AutosRe: Traffic On The Third Mainland. by hothead(m): 11:33pm On Aug 09, 2011
common guys i figured out the reason since i was 15 years old, heading to the Island from the mainland yeah, as soon as 3rd mainland bridge ends, the road narrows up naturally, this point is called the bottle neck and at this same point the road narrows up even more artificially due to the bus stop there then the switching lane pattern of drivers as well at this point all add up to create the traffic,  Same goes for the opposite direction. Observe this and then come back here and query my answers, am waiting, on the interim check out my city http://adeakure-sida.myminicity.com/

Foreign AffairsRe: Why Is London Burning? by hothead(m): 8:58pm On Aug 09, 2011
you hvae asked the right questions my man, the answers would help solve the issues, Its really not a small task to run a family, talk less of a city. The small city that i am building   http://adeakure-sida.myminicity.com  sef shows me the complexities involved, thumbs up jor people like you are constructive, will come back to give a few answers from my perspective

wizup:
I think the question is: Why is London Burning?, Is it because a man was shot? Is it because of government cuts? Is it because of tuition fee increments? Is it because youth centres are getting shut down? Is it because parents and teachers have been stripped of their disciplinarian powers? OR Is it because kids are eager to commit crime?

Holistic answers to these questions would potentially set a clear path to a sustainable solution.

Is it simply the case of 'spare the Rod and spoil the Child' at least that,s what the bible says.

WHY DO YOU THINK LONDON'S BURNING?
RomanceRe: What Does I Love You Mean To Girls ? by hothead(m): 10:47pm On Aug 08, 2011
as a retired bad guy that can very well take on the job of a coach tongue, this is what i know,
1) A good girl that is just on her way to bad wld want to hear "i luv u" b4 sex cuz those words comfort her and also greatly stimulates her urge to make out with u and enjoy it. It's a mental thing.
And for the guy, sayin those words once its d 3rd leg doing the thinkin and not head is sooo easy even when it's not genuine.

2) A bad wld most probably be turned off if she wants a fling and the guy says those words, cuz she wld realize that the guy wld just be on her case after the sex and she doesn't want that. A good time is all she is about.

3) couples, hmmmm i dont know o!!

NB: Pre marital sex is fornication sha! And sex is far far deeper than what u think o!

Jokes EtcRe: As Nigerians What Do We All Have In Common? by hothead(m): 10:28pm On Jun 26, 2011
Madamot:
The things Nigerians have in common are many. Among the things we have in common and make us have a similar spirit are:
- you're a professional at sharpening pencils with a blade, innovation and creativity
- having light for two days in a row is shocking or rather scary cuz you know the aftermath, triumph of hope over experience
- you know the yahoozee dance, finding fun in all circunstances
- all non-nigerians take your confidence for cockiness, definitely not our fault we are sharper than the rest of them, innate and deep self esteem and confidence
- somebody has ever threatened to "show you pepper", ability to inspire anger in others
- you used to write your name on paper and stick it inside your biro so no one would steal it. , distrust and sceptism
- you remember when agbani darego was crowned miss world (ahh, celebration galore!), National pride when good things happen to Nigeria { like football wins)
- you remember the day abacha died! i remember exactly where i was and what i was doing!, must mean something!
- you call all different types of noodles indomie (i personally don't cuz nothing else can compare!!), deep loyalty when deserved
- you used to have a hi5 account! (lol the pre-facebook days), technologically savvy when given the opportunity
- 'tales by moonlight' played a key role in your childhood development, nostalgic childhood memories
- you were delivered 5 hours later than you were scheduled to be. smh @ african time, knowledge that time was made for man, not vice versa
- you know what 'nneka the pretty serpent' is (hmm, and all the nightmares it brought on!), Nollywood fan!
- you have been annoyed by the numerous okadas on the road, knows Nigeria can be better
- you have made some money from being "sprayed" dancing at a naija party, combining business with pleasure
- you call all your parents friends uncle this and aunty that, even though you're not related to them in any way whatsoever!, extremely respectful when deserved
- your every sunday lunch is some variation of rice, esp rice and stew, loves ritual and rice!

and my personal favorite,
you know you're nigerian if you wake up from a bad dream screaming "BLOOD OF JESUS!!!", religious!
i luv this, kept me smiling, i'ld add just one thing which i believe is the strongest thing we all have in common, "pigeon english" i can confidently say that 80% of Nigerian starting majorly from the grass-root (i.e Ur grand mother or mine in the village) to the cream de la cream all can speak & understand this language, If i was President, i would make this Language our National language, English can go and chill, The effects of this I believe wld be greatly positive cuz it wld create that sense of unity which is missing at the moment.
