the play today is poor

Great attempt by Iwobi... Keeper parried the ball off his mark.

Corner to Nigeria.
that was a weak shot
the heading was even more annoying
our defenders can barely score with their heads

Selfish play from Ighalo. Should have squared for Musa or cut back for Iwobi.
i tell you very annoying
that would have been a goal had he passed

AINA should know how to shot nahhh
goal keepers at this tournament are not that good...shoot directly at them, you may be likely to birth a goal from that

between the players and officials i don't know why they always like to make us a public spectacle reinforcing stereotypes about african countries i thought all this nonsense had finally stopped
the main architect of the nonsense now...is president buhari...
just imagine after serving us the worst sport minister last term...up till now he has not formed his cabinet and many Nigerians are expecting same old men to revolutionise the country.
I pity some persons sha...up till now the president don't even know who will serve in his cabinet and the NASS will soon go a recess till September....and you know approaching towards November he will travel abroad...for his vacation

My Personal opinion about this years AFCON:

1 It is the worst in recent years

2 Nigeria won't win. Our greatest undoing would be the GK and our Coach especially

3 Senegal would reach the finals

4 Uganda would reach the Semis

5 Mane would cement his place as Africa's best

grin cheesy
everyone knows your personal opinion is for Nigeria not to win the afcon.
pessimism at its peak....I wish your opinion all the worst...

Nigeria is winning this afcon.

Do I know Sunny Anderson? Do not even start. Do you? Because I know Sunny Anderson well. He was a brilliant Brazilian that was hardly called up. Maybe because he was in a Mickey mouse league.

Forget all these talk. I watched almost every match in France 98 and watched every match in Nigeria 99. As I am writing, it is not some Google stuff like you.

Do you know Hassler of Germany. That was euro 96 when Gascoigne was brilliant for England.

You are just arguing. Last month, I worked with one of the analysts of NTA Port Harcourt who had an analysis show of France 98. I do not watch ball again. Back then, there was no YouTube. You have to keep tabs with every game to talk football.

You can not understand.

So you want him to pick Omeruo ahead of Koulibaly? Abi Chukwueze ahead of Keita Balde? grin grin grin grin
I was not really pleased with your long epistle the other day after the super eagles match... but I could not reply back because of your technical knowledge of the game... had it been I never watched the match I would have believed you wholesale.

will be waiting for your write up after the Guinea match.... grin

and for Senegalese players.... they're good, fast and young just like Nigeria players...

what will stand both teams out when they play is tactics and team bond.
they play so fast....and skilful.

there will beat Egypt so easily should they meet...... the way they played Tanzania shows class.... absolute class.
Nigeria would have beat Tanzania too but not as fast as Senegal...

Burundi was definitely a hard nut to crack and moreover the sickness issues in camp was not helpful...

Same feeling I had after that game vs Burundi.

I really never gave SE much chance in this AFCON but with what I saw in that game, I think we can stand any team.

I'm particularly happy the team has depth - players that can come from the bench to change game if things are not going well - as it happened in that game.

We still have other quality players like Osinmhen, Kalu and Simon who have not even tasted action.
I tell you...do you know that Burundi players were promised 83k dollars on Saturday had it been they beat the super eagles...

Nigeria really played well for a first match like that and after the illness in camp...

the only team for now which pleased my eyes to watch is Senegal they're fast, skillful and deadly....

they're a team to watch out for...thank God there will be VAR in the Qfinals..
those goals scored by guinea and Madagascar under VAR may be ruled off as offside...

Qfinals will be deadly...
Senegal is really a team to watch out for...even Egypt will be scared of them...
Nigeria too will do well...all we need is for the players to be psyched.

Genuinely what I thought after watching the other favorites but I didn't wanna spill it out because I felt my opinion was largely influenced by sentiments.
I tell you bro...the only team play which pleased my eyes...is Senegal.
they're fast and skillful though they appear wasteful too in the final third...

but to be honest Senegal will surely go far...they can beat Egypt easily.
just what Nigeria players need right now is serious psychological upbeat... they really need inspiration to make them believe they have what it takes to win this trophy.

I will love to see Nigeria vs Senegal final

Firstly, you jumped into this particular discourse without any idea what the central issue and or question is, that prompted my comments.

Then you make a negative emotive prejudiced totally unrelated and quite condescending allegation. The term HATER is very apt where you are concerned. Can you explain how my comments are hypocritical or maybe you dont what hypocrisy means.huh

Keeping my comments in the strict context of my response to the proposition that all Senegal's players are bang average apart from Sadio Mane.

Your premeditated dislike completely blinds your sense of reasoning. Your irrational dislike is infantile but still clearly evident. I would say you should be ashamed but you clearly have none, and you are not Sorry.

Look at screen shot below and then look at yourself.
you're that man blessed with a diamond at home but will go aside and start admire and long for his neighbour bronze.

you really need to understand that many of this players oshimen and chuks you see as average all because they're not in England will make the squad of the 24 teams participating in this afcon.

so sorry for the harsh words I used on you yesterday, please don't take it to heart though.
just don't understand why you berate super eagles players that much...but uphold other nationals playing same league with them.
the guy who scored that Senegal second goal plays in Belgium... I am so sure if he was called up by the super eagles coach you would kicked against it...just same way you sometimes berate oshimen.

sorry for my harsh words...I must say it wasn't appropriate

I think you are exposing your complete lack of knowledge or rather blind patriotism for Nigeria.

The players above are average according to you.

I completely disagree with you.
sorry to say....
you're a serial hypocrite.
you call and recongnised this players simply because they're not Nigerians...

the only african players you recognized doing well outside England are the non nigerians...

mind you the guy who scored senegal's stunning second goal plays in Belgium I doubt if he is better than oshimen...

but you don't mind name that guy and downplay oshimen....all because of your hypocritic nature...

and here you're accusing some one I being over patriotic when you were never patriotic.

you should be avoided at all cost...and asked to go open your 3 lions thread....
I really think one of this days we should face this thing together...me and you.
and watch you misuse those your lopsided parameters and speak your English that hold no waters....

I agree with you on this

I have not seen Ezenwa shake like a leaf in harmattan the way Akpeyi does
Akpeyi case have gone spiritual
it is not ordinary at all... even the 18 years super falcons goalie don't shake like that

not even that we are playing against the likes of england, spain, france, brazil etc
against burundi..... common burundi dude was shaking like a leaf
common tell me what will happen when we play egypt in a competitive fixture

Dude will convulsed.
