Good evening NL

Do anyone here know if two people can share the 3 day hotel quarantine if they’re not family? I read on Canada website that it’s allowed for people who are travelling together to share the hotel to reduce cost. Has anyone here done this?

Please reply me please

Urgent

I’ll advice you to withdraw your application immediately and reapply then declare your previous refusal. If you were caught with a misrepresentation which is what this exactly is to VO, then you’re gonna get banned for 5 years from all these 5 countries; USA, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand and even after the ban the chances for you to get visa to these countries will be like really really minimal. So if you just submitted your application, I would advice you to withdraw it and reapply with proper informations.

Good evening NL

So I sent my passport to VFS Lagos two way courier service DHL.

Although throughout the whole ordeal VFS didn’t send me any emails but I managed to contact them and get my tracking ID which I’ve been using to track my passport, now it has been stamped and returned to VFS Lagos. They wrote on the tracking site that it has been sent vide courier service. Then I decided to contact them again and they told me it has been sent with tracking number 5489*** which is the 2nd waybill number given to me by DHL. They told me again that it hasn’t been picked up by DHL and that I should contact DHL which I did. Now the DHL customer care told me she doesn’t understand what I’m talking about and I should go to the branch that did the service, which is quite far btw. Now my question is, for anyone that has used two way DHL courier service, is this the normal procedure? Is there anything I can do otherwise than traveling back to dhl office Lagos? I’ve tried this branch phone number but it’s saying invalid. Thanks

Hello Guys....I paid for one way DHL to submit my passport to Lagos, I just got an email from VFS that my passport is ready and to pay for their courier services. Price is 11k+, is there an alternative to this as I stay in lagos seeing as I paid about 2k to dispatch it to them. Would they allow me pay DHL to pick up? Has any body done otherwise?
Thank you
You should have used two way courier service, unfortunately there’s no way around it and you’ll have to pay the 11k.

When did you submit your passport and have you got your counterfoil and LOI in your account?

Good day NL

Sent my passport to VFS Lagos for stamping since 24th of February, marked as signed by one Mr. Festus. Since then, no acknowledgement mail or any updates from VFS. Called on the 25th and I was told I’ll get updates once it’s inputed , called again on the 26th same story . Should I be worried?
I’ve seen other people getting acknowledgment emails and some even saying received by Abuja VFS.

How about the very first one which states.

"Have you ever remained beyond the validity of your status, attended school without authorization or worked without authorization in Canada"

I am asking these questions because I don't want to make mistake. Please.
The right answer should be ;
1. No
2. Yes
3. Yes

Under the reason, you don’t need to explain, you can just write “Study Visa refused + date refused + your UCI and application number.”

Good day everyone ! Once again please is there anyone here that has a medical booked for Qlife for this or next week but won't be able to go cos of any reasons? I've got a medical booked for the middle of February but I'm hoping for a sooner date, and I'll be glad to trade medical appointment date with anyone who might be willing to shift their appointments to later days. Thanks.

I did my medicals at IOM on the 27th. When I booked this appointment, they haven't resumed online booking. However, when I discovered that online booking had started, I filled the online form and picked the nearest available date which is 1st of February. That's how I came about 2 medical dates.

With what I saw on the day of my medicals, I believe it's impossible to swap dates.
Anyways, let me brief you of medical protocols at IOM Lagos..

I got to the venue around 7:00am. I met some people hanging around. We were informed that the gate will be opened by 8am. At 8am, people crowded the gate and the security man came out to address us. He brought out a list and asked those with 8am appointment to form a line. He confirmed their name from the list and asked them to enter. Next the 9am were marched in and it came to the turn of 10am. Mind you, I entered around 9am so the time was not a barrier.
Upon entering, you will be asked to show your international passport and your receipt of payment. You will be signed in by a machine which takes a picture of either your palm or your face.
There are several buildings which caters for different countries like Newzealand, Canada, UK, USA, ...... You will then be directed to Canada building.
There, you will be directed to fill this Google form:. /iomha
Afterwards, you will be asked of your passport. Next, you will be directed to a room where your blood sample will be taken.
After a while, your passport will be returned to you with a checklist of other tests you'll undergo.

Next, it's the chest x-ray.
Next, a urine collection bottle will be handed over to you. You'll fill it halfway with your urine and wait to be attended to by a nurse.
When called in by the nurse, you will be asked series of questions which you must truthfully answer. Your weight and height will be checked. You will also read some letters from a board to test your eyes. The urine sample will be tested with a strip and disposed of.

Next, you will be led to a waiting room where you will see a doctor. The doctor will ask you to wear the hospital gown with minimal clothing underneath. He check your feet, stomach, chest, eyes and go over your initial tests (x-ray, etc). I was asked to wait for an additional one hour by the doctor because the x-ray was sent to Nairobi for analysis and the result wasn't available yet. After an hour, I was informed that I was done with my medical test and could leave.

c'est Fini.
Wow! Thanks for the detailed answer, I really appreciate!

No need for private chats now

If it’s ethically possible to swap . Why not say it here so others can learn

Private chatting wouldn’t help the growth of this forum

All the best
I don’t even know if it’s possible to swap or not. I was rather trying to know the details of the appointment, furthermore if the swap was gonna happen, don’t you think there will be some sort of private communications anyways? To clarify, I’m not trying to contribute negatively to this or any other forum , you just seems to have mistaken my intentions or taken my words out of context.

I actually have an appointment booked for tomorrow at IOM Lagos but with the way it's done online, I don't think it's possible to swap. During registration, name, passport no,address were used to generate a reference ID which is particular to each person.
How can I contact you privately please?

I don’t believe it’s a must that you use the NSE route. If you can’t meet up with their demands why not just ask for regular processing? I’ve read about many people that went through this NSE stress and still got refused. I don’t think it’s something worth stressing over as it is optional anyways
