Hi all, the week is better off than others for me. I started this week with a daily use of resistance bands for biceps curls and dumbbell triceps kickbacks. Irrespective of what happens, I am sure to do 3 sets of 12 reps each daily. Also 45 mins walk away the pounds, and level 3 of 30 days shred, I do walking lunges freestyle too, did that twice this week. Well this coming week should be fun though, all things being equal. Barbie I love that you give yourself a treat for your consistency. Agaby, but I warned you and you just kept shouting 'I miss you, I miss youuuuuuuuu'. You see now too weak to run. |
babs2011: More like once a month.Which is what I had been doing too. But I think I stealthily weighed in last month (shortly before the weigh in day) and because the scale did not move, I just lost my mojo and that was it. I will make sure that does not happen to me again. |

Logs for the week I did 17mins jump rope interval 3 times this week 35 mins Yoga Meltdown (on youtube) 44 mins Taebo Cardio 45 mins Strength Training (it was the day I pulled the nerve) 58 mins Walk Away the Pounds I have not been able to do any other thing since two days now, I wake up daily limping on that leg but it has really gotten better with massaging and ice. I will likely resume tonight. It is quite evident that I won't make my 1000 minutes this month (So I feel), but I still have months ahead of me to meet all my goals including my goal-weight. Thanks everyone for always standing by me. |

How dey go dey go na? I think I am finally out today and I did well with with more than an hour of resistance/strength training and my 17 minutes interval jump rope. I am truly happy to be back on my feet. I also did some 35 minutes walk on Tuesday too, (I actually forced myself to do it). I can really say that this coming week will be the best this month. What is most important is for my minutes to be complete. |

Hi all, I need to write this right now, I just weighed in today after a month and I have added weight or so I feel. At 76.9kg (starting weight this year) this morning (I know am bloated cos of TOM) but irrespective of that I must have added some 2.1kg in the course of the month. I know I will be free from this 1 step forward and 2 steps backward someday. So till 16th of next month and till Saturday for updates keep fit. |

babs2011: Dear Hg, you are not allowed to enter ditch o! There is a positive in your week, which i believe is a big one considering how you were feeling: with the food part at least, you didn't throw it all way and go overboard with the eating. That is usually the slippery slope most of us go down when motivation is lacking but you kept mainly on track!owwwwww nooooooo, now u gonna make me cry, lol. Thanks so much barbie, you will never know how much that has done to me. Thank you for always being there. You and the active others are a great source of inspiration to me. |
![]() This past week had a hell of a week for me. I just cannot pin point where it all scattered but I did not workout this week at all, save just 4 sets of walking lunges. I hope it is the fact that my mind is just resting because I was the one that was not motivated enough to drag my body to do it. I had just like a day of overeating but everyday was good foodwise. I had to delibrately eat less since am not using it for anything other my daily routine activities. All my ambitions for the week just fell flat before me. Even this morning I could not do anything, but I will. 1000 fitness minutes must add up before the months ends na, I have just 230 mins right now, a balance of 770. I will surely make God's willing. I need cheering and lots of motivation from you guys, don't look me leave me enter ditch abeg. Have a lovely weekend |
babs2011: Friday:You are a winner, you worked everyday this week. Mine is opposite, I did not do more than 4 x 12 sets walking lunges and some deliberate 30 minutes heavy cleaning this week. So sad but I could not just bring myself to doing anything. I look forward towards evening again for a motivation to do something for myself. |

My week had not been exceptionally awesome but I still thank God. I was truly lazying around on Sunday and Monday and Tues did not escape too, but it eventually ended nicely: 3 minutes push up (trying to see how many I can do in a minute, fitness level test. I was at an average of 33/min and I was classified as good, a line under excellent). 17 mins jump rope (intervals with march in place) + 10 minutes walking lunges (this time na my corridor go hear am, no be bathroom again) 10 minutes kickboxing with Billy + 58 minutes 4 mile walk away the pounds. 17 mins interval jump rope 25 mins upper body workout + 45 Taebo Cardio. That is it for this week. Has anyone tried Yoga or Pilates at all, I seemed to be developing an appetite for it this days, I mean proper Yoga sha. Catch you for next week's update. |
