Dont b sentimental abt some obvious truth grin
let act like sir komekun now...
15 goals in which league?
same league almost in same level wit division 2 league in the netherland where dessers bagged close 30 last season...

I am indisposed to that guy...from what i see him play in the colors of SE.....
we need a point man....please...
and Tammy and dessers should be given a look in...at least to shows us what they can offer....for now...I rate nacho ahead of him..

damn....naughty coach...
Nigeria really have to be very radical to get this guy....
should he agree to play for us...
call him for camping asap even when the paper work is still in process....

give him enough assurance that his future is safe wit the super eagles....

I didn't say highest goal scorer for world cup qualifier neither did i say all time super eagles record goal scorer.. Tell me who in the present super eagles team has more goals than him?? and tell me how many games they played to achieve thathuh
nice question my brother....
him coming in barely 15 minutes left to play against Cameroon and registering his name on the scoresheet tells more of his abilities and haven't lost his scoring prowess...

if we must do well in Russia come next year we need a more lethal striker

No, Iheanacho has not been doing it for his club unlike Ighalo that has been doing fine. Yes he is very lethal, but I will have Ighalo start ahead for now. We have not seen Iheanacho scoring recently, so who knows if his high conversion rate is still very much intact.
what has ighalo been doing for his club if I may ask?
please bro...I know what that guy can offer...
a little bit better than ideye when it comes to bring clinical....and that's not what we want.

then replace him wit dessers....
I think we don't want a striker like cavanni as Our main point man...

everyday I see reason why we should do all we can to get Tammy....because besides our defense....our CF role need urgent attention....
ighalo is not a dependable striker....we need strikers in the calibre of our wingers....
take a a cursory look at the our wingers...
etebo,Dennis,Moses, S Moses, iwobi though can still the Am role, onyekuru, olayinka, serenren bazee, kalu, musa etc

What do you then think is the cause of this attitude? Our skin color, weather, race or what? Because it is not only in terms of stadium facilities. When you visit Cities like Cairo, Rabat, Tunis, Luanda, Harare, Lusaka not even mention the SA cities, you'll almost think you are in Europe. Unlike most capitals in West and Central Africa. And ironically it is West and Central Africa that most of the talents in Africa emerge from.
Lol...please i don't want to laugh...
you see corruption has drastically reduced west Africa especially Nigeria...to a good for nothinh giant...

hope you're currently aware of the present nnpc contracts debacle...
to be honest wit you...money go missing in this country daily....and I can tell you that those revelations were true...

If not that Nigeria is rich...by now the country should have been in bankrupt...

moreover.....I remember after my graduation...I told a friend of mine from south Africa...she was so happy for me...saying I will be very rich ooo...
I asked why say that...her reply was in her country if you're a graduate you're sure of a job...
I told her the realities in Nigeria...even wit a first class......
so I think ..the problem of west Africa..especially Nigeria is not the absence of human resources but lack of capable and transparent hands to manage this human and natural resources to attain a productive end

My preferred starting line-up and formation for now. Mikel playing as a CM will be able to offer some defensive support also and also do very well as regards combining with Iwobi to orchestrate chances and keep the midfield in control. Iwobi can thrive very well with Mikel's presence in the midfield and Mikel doing one of the things that he is known for, and that is initiating attacks. V.Moses and S.Moses are also good defensively therefore balancing defensive and offensive play.
with this formation I will prefer nacho as CF...
reason because we need a clinical man upfront...someone who can bury chances at his disposal fast...and can play one two wit alex

NFF,Rohr set to clash over Abraham
Published October 18, 2017

Festus Abu
Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr is reportedly set to battle it with the Nigeria Football Federation over teenage forward Tammy Abraham.
England Under -21 striker Abraham has emerged as one of the hottest young properties in English football after scoring five Premier League goals for Swansea City on his season -long loan from Chelsea this season.
The 20 -year-old, whose father comes from Nigeria , has not been capped by England at senior level, meaning he is still eligible to play for the Super Eagles .
NFF president Amaju Pinnick claimed last month that Abraham had agreed to play for Nigeria , but the player denied that the NFF had yet to contact him with regard to playing for Nigeria and pledged his international allegiance to England .
Our correspondent learnt that the NFF decided to go after Abraham after Rohr , who is a fan of the pacey and energetic London-born striker , told them that he wanted him for the Russia 2018 World Cup .
Our correspondent learnt that the NFF was rocked by Abraham’ s statement, with some of the top officials of the federation allegedly vowing to ensure that the player is never allowed to don the national colours even when he makes a u-turn on England .
Rohr is said to be insistent on having Abraham as he believes involving the young striker would boost his striking options in Russia as Nigeria seek to make a bold statement in their sixth World Cup appearance .
German manager Rohr is said to have been encouraged to have Abraham in his World Cup plans after the player , whose father comes from Delta State, opened his door to Nigeria switch after the Eagles qualified for the World Cup following their 1-0 victory over Zambia in Uyo on October 7 .
“ There are a lot of things going on . For me that is a sign you are doing something right if Nigeria are fighting for you and England want you as well, ” Abraham was quoted by The Mirror as saying last week.
“ I’ m happy right now and just want to keep playing my football . Nothing has happened . I ’m not too sure what is going on .”
But Rohr ’s employers are said to be opposed to the player representing Nigeria at the World Cup and have reportedly told him that they don’t want Abraham on his list .
Spokesman for the NFF Ademola Olajire , who refused to confirm or deny whether Abraham would be invited by Rohr for the World Cup, however insisted the player agreed to switch his international allegiance from England to Nigeria .
Olajire said the federation would not force any player on Rohr , saying the former Burkina Faso coach would be allowed to select his squad for the World Cup.
“ The NFF does not have any player in mind for the World Cup , it’ s not our job to invite any player , ” the federation chief told our correspondent on the telephone on Monday .
“ Rohr is in charge of the team and he is the only person who can invite any player .”

