Difrent: And most don't even know the difference between an arrest and honouring police invitation. Not everyone that goes to police station is arrested , some go to honor invitation and are allowed to go home afterwards We are not a peppersoup class. We know right and pay less attention to beer parlor reports. Invitation and Arrest is not same. Thanks man |

Rhetorics Africankel: The official statement is on tourist and business visas. And not everyone is entitled to the five years visa - only business people who they deem qualified.
Secondly, I read on another thread and noticed that people are mistaking the non submission of passport as visa free, this assumption is wrong. Nigerians still need to apply for visas to travel to SA, except that they won't be required to submit their passports at the time of applying. Moreover, we have been enjoying this service for nearly three years, so I don't understand why that is being announced now. Media Propangada |

Dayof19750: Hi guys I have a question. I'm seeing that we need direct confirmation from the hotel for our application. But I've fully paid for the flight through Expedia app. Can I use the flight itinerary and accommodation itinerary for the visa application? You dont pay for a visa without an approval "first" - do not do it again in your own interest, because not all tickets are refundable. In this case, process this visa at the vfs to avoid the online drama. Yes, you can use bolded but do not pay for it. The embassy disapproves visas because of accomodation or hotel from third parties. Do your booking directly with the hotel. You will be guided here on which hotel to use @africankel |

Allegation does not flow in the ears of Nigerians. Once an arrest is made, that is final decision. Nigerians Angelfrost: Well, it's an allegation... Let's see how it pans out.
That said... The Nigerian Church scene is overdue for sanitisation.
We can't say this enough... The scandals and issues are becoming alarming.
CAN and PFN need to put their houses in order, and do something about the massive scourge of hirelings and apostates. |

Tourism is Tourism. Do not complicate your application knightingale: A question please. My travel purpose is tourism at the same time I would like to dedicate a day to fly to another Schengen country to source for suppliers for my business (not buying any product, just sourcing suppliers for future business transactions) Can I mention this in the itinerary and cover letter? Is it safe to mention that? I am confused if they might deem the purpose of my visit as business and not tourism. Please advise. Thanks a lot Goodluck |

Ajalalomo: The ticket from Cotonou to Paris - what is departure & return dates? Dec 5th - Dec 9th Air fares are not fixed. Book in time 443$ |
Travel › Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by hunee: 9:55pm On Nov 24, 2024 |
Ajalalomo: This is his first visa He has to use that visa. I am not sure if those guys are here, but a few people got these visas in the past and didn't travel with it. Consequently, they have not been able to secure another Schengen visa after that. I hope he listens to the advise. I was checking expedia today for low fares and I saw Brussels airlines flies Paris for about 432usd on return , so check . But the said person has to travel via Cotonou if he wants a low cost rate as the lagos airport now is having very high traffic thus leading to increased ticket fares. I wish him luck. |

In your own interest, if that visa is your first schengen visa, you had better go and spend like 5days and return. In your own interest. Goodluck Ajalalomo: Please I need you guys to help me look into this.
I am supposed to go to France in the last week of November, but I will not be able to do it because my employer recalls me back from annual leave and pays me cash in lieu of the leave.
I obtained a one-month Shengen (France) visa earlier this month, but I will not be able to travel or use this visa because it will expire on December 24.
While my visa is still valid, can I go ahead and apply for a new visa for my proposed trip in March 2025, or should I wait until my current visa expires before I apply?
One of my junior ones asked me the above question, but I don’t know how to answer the question correctly for him. |

Can you guys confirm this ? |
Travel › Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by hunee: 5:30pm On Nov 20, 2024 |
Milito: Its actually my 4th Schengen. But I always put a valid accommodation reservation. I assume they always confirm them, or they do not? I'm just concerned of the implications if they decide to confirm and they are told the booking does not exist. It does , but Same you can't buy a voucher or book a flight without a visa approval. So it's understandable. |
Travel › Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by hunee: 3:18pm On Nov 20, 2024 |
Milito: Yes, I understand. They didn't even ask me to confirm it, they just totally cancelled it and when I sent an email, they apologised that it's a system error.
But I'm just concerned that there'll be no valid accommodation booking for the application.
Even if I do another one, I wonder how I can communicate the new details. Milito, Relax na. Is this your first time? Relax. Pray for success |

If it is possible to modify or convert tourist visas to study in some Schengen nations while on a visit , then the possibility of this is also very clear. |

Africankel: No... Legally present means you are not there on expired visa.
Here's the email I sent.
"Hi there,
I hope this meets you well. I'm a Nigerian visiting Munich for business. I'm desirous of applying for a B2 visa to visit the United States. Giving my status as a visitor in Germany, is it possible to apply for a US visa from Munich?
I look forward to your swift response.
Kind Regards,
Xxxx"
Unfortunately I couldn't apply because my visit cut to 5 days. 👌 |

The interpretation for legally present should mean , they have a resident permit? Africankel: Your information is FALSE!!!!
This is an excerpt of an email from the US Embassy in Berlin.
"Thank you for contacting the U.S. Visa Service Desk.
We understand that you are a Nigerian citizen, and you consider applying for a U.S. visa in Germany.
We would like to inform you that an applicant has the right to apply at any U.S. Embassy or Consulate abroad, as long as they are legally present in the country of application." Please expantiate for novice like us |
