Hi all, I have been progressing in my runs. I am to start my week 3 this week and there is a goos news already. I just discovered a field very close to my house where I can go lapping early in the morning instead of spending my lunch money at the gym everyday. So I think all is working well. My weight is just between 76kg - 77kg for almost a month now, I know I will break this bondage someday and get to where I am going. So do all of us. Where is everybody ooooo? |

agabaI23: The last did anything strenuous was the day we did all night together. That was before I injured my calf. I think I am getting all good now. I will hit the road soon.all night praying or what? What have you been doing to yourself? Good to hear you are well now. |
babs2011: Hey! I'm here o, i will be back to logging my workouts. I need it!Yeah, it is good. Logging in makes you accountable. This week had been awesome for because I started running again. I just entered a 5K training program and I have putting my all into it. I however ran on the field yesterday and I enjoyed everybit of it, it is really good to be outside once more. |
joy4anney: @hour glass, ƭћǟπƙs for d prompt reply. Well, as for my statistics, d last time I checked, my height was 5"1 (165m) and 75kg. My daily log sometimes is in dis manner: breakfast: Rice, stew and beef or indomie and egg. Lunch: fruits/vegetable, or Rice. Dinner: wheat/semo and soup. But at times dis vary. I trek from my house to d bustop (10mins walk) every am and pm.You really need to step up your workouts, you may start with a walking or running program or search for DVDs, get something for yourself on Youtube. Just try to do something that will lift your heartrate up a bit than 10 minutes walk to and from the house. Cut your portions down a bit and then take more fruits and vegetables. Let us start from there and then we move gradually, try to also log what you do and eat on a daily basis. |
Yvete: Nice thread! I've been trying to lose 12 pounds in forever!! I started using protein shakes and it added a few pounds. I'm very active, workout 4 times weekly, but I've hit a plateau so I'd be trying kickboxing classes this Saturday. Hope it works!Workout is good for weight-loss, drugs are bad for weight-loss. Let us first off know what your statistics are like your height and current weight. Then what are your routine meals like (try log a whole day here), What exercise regime would you like to take up? I hope am not asking for too much, but let us have answers to all these then we go from there. But remember, weight-loss is 80% diet and 20% exercises. So always remember, changing your diet is vital to your goals. Wishing you the best. |

They are actually not good, they do not give you a permanent weight loss like an healthy lifestyle will do. Eat healthy, control your portions and workout like youre brushing your teeth. |

Another week gone by and it is one of the most uninteresting weeks for me in a long while. Nothing spectacular and yesterday was my weigh in day at a weight of 77.7kg as against 76.3kg last month. At the clinics during the check on Monday, they recorded 76.5kg in my card. So much fluctuations thanks to TOM, I think. 18.5 minutes jump rope (twice). Level 1 30DS 3 hours heavy cleaning (today) |
I read that Marilyn Monroe got her slim waist with a hundred sit ups every night. Can you beat that? Happy Weekend. |

babs2011: @HG: I dey o. My son was admitted to hospital for the past few days, praise God he is discharged now and better. It was a very stressful period. Obviously my focus was on him getting better so any workout regime was on hold.. In the meantime food has been good or even non existent as stress took my appetite.Am so sorry to hear that and thank God he is really better. It is well, you can use the time being to de-stress and take good care of yourself too. |

End of another wonderful week. It went thus: 27 minutes Level 3 of 30DS 18.5 minutes Jump Rope interval, it is now at ratio 1:1 + 30 minutes walk away the pounds 32 minutes strength training - upper body(circuit training) + 20 minutes brisk walk 18.5 mins JR + 54 minutes taebo bootcamp training 40 minutes Strength training (core) 60 minutes Core Max with Cathe Wednesday is now my rest day. Have a splendid weekend. |
I KILL: Abeg o, u guys should help a beginner,I don't know where 2 start from + I really wanna slim down, pls pls pls pls pls, pls note I'm a beginnerI KILL, you are welcome to the thread. It is is nice to know you are a beginner, just start by doing something you truly enjoy. Like can you start walking more and faster like 30 minutes a day [not the usual am going-to-work Lagos walk o. Start climbing stairs deliberately then move to running up the stairs and down. If you have a good neighbourhood, then wake up early and do the running 10 mins, and work your way up. If you are disposed register in a gym and tell them you are a beginner. Then you need to understand THIS, weight loss is 20% exercise and 80% diet, so you need to watch what you eat and try to keep everything in MODERATION. Log in here everyday to share your progress, when we don't see you we sense something is wrong. ![]() |

Glad my volleyball match for morrow is shifted till Tuesday, a day before my footie match thoughwow, wow, wow, am very sorry to hear this. Have you tried ice? It works like magic and try raising it when lying down. How does this affect me now? |
