and set them aside.

2.open your dates fruit, take out the seeds and 'cobwebs' grin

3.in a clean dry pot, fry your dirt free grains (maize and sorghum) until they turn light brown and start popping.

4. Fry your groundnut for about 3 minutes on low heat.

5. Fry your soya beans till the shell starts to come off.

6.when the soyabeans cools, pound to remove the chaff or take it to a mill for them to break the beans.

7. Sift the soyabeans till it's chaff free.

8. Mix all your grains and nuts together and take them to a dry mill to be grinded to smooth powder. I was lucky enough to get a very good place where they have a separate engine for 'baby food'.

N.B - I used a cloth sieve to for the power to get an extremely smooth consistency. You can omit this step anyway.

Been following this thread for over three years now and never posted. This morning I tried my baby's food (Tom/Turn brown) with beans porridge and thought I should share pictures with the people who have been the cause of my salivation for years now.

I made the Tombrown powder myself and it contains Sorghum, Maize, Soyabeans, groundnut and dates fruit. It is the elder brother of pap grin

Good afternoon mums please o we went for immunization and my one month old daughter was given injections on her thighs she cried for a while and sucked then slept, she just woke up since morning we returned for over 30 minutes now she has been crying especially when you try to carry her. She has totally refused to eat or even suck at all and she is also running temperature. Please I'm really worried.
Don't be worried, it's normal. Tepid sponge her to reduce the temperature and give her paracetamol. In less than 48 hours, everything will normalize.

Prepare you mind for 10 and 14 weeks immunization because she will cry and run temperature. Just give paracetamol and tepid sponge. Don't be worried.

So because I'm a Christian, someone will climb my head and I'll be licking their feet.

Why didn't you caution those people picking on me unnecessarily? But youre quick to picked up my lines and blow it out of proportion, you agent of darkness.

Food / Edible Something For Lactation by horhizah(f): 10:03am On May 19, 2022
Story Story! Once upon a time (time time)

I had my first baby in December 2021 and really wanted to go the exclusive route, but after trying everything recommended like pap, lactation cookies, and everything else, I was still not producing enough even when I had stone-strong painful breasts (engorgement), so I try to extract with a breast pump, and sometimes I get 60ml after over 45 minutes. My frustration drove me to formula. Enfamil was fantastic but expensive, and my son had a big appetite; the way he gulped at the bottle so eagerly demonstrated how inadequate breast milk was.

We couldn't continue with Enfamil, so we finally settled for SMA. We took the first tin without issues, however, three days into the second tin, baby started stooling and vomiting. In summary, we found ourselves in EPU for 5 days and I was warned not to give him anything other than breast milk until he clocks 6 months. This was the beginning of my quest for adequate milk production.

I searched and searched till I came upon something that appeared to be a joke at first but turned out to be a lifesaver. Right now, I have too much milk, my fridge is overflowing with different batches, and I'm having a let-down as I type.

I gave some people from my stash for free and they wanted more, so I had to take money from them because one of the ingredients of this wonder recipe is scarce and expensive. So if you want to boost your milk supply or know someone who wants to, hop into my dm.

The product will make your breast milk flow like a river. You'll get results within 7 days.
Product is five thousand naira and it has a money back guarantee of 50% i.e if you don't get the result, I'll refund 50% of your money.

I am in Abuja o, Kubwa precisely.

Disclaimer: This is a physical product in powder form, not an e-book.

Hello Sabi mamas. I have a very good product for lactation. If your breast milk doesn't flow as it should, this product is for you.

It's 5,000 naira, but will refund 2,500 if after 7 days you don't see reasonable changes.

Payment is upon delivery if you are within Kubwa axis in Abuja and outside this axis payment is after delivery.

Why do you people have to extort people for information they will later get for free?

I know you want to survive but take it easy naw.

P. S. The medical personnel just punished you, instead of telling you that the utensils you used to give your baby formula should be better cleaned to avoid contamination.

Who will breastfeed babies who lost their mothers at birth or those ones will not survive?

Everyone wants to survive, but trust me, I'm not doing this for profit. I'm gainfully employed and also an employer of labour. Besides I am not selling information. I am selling the actual product. Na money I take buy the major ingredient from Niger, make I come dash you? I sell 500 Grams for 5k.
I know you are now disappointed that it's not an e-book. So retract that thing up there.

Everything I use for my baby goes through boiling and sterilisation (I don't take chances), I only bought adulterated SMA shikena.

Hot takes are sometimes very lame.

Peace
