Infact someone suggested that those who paid the initial exhorbitant fees at the cinema should have started a riot there and then for a refund or atleast some change.
I just feel the AY guy just gave the movie the needed hype and by the time you realize it,it would be too late cos you would have parted with cash.
I was part of the people you referred to, i felt so disappointed and i actually felt like starting a riot but many people (especially those chewing gum chewing girls) were laughing so loud like they just saw the most interesting film in the world. I felt like slapping them sef. angry angry angry

your comment shows your mindset towards the igbo people......if they don't contribute anything...why not let them go in peace
Check my comment again, i never mentione igbo people, i mentioned their region, Igbos definitely contribute a lot to Nigeria, even a fool can not deny that, but most of their contributions are being done outside the east. Dig?
Politics › Re: Another Civil War Will Lead To The End Of Nigeria; Setting The Records Straight. by huptin(m): 1:11pm On Jun 25, 2015
One thing i learnt from Alex madiebo's book on the civil war is that "all assumptions before a war can go wrong". @OP Jut one event can throw all those assumption of yours into the trash bin. In war logic usually takes a back seat. Events that led to the 1967 civil never pointed to the midwest and the west joining the north, until some soldiers started getting greedy and embarked on unnecessary expansionist policy that pitted the Igbos a against the mid west and the West.

InyinyaAgbaOku:
Ports and other federal revenue centres in lagos were built and maintained by FG, with oil money
Ignorance is bliss indeed, as at the late 70s oil was contributing less than 30% of total National revenue, by that time Lagos was already a great city, so how in your dreams did oil build Lagos?

ignoramus, in your bid to exhibit emotionalism, you stupidily make blind argument. The ibos contribution to nigeria development is far more than what south west bring to the table. Only kids equate lagos to south west because you hardly leave ur cage
ok i know for sure that you are a fool, but check my write up again did u see south west?
Politics › Re: FG And States Shared N409.354bn Yesterday by huptin(m): 7:33am On Jun 24, 2015
So far VAT contributes about 46% of total government earnings and some idiots will be shouting that Lagos( which generates about 80% of the VAT) was built with oyel money. Mad people.
Politics › Re: Radio Biafra And Nnamdi Kanu: A Threat to Nigeria's Stability. by huptin(m): 6:17am On Jun 24, 2015
You know why the FG is not bothered about this radi Biafra nonsense, they know its a self destruct adventure, that will be limited to only one region that does not contribute anything significant to the nation's treasury, such a thing would never have been tolerated in Lagos or south south.
Politics › Re: Southwest Nigeria-third Largest Economy In Africa(ideas For More Prosperity) by huptin(m): 8:04am On Jun 23, 2015
I love this topic, but i disagree with the OP on the aspect of south west states not collecting allocations from FG, the region currently generates over 80% of the government's non oil revenue, from all indications Nigeria will progressively depend on non oil revenue more than oil revenue in the future, there fore it will be totally unwise for the southwest that contributes the buck of the non oil revenue to stand akimbo and look on while regions that contribute absolutely nothing like the North and South East are sharing the largesse.

I don't subscribe to much talk. I've already read in between the lines to know exactly why some of your people are saying Igbos should go back to their land. Why is the call only in Lagos and not any where else?

Lie small, small abeg. Haba!

How did they know that you were Yoruba? Were you asking for the direction in Yoruba?
My accent betrayed me.. i spoke pidgin. Thinking back now i guess they knew i was a stranger who was confused (i was in my corper's uniform on my way to Lagos from Abakaliki) and wanted to exhort me, but i was scared to my pants, i have never been in a similar situation before in my life. But now i think i am smart enough to avoid that kinda stuff again.

sorry for wat happened, not all parts of igbo land ate like dat... did u report dem to the police?
Of course not, i simply entered a bus and moved down to Lagos, fortunately my money was in my socks, i made sure i never passed through Onitsha till date, to think i was really excited to go to the east, i had extended family members of igbo origin who told me good stories of the east, but since my experience i only visit the state capitals and i never go out at nnight except in a group. I had another bad experience at Aba, thanks to the soldiers that came promptly to my rescue, this was a daylight robbery attempt.

I have some good folks that are Yoruba and I have been told by Yoruba landlord that they don't rent to igbo does it mean all Yoruba are igbo haters ..oh hell no...we have to know that we just can't generalize it ain't working and good
Do you want me to believe that oil money was never a used to build at least third mainland bridge and dredge tin can
if 3rd mainland bridge is all oil money could build in Lagos i say shame....Lagos would not need a 3rd mainland bridge if not for population explosion occasioned by mass migration of people from everywhere.

As for TIn CAN dredging, are you saying that revenue from the ports can not finance that? Of course not. Even the oil you are talking about does Ondo not produce more oil than the south east?

Did air strikes not exist during the obasanjo and Yaradua regimes? Have we not been using air strikes on boko haram?
When Yar adua ordered air strikes, where were the so called millitants, they all ran away, it was because more harmless women and children were killed and subjected to serious problems that the whole world prevailed on Yar adua to stop that approach and he then offered them the amnesty.

At least boko haram has the decency to face the Nigerian army in a fight, but once the so called millitants cause any trouble and the army is sent in, they disappear and leave their wives and childeen to face the marauding soldiers, how come they could not even try to defend Odi for a second...even the commander in chief at that point expressed surprise as to how Odi quickly fell like a pack of cards without the millitants even having the decency to defend their towns after looking for trouble.
Politics › Re: Igbo,ss And Them All In Nigeria by huptin(m): 7:26am On Jun 21, 2015
OP, its a pity your post smacks of falsehood and lies. As regards accomodation you cannot compare Lagos and Anambra. You said Anambra is home to all, how come i was attacked at Onitsha bridge head a few years ago, just becos i am ndi Yoruba? How many non Igbos are in that your home for all compared to Lagos?
You did not see anything wrong with Achebe's rants about Yorubas in his books? Arthur Eze's insults? Nnamdi Kalu's incessant incitement for all Yorubas to be killed? Asking Ibos to boycott all Yoruba churches etc.

But you keep talking about the Oba and Ariyo. So how many Ibos have been attacked in Lagos or any where in the south west since then? Your assertion that Lagos is built with Oil money is terribly false, as at 1979 when Lagos was already a big city oil was contributing less than 30% of total government revenue, even now Laglos generates more than 70% of government's non oil revenue. Lagos generates far more revenue to government than it receives, so how can you say Lagos was developed by oil money?
Lagos has ceased to be a federal capital since 1991, how come you people have not gone to Abuja en masse to claim the place as no mans land?

You guys also told us Buhari destroyed maiststaine sect and would destroy boko haram in one month . But what do we have today? Bombing on daily basis The gains recorded in the last days of GEJ's regime is gradually been eroded.

If niger delta militancy resumes today, the Nigerian army as it stands is not equipped to fight a two faced war in the region and the NE simultaneously. Our economy would be brought to its knees.
I think Buhari should thread carefully and gradually
cancel the contracts
if the Niger Delta millitancy resumes today, it wont be a war, no not at all, it will just be a skirmish, as far as it is quickly addressed and not allowed to snow ball. No amount of ammunitions and grenades can withstand air strikes and nobody in Niger delta will volunteer to be a suicide bomber.
