Got a notification from DHA today

Evisa got rejected. Reasonn being that I submitted fraudulent bank statement

I submitted my personal savings (24/6 to 24/9) and business account (1/6 to 23/9) as well as their reference letters scanned, stamped and signed.

My personal savings have been maintained for years with nothing more than 40% debit of monthly salary. I've used it to get other visas. Added business as an incentive
I've had that personal for 15 years and built it for 18 months. Business account goes up and down but been at 8 figures consistently.

Now I'm lost on if I should appeal (heard it takes some time) or I should proceed to VFS?

I have a dummy reservation with Ethiopian airline that expires in 24hrs. Can I still use it for physical submission as I have an appointment with them on Thursday morning.

Also, who do I address the Bank reference letter to? Which address?

Good morning everyone ! I'm trying to apply for SA visit visa on VFS website .. I have a few questions though .

1 .. Must I book for flight and pay for it ? Or I can use a dummy flight booking ?

2 .. Can I book for hotel on booking.com

3. Is 3m closing balance good for a 6 days stay ?

In verifying a hotel reservation, the visa issuing authority simply checks on the hotel website with the reservation code provided.

The manager saying he wasn't contacted, might be correct. However the booking couldn't be verified online.

After you got denied , did it stop you getting the visa several other times?
Now acting DHA officer over another person’s application.

1. I told you this was a feedback, so I don’t understand this “fix this up”
2. When I posted it was others to learn .
3. I stated this was to juxtapose what the manager against what DHA said not your “thinking “
4. Lastly, I already said the person moved on ahead of this. Why should I stress?

The response shown me read and I quote

“There is no feedback regarding verification of the booking you submitted, therefore you do not qualify for visitors visa.”

This has nothing to do with genuinety of documents.

TBH, that question is hard to answer right now, cos applications has been hanging for weeks as i learnt.
Home Affairs is currently running on low capacity and scrutiny of applications has been heightened.
This is the update.
So if you have anyone or know anyone visiting SA , advice them to arrange and upload the right documents to avoid refusals.
Stamp anything stamp-able because home affairs will confirm.
The possibility of delays of adjudication is as a result of delayed feedbacks on authentication of applications from providers or third parties.

What would you say.
Application was denied because DHA said the hotel didn’t confirm reservation.
Applicant has dropped another application though.
But the hotel manager insisted they never contacted him.
I don’t understand this…
I think we should just discuss it so other people can learn.
I think at this juncture everyone should follow up with their banks and hotels so they are checking mails to ensure they don’t miss anything from DHA.

Smiles. What I meant was that assuming I want to send naira to someone in nigeria and I have rand in my account in SA, is there a way to send the money directly from my account without passing through the usual way of looking for who needs rand in exchange for naira? Hope it's clear now?

I'm currently at TLS contact, Victoria Island, the lady that attend to me said my application can not be collected because I booked for Business, Tourism, Conference and trade fairs. Please I'd like to find out a few things from you guys here. I want to apply for S.A study visa and i intend going there for a undergraduate degree program.

So, for medical insurance, can I use any insurance company in S.A or is there a particular S.A company that the embassy requires applicants to use?

Secondly, for proof of sufficient funds, how much do I need to have in my bank account, at least, for study visa? How do I go about the proof of funds process... Can I still apply with a stamped print out of my bank statement?

Do I need to actually purchase a flight ticket ahead?

I intend to rent an apartment though, do I still need to book a hotel?

I will appreciate your detailed responses on these questions and if there are other things I need to know or information that will help me in my visa application process. Kindly share as well.

It says >> The information submitted regarding the justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not reliable <<

Should i appeal the decision? And how do i correct my mistakes in the appeal letter?

I was just surprised seeing one who got the sticker visa in less than 2wks and it made me want to explore that option instead of the evisa.

Also, mine's for a conference. I just needed the documents, and how he went about the whole thing. Hence, my request.
