Romance / Re: How To Woo A Nigerian Girl ? by horlajide: 11:04am On Nov 23, 2013
Be not wary lad, the course of true love never did run smooth.

Tell her she’s beautiful, and therefore to be wooed, she is
a maiden, and therefore to be won
and ye wish not any companion in the world but her.
Be of good courage and tell her ye know no way to mince it in love, but directly to say
‘I love thee’
and humbly do beseech her pardon for too much
loving her.

Lastly, speak low if ye speak love.

If all these work not, then verily verily thine village people art work

#Modified

Heed the sweet nothing I speak when I see a fine maiden I seek to woo

"For where thou art, there is the world itself and where thou art not, desolation!"
"I would not wish any companion in the world but you"
"I love you more than words can wield the matter, dearer than eyesight, space and liberty"
"Hear my soul speak. of the very instant that I saw
you, did my heart fly at your service"

Needless to say I leave them confounded like the way you are reading my post now

Music/Radio / Re: Skelewu Video By Sesan Or Moe Musa: Which Do You Prefer by horlajide: 1:09pm On Oct 22, 2013
The same people who first said Sesan's video is trash are probably the same people who say its now way better than the Official video. Davido was probably making an effort to please these critics and redeem himself but these same "fans" will be on the frontline of the criticism and make fun of him.
Many who say they choose Moe Musa's over Sesan tend to be swayed by the current popular trend on the media, don't be surprised that some havnt even seen one not to talk of both.

Moral of the story:-

People will alwayz talk.
You cant always please everybody.
Stick to your guns.

Dad lost the battle to Leukaemia. Mom broke the news after calling myself n siblings, sitting us down and telling us of the probability and the need for things to change thereafter. Never seen her so calm before or even that point. Been 16 years and we bigger, better and stronger

Rossikk:

No, what is heartbreaking is that you're so cretinous as to dismiss something you've never spent a single day in your life investigating.

Investigating!......like seriously?!
There's no point trying to reason with a gullible half-wit like you as you only see what your eyes want to see and what your ears want to hear..#Negativity

Height oF idleness......Freemason & illuminati conspiracy theorist like this irritate me.
Yet you won't refuse to spend it if I give you some bundles of these same note right?
In a short while you'll tell me I'm illuminati too just because I carry and spend the same note......Mumunism!!!

Its even more heartbreaking that some gullible Nigerians would believe this rubbish
Business / Re: The Best Insurance Company In Nigeria by horlajide: 4:07pm On Sep 05, 2013
Mauricemoh: Zenith Insurance is the No.1 Insurance co. as far as am concerned. This is due to their best service in all kind of insurance policy. A try will confuse you
Hmmm!!! I don't need to try any more, you hv already succeeded grin

Many would come here to drop names based on personal interests.. I'd suggest the criteria/reason should be stated alongside with the name of the insurance company e.g market share, capital base, customer relations etc

Would rili love to comment on this

Hold on lemme digest this

Had d intention of commenting on this till I realised it wasn't an objective thread buh one which seeks to compare both careers and which will eventually become a free for all fight where people will begin taking sides of either personalities.

I still wonder why people find it hard to realise its a break-up and both are separate entities now. Cant you just quit with the comparison already?!
Music/Radio / Re: Wizkid Ft. Wale - Drop by horlajide: 3:17pm On Jul 30, 2013
We celebrate mediocrity yet keep talking about how none of our artistes gets a grammy.

Wizzy is talented I wouldn't even argue about that, but lets call a spade a spade, the song isn't all that. I understand we are likely to be sentimental cos he featured an international act but that shouldn't take away our objectivity. I wouldn't fancy a song where I have to keep reciting "let ur panty drop for me" in the hook like a confused teenager. He should be thinking of making classics - song that can stand the test of time not jingles.

Buh anywayz wat i say wouldn't matter since its a "superstar"(Wizkid) and an american act(Wale), because obviously its bound to enjoy massive airplay and rotation.

Even if they tell her it's possible I believe she won't do it cos she's only seeking attention.

Even with blurry eyes I wouldn't look at this tin twice
