@ Williams85
Yes, the solution to it is using a two way lnb.
@Pitodenz
I agree with Williams85. Splitters are best used to carry signals from one receiver to other points of recepition (TV sets or signal ampliflers) in other rooms. You can use up to four receivers but better with a 4-Way LNB. Welcome to season 5

You did not specify your location. Are you in Naija? Which channels do you want on Astra B? There might be the need for you to Blind scan your 9x.

@ Love4sat

The problem is the sensor in the Decoder. It is either unplugged, dead or there is obstruction from inside. Get a qualified technician to check it. My brand new 4669x is also exhibiting similar problem after just 2 months of usage. I have turned it over to MyTv Technicians. Goodluck brother.

@ Jesu De

Certainly Olofofo & co gave me advise but on page 165 Oga Blexxonmak is saying that the lastest software is available. He is even willing to direct others to it. What is the harm if I asked for the merits and demerits of it?
I wanted technical explanation not just advice.  I thought this was a forum for exchanging ideas.

@George D,
Your comments sounded sarcastic. Pls have patience with some of us who want to learn.

My 9x+ software is 1.05p and is working normally. What is the advantage of downloading the latest software? Give a link to get the software IF it will improve my 9x.

@ All,

Pls help with answers to above.

@ Ilish,
Your FTA Bouquet is quite impressive. For the benefit of other members, pls include satellite names, frequencies and such other details to enable quik tracking.
But I thought SABC is now scrammbled?
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Official Thread Of Free To Air Satellite Tv (part 4) by Hotwire(m): 11:16am On Jun 07, 2010
@ Ilish,
Thanks for your advice but have you read the master's response (Olofofo)? My advice is to Upgrade only when necessary and you have the required skills. Your "damaged" 9x can be revived unless thunder had struck it. Abi Olofofo?

@ Olofofo,
Master, I have been referred to you for access to backyard by the Gurus wink

It looks like the choice of Bukhari may satisfy most Nigerians since he is not a politician, he is not a recycled material, not Godfathered by the bad and has no known corrupt dealing. More details later

@ George_D,
Thanks for accepting me. I have a 1.8 dish, a 9x, 4 LNBs and a star tv decorder. The star tv is not much use because of reception. I now enjoy multi TV, Zimbo, LC2 and other FTA Channels in Nile sat.
Pls George, am I missing anything?
