Whilst I acknowledge account balance as key, it doesn't end up being the determinant for visa success.

Though id land in London first before flying to France from Ireland or Cardiff wales. I need stamps in my visas as my 2years UK visa is still virgin. I was supposed to travel last month October but didn’t because I wanted to explore France reason I had to put up France visa and I also got that. thanks to God. And it’s cheaper flying via London.

I’m actually doing my research via schengen map and I’m seeing Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands and, Luxembourg but I believe those that reside there or have been there know best so that I’d plan my itinerary well.

I have my Visa already but planning how to spend my days and hotel and train booking.

From Uk, you can also enter France via Flixbus or Vueling Airlines.

If you are more bothered about stamps, be informed to use Air to fly.

Flights are relatively less around these regions. You can check with expedia

Do not also forget that schengen regions operates open borders.

If you need to use Flixbus from CDG, you can get it through Bercy .

You have a weird feeling cos of a passport photograph? Even if you fought the lady that took your biometrics, she doesn’t play any part in your approval or refusal process. You’ll get it if you qualify. Take it easy.

I submitted my France Schengen visa application yesterday and deep down in my mind I met all the requirements but I didn’t have a passport photograph along to the center. I was charged for that and I snapped a picture but on the point of submitting the passport photograph, only one was accepted from me by the woman who attended to me at the biometric room. Immediately after the situation, I knew deep down that the visa application would be rejected or have a visa refused despite the fact I called the call center to explain things to them and was given the hope that if the application needed additional documentation I would be emailed.
For people who are going to submit their applications, kindly have it in the back of your mind that you need to do proper research and stand on what you have researched to avoid being led off by the agent at the submission center!

I think this depends on the attendant. It is not a big deal, but if you look at the checklist, they request for 3 month , not 6 months.

I don’t appreciate your tone. Just because your experience was different doesn’t make mine any less valid. Why would I have any reason to make things up? I was clear about my timeline, and I submitted the documents exactly as stated. The staff member (a lady) that attended to me on that day accepted ALL of them. Is it that hard to understand? Policies do change over time, you know.

Hello everyone. Pls how do I withdraw my Italy Tourist visa application and get my passport immediately? I don't want again. They have frustrated me for no reason and they can keep their stupid Visa and just send me my passport as I need to travel to the U.S on a work assignment. They can't keep treating people this way. I have been to Switzerland in the past so I'm not a first timer in the Schengen area. They have still held on to my passport for more than 30 business days. I have called them, they don't pick up. I have sent like 10 emails in the past 5 days to their Abuja and Lagos embassies and copied the Lagos visa email address, telling them to send back my passport, that they should keep their visa, they still haven't responded. I'm supposed to go to Houston this weekend. What do I do? I'm almost losing my mind. These f*cktards are holding me and my passport hostage. Pls help.

Dear Member, I understand how you feel but please be calm and read how to go about this.

1. Stop sending mails. Visit the submission center and make a formal compliant.

Your visit can be in person or by proxy.

2. Be careful how you handle issues of this nature, it's withdrawal of passport not like any other thing is involved.

3. Another thing you can do is write the embassy directly by post.

Let me explain that. Draft a withdrawal letter then copy Lagos and Abuja .

Use DHL to deliver. The letters should go to Abuja and Lagos simultaneously.

They should promptly act on any of this. No need for dragging online or anywhere. It's a very simple thing abeg.

Ayomide, if you want to apply , its fine. Many have received several visas with 400, 500k account balance. That is why i spoke about different people different status. Dave is giving you a vital and technical advise, perfect one .

You know ...
Ticket is expensive, accommodation in Paris, all of that has to be put into the box for any sort of visa consideration.
If you, Ayo was a VO too, i am sure you would also be considering those factors before you can grant a visa to an applicant.

So , weigh your options and make a consideration.
there is never a perfect timing for visa applications though, it is just getting things right that matter and hoping for the best.

For 6 months of my account, my Total Withdrawal is 9,548,996.99 and my Total Lodgement is 8,349,275.00

Technically, I am not sure what others may think, but applying for a family of 5 now isn't the best. Maybe you do for your own uncle "alone" or your uncle , his wife and just one of the kids. However, if you can substantiate reasons to the receiver of your application why they should grant you , you will be lucky. Mind you , these kind of application require alot of paper work.

- Family pics
- proof of enrollment of the kids in school
- A solid bank statement
It cost about 1.2m to book a flight from Lagos to Paris.

So ensure your application is very solid and leave no room for loopholes.

Lastly, there is another crucial document you can add as support document, a recommendation letter from a top person speaking well of your uncle or aunty as the case maybe!

Before you travel make sure you acquire skills and show willingness to learn the language. That will be like an easy pathway for you.

In my case, I have a masters degree from a university in Paris.
After getting my job, my employer wanted me to reapply for this kind of visa but I had to return home first.

The entire application was taken care of by a French immigration agency hired by my employer. I just went and submitted the documents that they sent me to submit.

About getting a job from Nigeria, depending on your field and skills their are French companies open to hiring foreigners.

1. While there's no written rule as to the amount of money you need in your bank account, I personally think ₦2m is too small for a 2-year MSC Programme, even if you are on scholarship, this amount is still too small to show as living cost for two years. Irrespective of my personal opinion, it is the VO that'll decide whether or not to grant your visa on the balance of probabilities.