My girlfriend who I was planning to propose to despite so many flaws finally broke the camel's back when I discovered she was sleeping with a married military officer in Kogi and has been trying to blackmail me with tears and saying it was in her past. My reply has been that, I can take almost anything from a woman however, unfaithfulness isn't one of those things. Funny thing was the way she referred to the man as a father-figure constantly ehn! I'd have prostrated on the floor in thanksgiving for all he was doing not knowing that he was helping me to wash plate. I almost got married to this person fa! I am not even a Yoruba...I am from south south...
though...my Yoruba female friends told me same thing...while in nysc...

I think...tribalism in marriages is paramount amongst the major ethnic groups...

for sure...In as much I love intertribal marriages...and over the years I have gone polish my mom's mind to see nothing wrong wit it...

but I have now ruled out the possibility of marryin from.either the south east or south west..

my auntie married an ibo man from anambra state...she went through hell
prior that marriage...even wit pregnancy the man was later made to change his mind by his people....who warned him not to Marry from elsewhere...it took the intervention of God...and my mom and uncle...
before he later returned to his senses

today they have been married for the past 15 years wit children to show for it...and houses they both built together...

they live in Benin where I hailed from...but my auntie speak ibo and that's the language they speak in the house..likewise the food they ate are mainly from the south east...

dear....please don't insult me...all what i wrote to you are mainly from my experience..I have meet more ibo ladies....but the response all turned out to be the same...few yorubas I have meant...and they have same belief too...

I rarely see igbos creating threads about how they were rejected by another ethnic group though many cases like that abound in real life.
It is always other people creating threads about Igbo people and how we rejected them and their sad proposal.
Must all of una marry Igbo?
nobody crave to marry igbo mind you...love is not totally predictable....
you can love anyone from any tribe...and such proposal should be assessed by the content of a man's character and not his tribe...
I have seen intertribal marriages bloom and also I have seen tribal marriages bloom as well....likewise both gone the other way....
what matters is not tribe of the person you marry...but the person himself...or herself.

Highly-Rated Liverpool Winger Considering Playing For Nigeria

Liverpool winger Bobby Adekanye is still mulling over whether or not he will commit his international future to the country of his birth, Nigeria.
Born in Ibadan to Nigerian parents, the former Barcelona teenage sensation qualifies to play for the Netherlands and has caps for their youth teams, but has not added to his international appearances since 2015.
''No, I have not made a choice yet. I'm not busy with that either. That will happen in the future,'' Adekanye told
voetbalzone.nl.
Three years ago, coach Emmanuel Amuneke challenged the youngster to come to the Golden Eaglets camp to prove his mettle, without formally inviting him to the screening exercise held in Abuja.
Adekanye made his first appearance for Netherlands U16s in their goalless draw with Spain at the UEFA Development Tournament in February 2015.
Eight months later, he played competitively for the U17s during the European Under-17 Championship qualifiers.
The 18-year-old scored twice and created two assists in Liverpool's 4-1 win at Maribor in the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday afternoon.

It's already too late. He is now in a position where he has to prove his quality and pedigree.

Memories are very short in football and your only as good as your last game and a season of under achievement does not propel your career to the next level.

I said this donkeys ago. That the true test of your pedigree is not what you can do with top World class players around you. But what you can do without them, how well can you play and impose yourself on the game as a quality striker.

The reality is KC is not an out and out striker he's more of a support striker. I did not watch the match but the reviews abou him are not good.

Leaving Leicester city is not an option at thus point he has to perform football is very unforgiving. If he continues to put in mediocre performances he may find his position in the SE no longer secure.
you're right....I agreed 100%
