A heavily-armed black militia group marched through Georgia's Stone Mountain state park on Saturday, demanding the removal of one of the country's largest Confederate monument. The site is a notorious meeting place for the Ku Klux Klan, which was "reborn" on Stone Mountain in 1915. Park officials said the protest, which involved around 200 individuals, passed peacefully, adding that they respected the group's First Amendment right to gather in the state park.
