BusinessRe: Beware Of ATM Card Cloning by HRhotness(f): 12:33pm On Mar 17, 2008
The problem with Nigeria is that we are desperate to meet the technological advancement of western countries but not willing to take the security measures necessary for that to work.

The ATM issue worries me and i have had a number of incidents to discourage me completely,  its only in Nigeria that ATM machines will give you incorrect sums of money. I'm used to taking my money and leaving, imagine my shock when i realised i was N1000 short, i thot i had lost my mind. my brother made it clear that it is normal, after a number of incidents i closed my Nigerian acct. I use my Barclay's visa card in Nigeria now, i dont mind the extra charge for security.

about internet transactions requiring PIN numbers? that should set off alarm bells in your head, why would they need your PIN? Plus interenet transactions should only be performed on secure sites. the ignorance in Nigeria is very depressing, even my mum is at fault, happily sending people to ATM's with her pin. Nigerians want to use all these modern conveniences without fully understanding how they work.

If not for the crappy state of our economy and exchange rate 15grand equates to roughly £60,
I buy shirts for my brother for about that price so i really don't see it as a big deal

Nairaland GeneralRe: Anyone As Bored As I Am? by HRhotness(op): 9:53pm On Mar 02, 2008
i hav gone thru all sorts, cant decide if they r real or just taking a mickey

i cant believe i'm actually lookin foward to the new week
Nairaland GeneralRe: Anyone As Bored As I Am? by HRhotness(op): 1:58am On Mar 02, 2008
Ahh shopping, my biggest problem,
i think d only reason i am bored is because i didnt spend d day doing what i usually do, spend money i dont hav
a friend of mine who is a financial adviser actually showed me how much debt i could get into if i continue d way i was going, talk about shock therapy.
So I guess I'm cured,,,,, for this weekend anyway.

FamilyRe: Pregnant Woman Uses Train Toilet, Baby Slips Out by HRhotness(f): 12:35am On Mar 02, 2008
@adeboo

u would be surprised how easy it is for some women.

i have a friend who was in labour for a total of 30mins,
the baby popped out immediately we got to the hospital, she was still dressed and hadnt even laid down properly
she said she thot she was going to pass wind, the next thing there was a head sticking out between her legs,

of course being so easy for her she has decided to produce children every other yr, she has 3 now and she only just turned 25
FashionRe: Where To Buy Clothes And Ankara? by HRhotness(f): 11:39pm On Mar 01, 2008
I don't think aso-oke is ever not in,

last time i was home there seemed to be an ankara craze, that's all my cousin wears these days and u can make them into anything u want (adsolutely anything!)

i'd advice u see a good designer (i found one in ikeja, very affordable and quite classy) they'd be able to help with latest styles and fabrics

FashionRe: Photos Please What Is Wrong With This Photo For A Nigerian Magazine? by HRhotness(f): 2:30am On Mar 01, 2008
i quite like the pic actually

i like the colour effect, i think the point was to highlight the hair and eyes,

i think they were aiming for the morning hair, just outta bed look, was achieved to an i extent i think
it would have been way cooler if the ciggy was lit with a little stream of smoke from her lips, the nails and the way she was holding the ciggy is all wrong
