Ogene001: The government still needs to promote it to attract investors both foreign and local. Unless it will lie dormant. I was on Twitter recently when someone asked if Enugu had a free trade zone. The responses shows that many don’t know about it. 1 Like |

proeast: I am surprised that you are the first to mention this. The SESS region is an economic gold mine outside of Lagos. Igbos need to see the bigger picture and start massive investments in those areas. This is why I am a big fan of Enyimba economic city idea because the conceptualizers of the project stressed the untapped SE/SS market. 5 Likes |

ednut1: Honestly, the hypocrisy is sickening. How can you vote horrible people into power then have the mind to leave the country for a better life. All just to brag that your person is power. It's unfortunate that we share a country where so many are willing to cut their noses to spite their face. 1 Like |

Offpointng: No igbo man is myopic enough to vote bad leadership because they are worried about being made fun of. Igbos actually need good leadership no matter where that person comes from because with good leadership, everyone benefits. On the other hand some others care about their tribe being made fun of more than they care about good leadership. 1 Like 1 Share |

A guy shared a story of when he was waiting for his transfer flight and got in conversation with certain Nigerians who voted for tinubu and were in the middle of Japa. He asked them that they seem reasonable, why did they vote for tinubu after experiencing the last 8 years of buhari. They kept quiet until one of them said that they were worried that igbos will make fun of them if Peter obi had won. So because they didn’t want igbos to make fun of them, they voted for tinubu. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the mentality of people you share a country with. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Personally, I have no problem with people who have given up on Nigeria and decided to try their luck in other places. Except for one group of people. THOSE WHO VOTED THE BAD LEADERSHIP WE ARE SUFFERING FROM THEN RUNNING AWAY BY THEMSELVES OR WITH THEIR FAMILIES. How can you vote for buhari and tinubu yet you refuse to stay in Nigeria to witness the government that you voted for? 2 Likes 1 Share |

I think the south south is high because the rural areas are medically neglected. Most medical infrastructures are concentrated in the cities. |

Of course there is tremendous room for improvement in the south east. We can reduce it to 5 within a decade with better investment in prenatal and post natal care. The stats below show child deaths for every 1000 births for 2021 2 Likes
