Good day great people of nairaland. I'll make this as short as possible and forgive my typo errors.
I've been working in this construction firm for the past five years together with taking care of my family and my girlfriend who has been in school but due to ASUU strike, now at home.
I'm usually busy and spend less time at home except on weekends - Sundays.
Recently, my girlfriend has been talking me into changing the nature of my work to another job that will afford me the opportunity to give more time to my family and her. I insisted that I'll need more time to be able to find another job but she will not have it that way.
Seems to spoke to my mother about it and it's now hell in the home with my mother threatening she will kill herself if I don't quit the job. This job is something I have used in completing my house and paying the fees of my girlfriend.
Lest I forget, I got the hint that my manager is considering me for a promotion and my quitting the job might just spell doom on me!

I'll appreciate all your suggestions, advice and criticism. I'm really in a fix!

An average Nigerian won't go through the stress of collecting voters card or sharing food at registration centers to vote in tinubu or atiku

The Zamfara State chapter of the GSM Communication Union has lamented that 50 of its members were abducted by bandits between Sokoto and Zamfara States axis on Saturday evening.

Addressing newsmen at the Press Center in Gusau, Zamfara State capital, the State chairman of the Union, Alhaji Kabiru Garba Mukhtar, said that their members were attacked by the bandits when their vehicle developed problem that forced them to park along the road.

The chairman explained that 20 out of the 50 kidnapped victims were lucky to have escaped from the bandits while he said the remaining 30 victims were still with the bandits.

He stated that the bandits used one of the victim’s handset to call them, informing them that 30 members of their members were in their den.

Alhaji Mukhtar explained that as at the time of the press briefing, the bandits have not made any demand regarding ransom, saying that they don’t know the condition of their members in the bandits, camps.

The union urged the security agencies, state government and other relevant authorities to give the issue a serious attention as the union alone cannot handle the teething problem.

“The kidnapped victims are mainly youths who are the leaders of tomorrow, so we expect the security agencies and the state government to redouble their efforts for them to regain their freedom,” he added.

Recall that in the last few days, kidnappers has have been ravaging the State, kidnapping influential people without any challenge.

DAILY POST recalls that that recently, the wives and daughters of former Accountant General of the State were kidnapped alongside over 20 persons.

Also, a former Permanent Commissioner of Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission (ZSIEC) was also recently abducted with his brother along Tsafe/ Funtua road

All we end in tears. We want to see your running mate please. The church will mobilized all christians against you. The Northern Christians that suffer the most will not vote you. They are millions of Christians in the Northern part of this country. Whoever thinks that Muslims are more than Christians is living in a fools paradise. North central is dominated by Christians, North East have good numbers of Christians except North West excluding Kaduna State. Tinubu ambition is dead. Its your turn as a presidential candidate grand daddy. Muslim Muslim or Muslim Christian can't help you. PDP or LABOUR will have the day. Northerners will not see Kwankwaso and Atiku and vote Tinubu. I think people should start telling themselves the truth. This is not 1993 that religion means nothing or region. The present Nigeria have passed that area and you should face the reality of today.
