Nice work, may God crown your efforts with great success. |
I hate it when people refer to Fayose as ''opposition" that man should be working for his people and stop ranting around like a mad dof. |
seunmsg:Let him go to work on that day, if he does not like it, nobody is forcing him. |
CSTR2:I like your optimism. Just as Gowon answered to them after murdering millions of people, or Omar Bashir of Sudan has answered for killing millions of people in Darfur? If the US/UN really cared just a phone call would have been enough to secure the release of Nnmadi Kanu. The truth is the US dont care about Biafra, they never will, in this life all animals are equal but some are more equal than the others. The north attracts the attention of the world because of the growth of islamic fundamentalism, Biafra in the real sense has no allies, the FG knows this thats why they fire at protesters at will, knowing that nothing will happen. |
CSTR2:Did u just say US? Lol. The same US that has not even acknowledged the death of the people at Onitsha bridge head but quickly released a statement whenthe shiites were killed? Forget US they dont give a Bleep a out Biafra, they have absolutely nothing to gain from it. The truth is Nnamdi Kanu and his band of followers does not have anything to ruffle the feather of Nigeria except of course the blood of their followers, and the Nigerian government is not really averse to shedding blood as recents events demonstrated. |
Blizzy9ja:Kindly remove SE from that equation. SE feeds on the oil from SS, imports its goods from the south west ports and get its food from the north #fact. |
Make me sef follow park for here men, who no need money this Xmas? |
Banning Biafra threads on Nairaland will be a big blow to the agitators, Nairaland and radio Biafra used to be the biggest media for promoting the idea, i always knew it is a matter of time before the authorities took note of the trend and threaten the owner of the forum to put a stop to the agenda. However i still believe that every group has a a right to seek self determination, as far as it is done with civility and in an atmosphere devoid of violence |
DerideGull:What is the value of land in Ibo land that is worth gold digging? You people have an overbloated impression of your importance, a typical land in Lagos is worth 100 times more than the same piece of land, so why should anyone be interested in such worthless properties. |
Abeg make una leave Kogi people to do anything wey dem want, afterall there is a reason the state is the least developed in the whole of west africa |
Tundenoni:Amin ase, a pe lewon ju obo lo. |
Onitsha? Shut down? And not even radio Nigeria report am? That city must be too inconsequential in the scheme of things, shut down ordinary Agege for 20 minutes even CNN go carry am. |
Was there a biafran uprising? Nobody in Lagos seems to be aware of that. |
There is always a first time to everything, if something has never happened to you b4 it is difficult to predict how you would react, a lady had accused me of bashing her car b4, she grabbed my shirt in front of my estate gate, i couldnt talk, i was just looking like mumu, it took the intervention of my female neighbours to save me. I never imagined it could happen to me, i was so dumbfounded. I dont blame the OP we are all human. |
FKO81:so how come they couldnt give GEJ the same number of votes in 2015? Did they all die? Or they simply chickened out. You people destroyed Goodluck with your lies. You told him your population is 80% of Lagos population, that your votes in Lagos and the North will be enough to give him a 2nd term. GEJ being the simple man that he was believed you, but what happened? Weeks to the elections your folks in the north all ran away....u see its one thing to boast online its another to face the wrath of Northerners....you couldnt back your words with action...you ran away....as for Lagos the Yorubas simply came out to show the world that the combined votes of both the Ss and SE people is no where near their own...in the long run GEJ learnt the hard way....Never in his life will he trust an Igbo man. |
90% of people here in Lagos have never heard of the name Nnamdi Kanu, talkless of who he is. He is more popular on Nairaland than any where else. His arrest has not even made the front page of any news paper or a major blog, no senior government official has even made any reference to it, the dss has not issued a single statement..... that guy is an online tiger....he cant roar talkless of bite. |
omonnakoda:I totally agree with you 100%. I am Yoruba i support Biafra but not in this Nnamdi Kanu's planless and stupid ways. Tactics is better than bluff any day. |
I am presently in Owerri now, Action area B new owerri to be precise, i am so surprised at jow terribly the city has deteriorated in the last one year. I used to defend Rochas, i belived that he was being hated because he supports APC, now i know better if i am indigene of this state i will stone him. Its that bad. |
btoks:Kudos, you are very knowledgeable. |
atbu1983:A thousand gbosas for you...... |
chigoizie7:There are sea ports at onne, calabar, port Harcourt and Warri already. |
How can u conduct a survey by asking people if they have been kidnapped before? What about gathering data of kidnap victims in the last 5 years to determine the rate of kidnap by region. Nonsense journalism. |
The truth is "the average criminal does not want to waste his time on a victim he wont get anything from, therefore he takes his time to profile his victims and determine their networth b4 he attacks, you are only making his job easier by flaunting your wealth". You don't need this advice if you have spent just 2 days in Nigeria, not to talk of those who were born and brought up in this same country. |
I keep asking these questions and nobody seems to be able to answer: 1. How are the Fulanis occupying Ilorin? 2. Is a Fulani man the governor? 3. is a fulani man the deputy governor? 4 How many commissioners are Fulani? 5. Is the local government chairman a Fulani? 6 The Emir is the leader of the moslems not Ilorin, so how is that an occupation? |
Freemanan:Believe me, if you are married, you will know what i mean. |
OP please add Personal Hygiene and a taste for aesthetics |
johnserek:No i am not happy! Lagos was capital of Nigeria for many years how many enemies invaded the territory? Even during the civil war Lagos was safe, my question is, why should Ibadan take what belongs to Lagos in the name of regionalism? As for Ekiti and Osun , in a true federal system a proportion of revenue generated in Lagos will be set aside from them to enable them diversify their economy and survive, but for Lagos money to go to Ibadan in whatever guise is totally wrong. |

Why should Yoruba wealth go to Ibadan and not Lagos where it is being mostly generated? Why would you replace one imperialism with another one? Regionalism wont work. True federalism is the answer, each state should control its resources. That is my take. |
This Biafra thingy wont lead to war, the noise is only on the internet, out there nobody cares, it is a noise coming from the least relevant region that contributes virtually nothing to the nation's economy, the worse that can happen is that the region will turn to another North east with IDP camps every where. |
While i may not totally agree with Ganu Adams, i wont also attack him, if not for him and his OPC in 2001, the Hausa/ Fulani would have overan Lagos and Ogun state, but not only did his group stand up to them, they taught them a lesson never to be forgotten in their lives, since then how many times have u heard the Hausas attack Yorubas again in the south west, so whatever he says i still remain grateful to his heroic deeds for standing for Omo Odua against the marauders. |
